833 The Second Realm I
The serpent shook its head and gave Kyle space as the human stood up to leave. Kyle looked back at it with a calm expression.
"My name is Kyle. If he's alive, I will meet and express my gratitude to the creator of this place, just like Azazeal, for the power of so many laws of nature I gained here when I enter the Celestial Realm."
With that, he disappeared. The serpent blinked and, with a sigh, vanished into the dark depths to sleep.
"They are both similar. Very ungrateful. It seems that when they both ascend to the Celestial Realm, the Celestials are going to suffer. One wants revenge, and another simply wants to reach the top."
Kyle's figure erupted from the water, sending waves crashing against the still surface and creating a mesmerizing ripple effect. The silence in his surroundings was profound—an absolute stillness that seemed to stretch into infinity.
The demon city before the Sea of Consciousness was completely barren, devoid of any living beings. Yet, he could sense the lingering scent of blood in the air. Someone had slaughtered the demons, his mind supplied as he spread his senses and destroyed the souls hiding in the land.
He detected the presence of the phoenix and Jian a short distance away. Instantly, he vanished and reappeared behind them.
They were both seated, half-submerged in the water of the Sea of Consciousness, in a secluded corner surrounded by a shield.
Their faces were etched with concentration, and the vibrant aura of natural laws swirled around their bodies like a breeze."Not bad at all. They have improved."
He spoke, but his voice went unheard. He harnessed the natural laws he had learned, and the clothes on his body transformed into those he thought of in his mind—an elegant gray top paired with trousers.
His eyes traveled to the Sea of Consciousness. Can he really create something similar? He wondered.
Water materialized in the air before him, and he tried to infuse it with the power of natural laws. The different powers collided with each other, and, of course, the water evaporated into thin air. He narrowed his eyes and tried once again. Yet, fire and water were just not compatible.
Ultimately, he tried to pour the essence of the natural laws into the water, and finally, he succeeded. He saturated the water with the essence of all the natural laws he could manipulate, and it stilled the more laws he added. In the end, the water became denser than even the Sea of Consciousness.
"That serpent was right. I can create something better. My understanding of the natural laws has grown powerful. But why do I feel... that I have yet to grasp even a fraction of the countless laws that exist?"
He muttered, and the earth shifted behind him as he sat down to watch Bia and Jian's progress. From the corner of his calm eyes, he saw his own strength.

Kyle closed his eyes with a resonant hum, allowing his Celestial senses to spread out. They extended far and wide, enveloping more than half of the vast universe.
The sheer magnitude of what he was currently doing was dizzying. He knew he could push even further into the vast space, but he chose to hold back, as the sensation was already overwhelming. It was better to get used to it slowly first.
He sensed the people of the dark side, many familiar auras, and even the three supreme-rank shadow generals.
"Oh, Enthrall is underground? What a perfect place to vanish into."
All around him, many were engaged in battle, yet some were living a simple life. A thought emerged in his mind.
A long time ago, in his home where he lived with his father and older brothers, he had once considered living an ordinary life.
"It was because of my bloodline that I lacked motivation, as it aimed to ensure that, as its host, I don't die. However, that idea was not half bad. I will pursue it once I am done with everything—a normal life."
Kyle was about to retrace his senses when he sensed something. His eyes narrowed. Far away, in one corner of the universe, he detected two familiar presences.
"What are they doing?"
He closed his eyes, and with the help of his powerful senses, he observed what the two individuals were up to.
The first thing he perceived was darkness, and in the next moment, he saw Regius's figure in the shadows, cursing someone.
Kyle concentrated, and he finally managed to hear what Regius was saying.
"I told you we can't open that sealed gate! Now we're both going to die because of the dark aura! All because you wanted to help some ancient ancestors we don't even know!"
Kyle blinked. He watched as Alec's fleeing figure trailed behind Regius. Behind the duo, an aura of darkness was closing in.
"Hmm?"
He narrowed his eyes and observed the aura. It was a type of miasma composed of overwhelming dark energy. It was powerful enough to consume an individual's soul the longer they remained in contact.
"How did they find this place, and what sealed gate are they talking about?"
Kyle had mastered the laws of darkness and shadow, so it wasn't difficult for him to halt the dark aura trailing behind Alec and Regius. He could sense Azazeal's presence within the darkness, so he refrained from destroying the aura to avoid alerting him.
The duo stopped running, confused. They were shocked to see that the dark aura had ceased its pursuit. They had been trying to break the seal of the Second Realm for a year now and had even made progress, but this dark aura surrounding the seal always surged to consume them as if it had a will of its own whenever they were close to opening the sealed gate of the realm.
