Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1456: Developments of the Alchemy Hall Disciples and Elders... (2)

1456 Developments of the Alchemy Hall Disciples and Elders... (2)

Looking over the alchemy disciples and elders as they sold all kinds of alchemy products to the different cultivators who had come to visit the Falling Star city, Xuan Hao decided not to interfere with them, as it was ultimately beneficial for the Star Shattering Sect and the growth of the disciples and elders to have such an easy source of spirit stones.

Not to mention, the elders and disciples of the sect would have to help supply the sect with potions or pills before they had an opportunity to sell it outside of the sect. Meaning that the current supply in the Star Shattering Sect should be more than enough to fulfill the current needs of the sect.

If not, there was no way Elder Song would have allowed something like selling to outsiders to happen, as the sect would have to be prioritized before anything else.

Although… With the elders and disciples of the sect selling a large number of alchemical products at what could be considered a relatively cheap price, it did help enhance the reputation of the sect among the different wandering cultivators, causing an increased number of these kinds of unaffiliated cultivators to move to the Star Shattering Sect's territory.

Given that they would mainly earn a living and cultivation resources through the Explorer Union or by exploring on their own, they had no problem settling down inside the territory of the Star Shattering Sect, as the sect itself was located right next to the Frozen Wastelands that had countless opportunities inside of it waiting to be explored.

Even if it was an incredibly dangerous thing to do, the wandering cultivators weren't intimidated by the demonic cultivators, as there would always be some sneaking into the Frozen Wastelands to look for precious spiritual herbs or other heavenly and earthly materials that could only be found inside the Frozen Wastelands.

Outside of that, there were also some who took on a safer option of hunting down demonic cultivators, as Elder Song had already made sure that anyone hunting down demonic cultivators inside the Star Shattering Sect's territory would be rewarded by the Star Shattering Sect.

Though this wasn't unusual, the rewards given by the Star Shattering Sect could be considered superior to that of other kingdoms or empires, something that had been done deliberately by Elder Song to ensure that the sect kept up its appearance. Even if it did end up costing the sect a bit more resources than needed.

Luckily, there weren't that many demonic cultivators who ended up sneaking through the border and inside the territory of the Star Shattering Sect, but even then, it didn't stop some wandering cultivators from actively searching throughout the territory of the Star Shattering Sect looking for any demonic cultivators. Making it far harder for any demonic cultivators who happened to be hiding inside the sect's territory to remain hidden.

At one point, it almost ended up with Su Wuhan, who had at this point become the righthand man of Elder Dust Fairy when it came to information gathering on demonic cultivators, getting discovered by a few wandering cultivators.

In the end, Su Wuhan had been forced to remain inside the Shattered Star Peaks most of the time where he could hide away without fear of getting discovered and chased down by any wandering cultivators, while him leaving required him to take several teleportation formations that would place him around the edge of the sect's territory where he would be able to smoothly slip outside the territory of the Star Shattering Sect and complete the missions given to him by Elder Dust Fairy.

Thinking about, Su Wuhan had already managed to fully adapt to life inside the Star Shattering Sect. Fully becoming part of the sect over the past few months, though that would be a story for another time. For now, Xuan Hao once again focused his attention on the alchemy elders and disciples who were busy doing their best to market their pills, potions, special liquids and other things to passing cultivators.

Although there wasn't anything wrong with what the disciples and elders were doing and he fully understood the benefits of it when it came to the improved reputation of the sect, he also understood that there was a limit to it given the current identity of the sect.

A few elders and disciples selling a few things for cheap would be fine and fit in with the identity of an ancient hidden sect, but… If the number of alchemy sect elders and disciples doing something like that grew too much, it would inevitably end up drawing unwanted attention and questions from larger powers like the Blue Sea Empire.

At the very least, given that the current Star Shattering Sect was far smaller than the size of what could be considered an ancient hidden sect, even with a few hundred alchemy disciples and elders going out to sell a few things for cheap, it was at most viewed as a small fraction of the sect's alchemy branch… And given that the strength of the alchemy sect elders and disciples doing it wasn't that high, it was just seen as a few from the younger generation likely trying to earn a few extra spirit stones on the side.

To avoid future problems, some restrictions had to be implemented earlier rather than later.

For this reason, Xuan Hao planned to contact not Elder Song, but instead Pei Yang and have him set up some basic restrictions when it came to selling things outside of the sect.

Given that he was in a sense the highest ranking elder in the alchemy hall, it would be fitting to have Pei Yang do something about this situation instead of Elder Song, who was already busy with other things.

Taking a bit of the burden away from him would give Elder Song more time to deal with other things and hopefully also give him some much needed time to relax and cultivate in peace… Ŕâ𝐍ՕβƐś
