Chapter 3299: Live To One's Expectations

*Zush!*

Roan appeared there a moment later, looking around and appreciating the environment. "Finally, a little more silence. They are all gone, right?"

"That they are," Rean nodded.

"That's good." Roan then looked at Kentucky and Rean. "Our next steps are decided. We are going to cultivate now."

"Eh?!" Kentucky obviously didn't like it. "We barely got up here. Shouldn't we go around and learn a little bit more about this place?"

"We already learned everything we needed with our visit to the City Hall," Roan had no intention of doing so, though. "Now, stop finding excuses since we will need your help. Don't forget you are connected to us, so you probably will go through the same reset."

"Shouldn't we get some Divine Stones first?" Rean pondered a bit. He acquired a few of them when he caught those jerks, but he wasn't sure just that would be enough.

Yet, it was at this moment Roan waved his hand, and a huge pile of Divine Stones at Rank Two and Three appeared in front of everyone. "These should be enough.

"This..." Rean and the others were quite surprised. "Where did you get those?"

"Hmph!" Roan didn't just do nothing while Rean worked on the CDs and the swapping of Werdlem Stones.

While Rean and Zangeshu worked on those, Roan took his time to go out on a few occasions, acquiring information regarding the Alchemist Guild in that city. He bought a few of their recipes to learn a little bit more about the Divine Snow World's pills and took the opportunity to make some improvements while at it.

He could change his appearance as he liked, so he took that ability and went to the Alchemist Guild several times, selling his pills, which were obviously much better than the ones available there. In this month and something, Roan's pills became quite a hot topic, and he even found himself being followed a few times after he appeared to sell them.

Of course, it was all for nothing. Roan could enter the Dimensional Realm and leave it where Rean left his exit, which was the hotel. During this month, he requested Rean to come out of the Dimensional Realm a few times exactly for that reason. After all, to use Rean's exit, Rean had to be there outside. Simply put, Roan could appear and disappear as he wished to sell his pills.

Rean didn't ask what Roan was doing, thinking he was probably learning more about the Divine Snow World. He didn't expect Roan to be making more Divine Stones. "And I was supposed to be the one responsible for our finances..."

"Normally, I would say you were just useless," Roan spoke back. "But it wasn't the case this time. You worked on the new CDs with Zangeshu and had to swap all those Werdlem Stones, so I will let that pass. Besides, between my pills and your weapons, I reckon you probably would make a lot more money with them."

Rean felt weird after hearing those words. "Who are you? What did you do to Roan?"

Roan's mouth twitched. "Do you want me to show how my true self can beat the crap of you?"

Rean finally relaxed. "Now, that's more like the Roan I know. In any case, we have the Divine Stones, so that's all that matters."

Rifindio couldn't help but comment. "Just what is this reset you are talking about?" *Zush!*

Suddenly, Zangeshu also appeared, his expression terrible. "This shit Divine Energy Transformation was truly annoying. Master, I finished, so let's go back to work on the new

CDs."

Rean shook his head, though. "I won't be able to join you for a while. In fact, you also will not work on any formations for the next few years. It is about time to cultivate, and there are the resources," Rean said, pointing at the Divine Stones.

Roan, on the other hand, answered Rifindio's question. "Rean, Kentucky, and I will have to reset our cultivation to zero, destroying our dantians and remaking them."

"What?!" Both Rifindio and Zangeshu were taken aback.

"Hey!" Kentucky quickly intervened. "It is still not guaranteed I will need to go through the same process. Maybe our connection isn't that strong. I hope it isn't. No, I'm sure it won't be! Yes! I won't need to cultivate from zero again. First of all, I've never used a Cultivation Technique before."

Ignoring Kentucky's delusions, Roan continued. "Let's just say that our actual cultivation techniques aren't as good as they could be. There is no need to worry, though. I also prepared an upgrade for you."

Then, Roan threw a Jade Slip to Rifindio, which he found to be a cultivation technique for his race. He didn't even need to try to recognize the improvements in that. "This... it looks even better than the last one you gave me."

Back then, Roan did make one technique for Rifindio as he became Kentucky's disciple. When Rean's group was traveling back to the Closal Planet, Roan also worked on refining the Dragon Blood they acquired from the Salamanders. But often, he had to leave the cauldron be, needing little intervention. He used those times to work with Rifindio and make him a cultivation technique as well. One that worked for Camazotz Bats. Now, that is the upgraded version, which he worked on while analyzing Renata's bloodline. Renata had so much more concentration of that bloodline than Rifindio that it made Roan's life many times easier.

As Rifindio read the technique, he reached a point that almost made his jaw drop to the ground. "Re-re-recovering and proliferation of bloodline?!"

Rifindio lost most of his bloodline because of the Abyssal Beast. Even with Kentucky's Regal Bloodline's help, all it did was strengthen Rifindio's little remaining Camaztoz Bloodline, but it did not help Rifindio recover it. They were not the same, after all. This new version, however, could truly help Rifindio increase his bloodline concentration, using his remaining bloodline as a base.

Roan nodded at him. "That Renata was way more useful than you thought. Just don't make me regret wasting time creating this upgraded version. Check with Kentucky from time to time since he is a Regal Demon Beast. He will be able to help you make the best of this technique with his experience. That's something even I can't help you with."

"I'm his master, after all! Hahaha!" Kentucky laughed in delight.

Rifindio closed his hand tightly around the Jade Slip. "I will definitely live up to you guys' expectations."
