"Fuck, how the fuck are we supposed to fight a million of these."

—-Dodge!

Baton dodged as he struck the one mummy down with his hammer.

Luckily, everyone had maxed out on their levels after defeating a few of these mummies, making it easier for them to deal with one at a time.

But that quickly became their problem too. The spawning of the mummies was way faster than the rate at which a team killed them.

"Don't use your skills on them unless they are AOE skills, it would be a waste to exhaust your mana for a single mob when there are literally thousands of them spawning every minute."

Shura shouted as he took down another mummy. The mummies gave 7-10 dungeon points each, depending on their level difference, which allowed for a faster rate of filling the dungeon points of players.

But as time passed by, the drawbacks of fighting such an absurdly large army started to show. A slight mistake cost a lot of HP for players, frequently diminishing the number of players, which affected the whole of the player army.

The army of players was way smaller than the army of mobs to begin with, and the players dying one by one did nothing to boost the morale of others.

"Get aside."

Iqol, the butcher said in a deep voice, making all the players around him flinch and retreat to the sidelines, not wanting to annoy him.

"Earth Splitter!"

He took out the huge treasure sword that he had gotten in the previous event, as it shined in his hands. A moment later, he slammed the sword directly in front of him where an army of mummies were mindlessly rushing to him.

The ground cracked open with a bang and the whole area started rumbling. All the mummies in front of him either fell into the crack or became disintegrated pieces of sands as soon as the large impact hit them.

Seconds later, the crack closed down like it was never there and other mummies started rushing towards Iqol.

"Tank!"

Iqol shouted and two nearby tanks immediately shielded the assault for him, he give them a quick command and they both gave him a way as he started slashing and stabbing at the mummies.

"What the fuck are you looking at? Do your jobs!"

Iqol shouted at the flabbergasted players behind him and they immediately regained their senses as they started to support Iqol from the back.

Greece.

"I knew he wouldn't disappoint me."

An old man with a white stubble looked at his large television screen, on which Iqol's current gameplay was being shown.

Although the man was clearly old, he looked healthy and his body rejuvenated with incomprehensible strength.

"My student can never turn out to be a bad seed. At least not you."

He said proudly as he took a bite of his chocolate bar.

Quintster Stadium.

|| What in the world are we looking at? Is that really Iqol? Since when did he learn the word 'teamplay'? How is he so good at giving out commands? I am losing my mind. ||

Sam, the commentator, said words that matched everyone else's thoughts. They couldn't believe their eyes. Iqol, the lone wolf and a cold butcher that had been famous for his solo gameplay since the start of Mayhem was actually co-operating with players.

Although his words weren't the nicest, they were on point and guided the players to efficiently attack and defend at the same time.

Just then, a large explosion took place and covered the screens displaying the scene of the fight. Seconds later, people could see that the explosion was clearly in a flower's shape, a chrysanthemum to be precise.

"Lynch?"

Someone from the audience said aloud, still confused.

As the smoke cleared, to no one's surprise, the huge fire was caused by Lynch, the top fire magician in the whole Mayhem.

Two tanks were standing in front of him, protecting him from any surprise mummy attacks.

"I knew it!"

Lynch shouted as he pumped his fist into the air. Although he lost a large part of his mana, the effect of the attack was nothing short of ginormous.

Thousands of mummies were burnt to crisp with a single attack.

"If this really is the inside of a pyramid, it should have been closed off for thousands of years at least."

Bowser said as he looked at the scene of destruction in front of him.

If that really was the case, the air here should be packed tight, and a large explosion like the Chrysanthemum would just grow ten times in size due to dust explosion.

"Fucking brilliant."

Grant shouted out loud. Nobody can deny the fact that Lynch had taken out a large part of the mobs, that too with a single mindful attack.

In other scenarios, such attacks would be considered reckless as there was a 99% chance of getting caught in the crossfire caused due to the chained dust explosion. But the case was different in this scenario.

