Swapping through outfits was quite fun, especially once Lily joined in as well. Finding sets was a bit hard, and they needed to stretch the definition of 'set' more than once to keep up with it but everyone quickly agreed even with concessions it was more amusing to see everyone wearing similar outfits then it would be with everyone just trying on whatever they wanted. However… eventually…
"So this is going to have to be the last one," said Sue. "This has been great but we're about to run out of time in the room and I'm not sure we'd be able to find enough sets for another hour,"
"Oh? Really? I didn't realise how long it had been," said Kat.
"I'm sure we could find something to do for an hour," added Lily.
"Right, I get that… but there's a bunch of other places we can still go in the mall and it might be worth getting something to eat now rather then later on. It's a bit late for it but that just means most of the crowds have already gone, and we can probably skip dinner as well. Unless you guys aren't hungry?" offered Sue.
Kat and Lily could tell neither of them were particularly hungry… but Kamiko might be and Sue probably was? Maybe? Kat shrugged in the end and said, "We can eat,"
Kamiko nodded somewhat uncertainly. "Um… I'll come. Hopefully they have something nice at the food court,"
Sue rolled her eyes, "Yes they do sell jelly there if that's what you really want. I want stop you, it's the frozen yoghurt place that sells it and you're probably going to get ripped off on the price… but you can get it if you want,"
Kamiko just gave Sue a sheepish look but didn't say anything as they all changed out of their last outfits. They'd all picked sort of 'super hero' style costumes. Well, the hero part was the most arguable bit. Kamiko had chosen a somewhat proper ninja outfit with a big flowy scarf, lots of pockets and a fake set of weapons hidden inside. The bright colours hinted that it wasn't meant to remain hidden though. The scarf was pink, the pants were bright blue and the hood, despite covering her face, was red. It didn't exactly go together well but it was something.Kat picked a lucha libre wrestling outfit. This was the 'concession' outfit of the set. Not really on theme but the colourful costume, the cape, and the mask meant it was close enough. Plus there were plenty of comic book heroes that did go along with the theme. Kat could even name one of them if really pressed so it was probably fine. This one was basically a tight suit with netting over her chest that showed it off a bit. Flames ran up along the sides and the pants were bright red. It was horrible garish but Kat was having fun with it.
Lily had turned down Sue's suggestion and instead gone for the most classic look. It was just tights and a cape with a big symbol across the chest in superman colours. Kat decided not to point out just how tight the outfit was because apparently Lily hadn't noticed. Good for her getting a bit of confidence. Besides the cape was huge and didn't resize unlike the rest of the outfits so she'd been using that to hide after she got a bit nervous.
Sue was in the outfit she'd tried to suggest for Lily. Yes it was a catsuit, complete with a fake tail on the back and cat eyed goggles. No Sue couldn't close the zipper, her tits were too large for that. Kat was really starting to think that the resizing enchantments weren't much good. Which was probably the point as it made the outfits more likely to break but Sue seemed to have an understanding of how to keep things lewd and ill-fitting without actually breaking anything. Though how she'd managed to fit her ass into a tight leather catsuit Kat had no idea.
All in all it was a colourful way to end things. They gathered up their clothes, the few extras that had fallen to the ground and threw them all in the to wash bin… except for Kamiko. "Um… do these knives and stuff go in there as well?" Kamiko waved around a kunai to show what she meant.
"I assume so?" said Sue with a frown. "It's what I've always done and I come here often enough for them to complain if it causes issues… I think? I've never really thought of it. Um… let me just duck out to the front and ask,"
Kamiko nodded as Sue dashed off to the front. "What are those made out of anyway?" asked Kat as this was happening.
"I'm not sure," said Kamiko as she wiggled the kunai around showing that it bent as she did so. "It's not metal that's for sure. It might look shiny and slightly metallic but I doubt there was any metal involved at all except maybe in a bit of paint or whatever they use to get this sort of sheen over it?"
Kat shrugged as Sue came back into the room. "Yeah you can throw them in as well. Preferably back in the pockets apparently,"
"That doesn't seem right… but if you asked," said Kamiko with a shrug as she slid the various 'weapons' back into the pockets they'd came from. It was a bit hard with the whole thing folded up but eventually Kamiko finished and then dumped the clothes in the box. Kat wondered what the point of folding them was but didn't say anything.
With everything cleaned up the group left the room, and soon the store. They gave a way to the attendant on the way out and then Sue lead them back to the elevator and down to the food court… or was it up? The elevator made it really hard to tell as transport was near instant and you could barely feel it moving.
Sue lead them off to the side. Apparently the elevators weren't all that close to the food court. They had to go all the way to the end of the floor where the bigger stores usually were. In their place was a big seating area that was about half full at the moment and a large number of tiny shops all selling different foods on offer.
"Where do you recommend?" asked Kat after seeing all the choices. There was just too many to choose from and it was without too much overlap as well. Sure there were some shops that sold a variety of things but most seemed to have that one dish in a dozen variations and a set of drinks.
"Ah you're new… right so see that shop there?" Sue pointed to a store labelled 'Everything Burger' with the slogan 'We will put it between two pieces of bread. Don't tempt us' which was weird as far as slogans went but Kat had seen weirder. The logo was a burger with a whole bunch of stuff shoved into it. Kat could see… rocks, diamonds, meat, cheese and just a whole heap of stuff.
"Yes," said Kat. "Are you suggesting I eat there?"
"No but see the bottom right corner of the sign with those stickers?" asked Sue. Kat glanced over and saw seven shiny tickers and had a bit of an idea where this was going as she nodded. "Right well those stickers are basically a 'This type of demon will probably like the taste of our food'. It's not universal, and mostly just something that gives you an idea… but it does work.
"You'll want to be on the lookout mostly for the boobs sticker though the one that looks like a golden goblet and the other one that looks like two grasping hands are probably fine as well. Taste wise anyway. Even if you don't line up with your sticker they still give a good idea of what's being sold so the system works out quite well," Read exclusive content at My Virtual Library Empire
"Why boobs?" asked Kat with a sigh.
"Well… lust needed something to signify who it was for but thought that the other genitals were a bit much consider it was a food sticker and kids would see it a bunch so boobs were the compromise option," answered Sue.
"I don't… I… you know what. Whatever. Still there's a whole bunch of those stickers over this place, do you have any more specific suggestions?" asked Kat.
Sue glanced at Lily. "Well you could go for one of the sushi places, or at least your girlfriend can," Sue said as she pointed to the two shops that sold it. "She might also like the wrath symbol stuff because they take their meat pretty blood. It's the big punchy fist symbol. Um… for you? I don't know if you've ever expressed a real preference for food… so it makes it sort of hard to suggest something. You know that right?"
Kat gave a sheepish look in return. "Yeah…"
