“Dark Demon Body…” Xing Yun’s eyes gleamed with humor. “This synergy technique is outstanding. While everyone is still at the early stages, it’s already significantly boosting combat strength. More importantly, the synergy technique’s enhancement of bodily defense has reduced the injury and fatality rate on the border frontlines by two to three percent.”

“That much?” Lin Su blinked.

It seemed the Dark Demon Body was even more effective than he had imagined.

“If they train to greater mastery or perfection, these rates might decrease even further,” Xing Yun’s eyes flashed with envy. “Unfortunately, I can’t maintain the power released by the Black Cloud Stick for long or use it as effortlessly as I’d like, so I’m unable to train in the Dark Demon Body. He suddenly remembered another purpose of his visit.

Clearing his throat, he said, “Instructor, if there were a way for you to gain greater strength, would you…”

“Absolutely!” Xing Yun grabbed Lin Su’s shoulders, “Tell me, what’s the plan?”
