Noraus gritted his teeth, rallying his flames. His Emperor-Tier Fire Phoenix Bloodline roared to life, engulfing him in a storm of swirling gold and scarlet, a regal plume of fire rising above him. He counterattacked, sending wave after wave of phoenix-shaped flame blasts, but Eterna simply soared through them, weaving with superior grace, her own fire overbearing his at every exchange.

The crowd couldn't believe it.

The Divine Emperor of Death's first daughter wasn't just fending him off. She was suppressing him.
