Silver Tower:

Charlotte brought Vincent Carey back to the Silver Tower 20 minutes later. Upon entering the Silver Tower, they came to the lobby.

Charlotte sits on the sofa and asks Vincent Carey to sit on the sofa as well.

She said,” Tell me what happened?”

“Why did you leave the Silver Tower?”

“More importantly, how did you find out the Forbidden Wizard is following you?”

Hearing that calmed my heart down. I looked at her and started to tell.

“I went to the border city to dispose of the white package. Then I felt a sense of crisis out of nowhere.”

“I felt someone was watching me in secret but no one was there. Then I thought it must be someone powerful,” I replied to her.

“Good, your intuition is strong. It’s stronger than I expected. Just like you have felt something wrong with the white package, you have also felt that some powerful wizard is watching you in secret,” Charlotte said to him.

But she didn’t tell me further. She suspects the Forbidden Wizard who is watching Vincent Carey in secret was none other than the Forbidden Wizard Remi.

She knows it’s not the first time. Forbidden Wizard Remi had seen Vincent Carey before. At that time she didn’t take it seriously.

She had thought Remi was upset because of their member Tom Doyle’s defeat. But she thinks it is much more than that now.

She doesn’t want to scare Vincent Carey by telling this. If Wizard Seed knows he was being targeted by a Forbidden Wizard, then he would be scared to death.

Even she finds it hard to believe.

She then said,” Vincent, you should not leave the Silver Tower without my permission. There are still threats surrounding the Silver Tower.”

“Today, I was here to protect you. What if I don’t present here, then who will help you,” She added.

“I understand, my lord,” I replied in a calm tone.

“Okay. You can go back to your room,” Charlotte said.

Hearing that I nodded to her and stood up from the sofa to leave.

Charlotte watches him leave. When he leaves the place. She fell into deep thinking. She is wondering how to solve this problem.

Vincent Carey is an important asset of the Silver Tower. He had also heard what happened between him and Celeste.

If he can make friends with her, then he will get a strong backer apart from her.

Just as she was in her thoughts, someone walked into the place. The person was none other than Forbidden Wizard Erwin.

Upon seeing Lord Charlotte, Erwin asked,” What are you doing here?”

Hearing that Charlotte recovered her thoughts.

She looked at him and said,” I met someone interesting!”

“Oh, what happened?” Erwin uttered before sitting opposite her.

She then told what happened with Vincent Carey.

A few minutes later,

Erwin raised his eyebrows in surprise.

He said,” Why the Forbidden Wizard after him?”

“It doesn’t seem to be the hatred of the Black Tower alone,” Erwin added.

“That’s why I’m going to find out what’s really going on,” Charlotte said.

“What’s with the packages?” Erwin asked.

Charlotte had told him earlier. That’s why he had come here.

“Someone used a magic spell on the delivery person. The outer office didn’t have a clue about it,” Charlotte said.

Hearing that Erwin was surprised. He thinks people are testing the patience of the Silver Tower.

Then he said,” Okay, send me the information. I’ll deal with the white packages issue. You see what’s wrong with the Forbidden Wizard Remi.”

Charlotte said,” Okay.”

Then they spoke about other topics before Erwin left the place. Then she summoned Manager Lara.

Manager Lara comes together with Susan Park. They saw Lord Charlotte return with Vincent Carey sometime ago.

But they didn’t want to disturb their conversation.

“Vincent Carey was able to dispose of the package successfully,” Charlotte said to them.

“Phew!”

Susan Park heaved a sigh of relief. She was worried about Vincent Carey earlier. Now she can put her heart at ease.

“You guys can put the matters of the white packages behind. We forbidden wizards will take care of it.”

“Just report it if you find something dangerous in future,” After saying that, Charlotte left the Silver Tower.

Susan Park and Manager Lara stood there and watched her leave.

Susan then asked,” Why does it sound simple?”

“But we were panicking earlier,” She added.

“I think lords have found out the culprit,” Lara replied.

“But we still have to contact the remaining forces to create awareness,” She added.

Then both returned to the office to resume their work.

Meanwhile,

Inside the room, I entered the bathroom. The bath lasted for 20 minutes. I stepped out and changed into comfortable clothes.

Then I went to bed and lay down. I looked at the ceiling. I couldn’t believe I was able to return safely. My heart was racing faster the whole time.

What was more frustrating? I wasn’t able to use the Gregor Mansion. If I had used the Gregor Mansion, then it would have raised the doubts of the Forbidden Wizards.

Especially, Forbidden Wizard Charlotte thinks that I have strong intuition. But only I know it’s the power of the system.

Nicholson Family:

Jason Nicholson was in his house. He got the updates from Manager Lara and Susan Park. He learned that Vincent Carey was able to dispose of the package.

He then told his father. Rick Nicholson was shocked and then surprised. His eyes flashed with approval.

“That kid has done good things for our family again. He saved our family. I think we can write off the old grudges,” Rick said in a serious tone.

“Hadn’t we done it already?” Jason asked.

“Yes,” Rick replied.

“We will help him if he finds himself in trouble in future,” Rick added.

Jason agreed. It sounds reasonable.

Cox Family:

The same discussion is happening in the Cox Family. Wilfred Cox is grateful for Vincent Carey’s help.

If he hadn’t found something wrong with the packages, a huge destruction would have happened.

The Cox Family Head’s favourable impression towards Vincent Carey increased. He has decided to help Vincent Carey whenever he needs.

Wilfred Cox agreed with his father’s plan.