It was clearly said that PK was not allowed in this location, basically meaning that damage done by a player can't be dealt to other players, himself included. Which meant that the large explosion had no effect on the players, and swiftly cleared out a large portion of the mummies.

Just a few seconds later, the hall which finally started to look empty for a second started to crack at places as hundreds upon hundreds of more mummies came out.

The guy who was responsible for all this was sitting on his throne as his serpent staff kept shining, probably the source of all this menace.

Of course, there were tons of people who knew the answer to end this calamity, they had to either destroy the serpent staff or make him stop using it.

In normal words, it was impossible. He was a being that was level 600 in front of a bunch of level 15 players. The players were nothing more than actual harmless ants to him.

The only way for the players to get out of this situation was to simply keep killing the mummies and hopefully be able to kill a million of them at that.

The players had a huge counter for the total amount of mummies killed on their headbar, and the amount was nothing short of devastating for them.

[All players total kill count: 12,447]

They had only managed to kill 12k mobs, most of which were killed by Lynch's dust explosion.

"Fuck."

"Everyone, use your fire type skills! Fire type skills!"

"Hey, stop using wind attribute skills on them, it's useless."

"Wow, even water type skills work on these fuckers, hahaha! To think I got a bow that deals additional water damage."

"Supporters, keep giving out buffs and heal the injured. Tankers, don't let these fuckers get past your defence. Us close combats will make sure they don't harm you."

And so, all the players morale was at an all time high.

—-Slash!

—-Swing!

Shura slashed and swung his sword around. That was right, he was actually using a sword that he had gotten instead of his usual weapon, daggers.

Not to mention, his sword passed by the mummies as if they were butter. As long as he targeted a mummy, it was a guaranteed one hit KO.

"This is still too slow."

"Hey Lynch bro, can't you do that attack again? These fuckers are again getting rowdy with their numbers."

The only thing about the mummies was that they were mindlessly attacking. Even the ones that had bows and arrows didn't even know how to aim properly as they literally just shot their arrows just about anywhere.

"You guys hold on here, I am going to Lynch for some tips."

Shura said to his team as they looked at him with eyes that said 'don't leave us'.

He still did it anyway.

One good thing about all the players working out together was that they created a solid defensive line, from which they could move around from the behind. Shura quickly found Lynch who was resting after casting a spell.

"Here, take this."

Shura said as he threw a bottle of mana potion to him.

"How the fuck did you?"

"You are not allowed to ask questions when I have my own questions. Now answer me, how does that dust explosion actually work?"

"It's not rocket science, we just need another big attack that can cause a wreck here and throw around dust everywhere, like the one performed by Iqol. In a large yet packed space like this, everywhere the dust reaches, a large enough explosion will follow if you have the right spell."

Lynch explained vaguely and Shura understood the concept behind it.

"Alright, thanks."

"Wai— Argh, well. He's gone."

Lynch tried to stop Shura but he was already running to the other side.

Instead of stopping by his team, he ran straight to the place where Iqol was attacking and defending at the same time.

"Yo dude, so nice to meet you. I am good too, can you perform that attack again?"

Shura said in a single sentence as he patted Iqol's back. Everyone around was terrified and flabbergasted at the same time.

Iqol stared at Shura with eyes that said you're dead meat.

"The skill is still on cooldown, and even if it wasn't, I don't have enough mana to use another such attack."

"You have another attack that can mess up the ground?"

Shura asked and Iqol's face turned weird before he replied.

"Not quite the same, but the effects will be similar, yeah."

"Alright, here. Take this blue serum that I found in an old basement and you should be able to use that skill that you talked about."

"How in the world did you find a mana potio—"

"Blue serum you mean, don't ask questions and do your job, sheesh."

Shura said as he handed over the 'blue serum' to the solo butcher and ran back to his team for backup. All the players, and the audience around the world were flabbergasted at Shura's guts.

From that day onwards, Shura gained a new nickname, 'Balls of Steel'.
