Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Thinking about the chance of the demonic cultivators having a similar branching cultivation path like the Celestial Immortal and Profound Immortal Realm, Xuan Hao soon shook his head as he felt that it would be unrealistic for there to be another more powerful branching cultivation path compared to the demonic cultivation path that he was already familiar with. After all, demonic cultivation in itself was already a branch of normal cultivation in a sense.

All things considered, he felt that it was more realistic that the Demon King Realm itself was far more complicated than he first thought and perhaps gave demonic cultivators the strength to rival even those in the higher realms of the Profound Immortal Realm after reaching the later stages of the realm.

Then again, he was far too uninformed about demonic cultivation at the moment to make any real guess as to what kind of strength someone in the Demon King Realm had, as he had limited interaction with demonic cultivators at the level.

The only real knowledge he had managed to gain on demonic cultivators coming from ancient and historical records and the assistance of Xuan Gui and Su Wuhan.

Although… The one who provided the most useful information was Xuan Gui, who had already spent a long time as a demonic cultivator. Nothing like Su Wuhan who had barely spent a few years as a demonic cultivator at this point in time.

The only reason why he was even useful when it came to gathering information on demonic cultivators in the first place was because he could make use of the information network that he had been helping the sect build up among demonic cultivators to gather information from countless demonic cultivators. At least ensuring that the current Star Shattering Sect had a rather extensive understanding of demonic cultivators below the True Demon Realm.

On the other hand, the historical and ancient records that had been gathered by the sect about demonic cultivators so far didn't seem that useful and only seemed to be about past events that involved demonic cultivators. Not really including much information on their fighting methods or details on their cultivation realms.

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao at least felt that information about demonic cultivators should be able to grow with the disciples and elders of the sect almost constantly being locked in battle with demonic cultivators at the borders of the sect.

If anything, it might result in them gaining a far more extensive record on demonic cultivators below the True Demon Realm compared to even larger empires like the Blue Sea Empire if things continued like they were.

After all, a large empire like the Blue Sea Empire would undoubtedly not keep that much information on demonic cultivators below a certain level outside of some basic information considering that demonic cultivators below the True Demon Realm couldn't pose even the slightest bit of threat to an empire the size of the Blue Sea Empire.

Even a demonic cultivator in the True Demon realm would find it difficult to cause much damage before being hunted down and killed.

"Hm? With that in mind… Is the information regarding weaker demonic cultivators inside larger empires like the Blue Sea Empire perhaps focused on the different hiding methods they use instead of their combat techniques?" Muttering this to himself as he realized the main problem weaker demonic cultivators could cause for a larger empire, Xuan Hao felt that it might be a good idea to try and trade for this kind of information in the future, as the Star Shattering Sect would also have to deal with different demonic cultivators hiding away inside of the sect's territory, a problem that would undoubtedly grow along with the size of the sect's territory.

The only problem being that he would have to find a way to buy that kind of information without giving his identity away.

At least for now, the size of the Star Shattering Sect's territory was still small enough that he could use his divine sense to look for any demonic cultivators who might be hiding.

Although, he did already relegate dealing with any demonic cultivators he noticed by doing this to the mission hall. Having the elders and disciples deal with them instead of doing it himself, as the sheer number of demonic cultivators that kept popping up would end up wasting a lot of time on his side.

Not to mention, it was a good experience for the disciples to try and hunt down demonic cultivators throughout the sect's territory, as it would allow them to learn how to track down someone, while at same time also understanding the mindset in case they ended up being the ones hunted down in the future after they left the sect's territory to explore the world on their own.

After all, there would come a time the disciples would need to leave and explore the world like Chu Yang was currently doing, as it would be incredibly useful for refining their dao heart and giving them much needed life experience, something that would be difficult for them to gain just by staying inside the Shattered Star Peak and cultivating without facing any real challenges.

Of course, for now, the number of disciples doing this kind of thing had to be extremely limited given the Star Shattering Sect's current status. Only allowing some of the most exceptional disciples to leave the sect's territory undetected to explore the world on their own.

Outside of Chu Yang, who had already gone out, the other disciples leaving the sect to do this kind of training were mostly among the older ones who were stuck at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and needed something different from just cultivating to break through the bottleneck to the Nascent Soul Realm. After all… Even with the assistance of the sect and rich cultivation environment of the Shattered Star Peaks, it was still a challenge for most to overcome the Cloud Tribulation and reach the Nascent Soul Realm, something that could be seen from the fact that there was still only 13 disciples in the Nascent Soul Realm and close to 2000 in the Core Formation Realm.
