Drake’s voice reverberated through the skies, his Aura emerging as gigantic, coiling Chinese-like dragon, his massive ethereal eyes gazing down upon the Japanese-looking woman wearing black and red kimono, encompassed by endlessly swirling masses of chaotic spectral darkness, billions of Yokais.

“Hahaha! To think the barbarian desires to address me by my name… Hmm! Perhaps you aren’t as brainless as I imagined? My name is Kimiko Hanna, the Great Witch of Specters!”

“And I am Drake, Dragon King of Yggdrasil.”

“Hmph, I already know your name, lizard. Now it’s time for you and your little group of misfits to die! You will pay dearly for having taken Lord Katsuie Shibata’s life!”

“So that’s why you’re doing what you’re doing? Merely for revenge? You think I would’ve spared him when he conquered a land I had sworn to protect, enslaved its people and turned the rest into monsters? Her Yokai Specters fused into dozens of spectral claws, trying tear the barrier apart, only for Drake and his group to reach her, summoning Celestia, he swung her against the incoming wave of Spectral Darkness, the constructs the woman had created rapidly being split apart by blinding light.

“{Divine Celestial Venerable Swordsmanship}: [Heaven-Splitting Slash]!”

A single slash that cleaved through all, the sorceress saw in disbelief as that single attack decimated her constructs and made them explode into countless particles of light and darkness, one by one, as the wave of holy light reached her.

“That’s the same technique you used against him! You think I have not found a way to counter it, lizard?!”

She grew furious, the Yokai fusing into her arms as she immediately materialized a giant black katana, embedded with accursed crimson runes resembling Kanji, the screams of thousands of spirits echoing from within the sword.

CLAAASH!

Her sword clashed against the attack from Celestia, her darkness suppressing the light from heaven and destroying it, as Drake’s eyes widened lightly, his eyebrows rising.

“Oho, now that’s not bad! I wish we could fight for longer, but we have to end this quickly, I don’t want Yuki to suffer any longer…!”

Drake was amused, but he couldn’t go for longer, as he quickly summoned a second weapon, a spear of blinding silver and white colors, with decorations resembling coiled dragons and draconic wings.

“[Sacred Record Gear]: {Dragoon Spear: Fersefia}!”

At the same time, behind him, a giant spectral and armored draconic knight manifested, its powers infusing themselves into Drake as the Records of Oblivion empowered him even further.

RUMBLE!

His Aura erupted, especially the moment he summoned his Dragoon Knight Archetype, its power alone distorted space, and even time, the embodiment of Records themselves, a being above mortals, and gods.

As Drake powered up, his Ascendancy Law rings manifested behind him, spinning rapidly with the power of both his Divinities and even Demonic and Chaotic Power, as he had used Pandemonium and Chaos’ fragments to form his Ascendancy Law.

In a way, those two, which were victims of the Ancient Gods, now lived forever within him, becoming his strength, while their souls traveled to another place, to reincarnate and have better lives.

“Such power…!” the sorceress was shocked, but she didn’t lose her composure, as her powers manifested even further, thousands of spectral beings rushing towards Drake at once, as she fused them into giant Cursed Spectral Constructs, resembling monstrous beasts or even gigantic, cursed weapons.

“As if I would ever let you get any closer to me, monster!”

As she laughed, Drake smiled, his army rushed forward, dozens of people charging against the incoming monsters by his side, as he swung both his sword Celestia and his spear Fersefia, unleashing slashing attacks through Celestia’s powers, and deadly piercing blows through his Archetype’s Weapon.

His swordsmanship mostly consisted of long-range attacks for the time being, as he focused on reaching as many foes as he could, waves of heavenly light consumed hundreds of specters at once, while his spear pierced through the bodies of tougher cursed constructs.

While fighting, Drake learned of Fersefia’s special ability, capable of rapidly growing longer up to a hundred times, not the same type as growing bigger to fit his body size, as this was a complete and controlled size alteration ability.

So what Drake did was rather simple, he constantly enlarged and then shrank Fersefia! Usually waiting for foes to get closer, he would then enlarge her out of nowhere, unleashing a devastating piercing blow at point blank, impaling several Cursed Spectral Constructs at a time, and then detonating them into several explosions across the dark skies.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Of course, alone this battle would never end, but thanks to his family, Drake was confident he could target the woman alone and leave everything else to them, the safety of the humans beneath their responsibility for the moment, as he focused on the one behind this entire attack.

“While Drake fights her, let’s not disappoint him!” Benladann roared, swinging her powerful axe against her foes, now enhanced with the new armor, the axe had been grown into something akin to giant halberds, which Benladann knew how to wield immediately. Dexterously using them to cleave and slash through her foes, tearing them to shreds one by one, while empowering herself with her draconic-like armor, which channeled her chaotic and ice powers combined, easily letting her go all-out.
