Celestial Bloodline

Chapter 895: We should stop him!

Chapter 895: We should stop him!

Kyle halted at the boundary of the green mountains after entering the clan gates.

They stood tall, just as he remembered.

Still occupied by the many old Celestials, who were now warily observing him.

Suddenly, a shocked gasp echoed through the mountains, followed by another, then another. He smirked. It seemed many of them had recognized his familiar aura.

Good. That saved him the trouble of introducing himself and wasting time.

Now, he could jump straight into a fight—a perfect way to test his current strength.

Still, the first thing he did was spread his senses to fully envelop the mountains—as if daring the old Celestials to destroy them like they had the day he arrived at the clan. And he would shred them apart in return.

Silver, who had snapped out of her stupor, finally appeared behind him—only to nearly collapse at the sight before her.

“Kyle, stop! Sure, I can tell you are stronger than me now, but that doesn’t mean you can go around doing something this insane!”

Obviously, he didn’t pay her any mind. She tried to drag him away but couldn’t even get close. A powerful, cold barrier shimmered in a ten-meter radius around him, hurling her back each time she tried to approach.

In the end, all she could do was watch the chaos unfold with a horrified expression.

“This crazy guy!!”

All the old Celestials within the mountains flew out, their eyes fixed on the bold young man who seemed intent on starting a war with them. Among them was a woman who had once dismissed Kyle as nothing more than a good seedling discovered by Ares.

Without any word, she lifted her hand and launched one of her most powerful attacks toward him, her gaze cold and merciless.

None of the others moved to stop her.

They merely watched, certain she would crush Kyle without much effort—and that his defeat would serve as a warning about the consequences of challenging them.

Even Ares had to think twice before ever crossing them—so who did this fledgling think he was, trying to intimidate them?

Yet, their eyes widened in shock as Kyle casually sidestepped, letting the powerful attack sail past him. He casually brushed the dust off his shoulder—debris from the destruction behind him—then faced them with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

“Too slow. My turn now, right?”

However, the old woman who had just attacked him snarled in defiance.

“And who decided that?”

Behind Kyle, Silver—who had narrowly survived the devastating attack thanks to being on the other side—went rigid like a statue. Did she… almost die just now?

Immediately, she vanished to a safe distance, then finally let her jaw drop.

“Oh. My. Gosh. He’s awesome!”

The guards and clan members who had gathered due to the commotion instantly nodded in agreement. Realizing what she had just said, Silver’s face turned red.

“Ahem! I mean—we should stop him!”

Of course, everyone shot her side-eyes. They all already knew what she was like—but no one dared to comment. After all, she was snappy, and as the Gatekeeper, she had the power to take the tiny huts they had been assigned in the clan. Worst of all… they couldn’t even complain to Ares about it.

From the crowd, Gvette—the same man who had lost his natural law of fortune to Kyle—edged closer to Silver after being nudged by those eager to place bets.

“Who is that guy, anyway? Someone the Clan Leader brought in to challenge those unreasonable Elders? But didn’t Ares say we should just leave the Elders alone?”

Silver snapped her fan shut with a chuckle, then suddenly turned Gvette’s face with its tip toward the direction where Kyle was.

“Idiot. Don’t you recognize him? You were practically following him around before.”

She sounded like she had recognized him at a glance, which only deepened Gvette’s confusion. Then she added casually.

“That’s Kyle.”

Gvette’s eyes widened.

“What? But the hair and eye color…”

He abruptly covered his mouth as the realization finally dawned on him—and judging by the faint, shocked murmurs behind him, it had hit the others too.

“He was hiding his real appearance!”

Still, the real question was—how?

How had he managed to conceal his true appearance from them when so many of them had been stronger than him before?

And how had he grown this strong when Ares had already told them that he and Cassian were thrown into Hell’s Layer?

But they didn’t have time to find answers—because Kyle, who had been dodging the attacks of one of the old Celestials—who continued to attack him although he had said it was his turn—finally retaliated.

And unlike the old Celestial woman, his attack was devastating. The woman had actually been holding back, careful not to damage the clan’s territory—after all, she was still a part of it. But Kyle had no such reservations. His eyes glowed as he flew upward. With just two words, everything within the golden guardians clan trembled.

“Ice Domain.”

Then, before all the spectators’ eyes, the towering mountains—along with Kyle and every single old Celestial—were swallowed by a huge ice dome that materialized and descended from the sky. As it fell, icy gusts of wind surged in every direction, leaving everyone watching in stunned silence.

Gvette narrowed his eyes.

“Should we go inside the dome? I can’t make out anything from the outside…”

However, those already placing bets on whether Kyle or the old Celestials would win quickly yanked him back. One of them, Gvette’s old friend, chided him sharply.

“Are you insane? What if we end up as collateral damage?? Don’t interfere in battles between powerhouses!”

Another chimed in with a nod.

“Honestly, it’s better this way—Kyle sealed off the area he will be fighting in. At least that will keep the destruction contained.”

Gvette nodded his head absentmindedly—then turned to Silver, who had also joined the betting pool to earn natural crystals.

“Shouldn’t we inform the Clan Leader?”

He was met with unimpressed stares. This was the most thrilling event they had seen in ages—and they finally had the chance to place bets on a battle of this magnitude.

Why would they report it to the Clan Leader and risk him showing up to ruin all the fun?

Instead of Silver, the head guard—who should have been guarding the clan gates but had come inside to watch the show—casually patted Gvette on the shoulder.

“Clan Leader is busy. Let’s not disturb him and just support his judgment… from afar.”

Gvette stared at him blankly.

Indeed, after years of hard work, Ares had filled his clan with just weirdos—each one incredibly skilled, but just a little unhinged.
