Chapter 1627: The Eyes Open

The blood lake that had submerged House Luolan's headquarters was as black as ink now. The surface of the lake was deathly still and not a single ripple disturbed it. It was almost an unsettling sight.

The Saturnine Hydra Devil King itself was looking through the Devil Heads, finally setting its sights on this barren land.

In the distance, the Ichythian King, the Cadaverous King, and the Demon Witch King trembled in fright. They no longer cared about the attacks from their respective opponents. They retreated swiftly, leaving behind black beams in their wake before prostrating themselves before the heads.

"Greetings, Your Majesty!" The three Other Kings were filled with utmost respect as their quivering voices echoed into the skies.

This caused all of the experts in Xia City to turn pale with fright. In their eyes, the three Other Kings were invincible existences. However, a mere glance from the Saturnine Hydra Devil King had struck fear into them. And their leader wasn’t even present with its true body!

Everyone fell into utter despair. Pang Qianyuan, Li Qingying, and Lan Lingzi had solemn expressions as they looked at the Devil Heads. They knew that the Saturnine Hydra Devil King had sensed the destruction of his summoning platform and had forcefully sent down a strand of its will. However, this proved that the summoning platform was far from complete. This was good news for them.

The three carefully eyed the three Other Kings, making preparations to rush over if they attempted to harm Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e.

"You have already run out of time." The Saturnine Hydra Devil King's voice boomed from the black hole.

"I cannot afford to fail. Since this summoning platform is nearly complete, you shall fill in the gaps."
