In the garden,
Hisha had safely put Alta to sleep in his room and had decided to take a walk around his citadel. He had just begun to get acquainted with the world and was glad for such a privilege to be given such a helpful system.
He had instinctively walked towards the garden and was pleased with the beautiful set up in such a gloomy environment.
Hisha sat on a metal bench staring at the dark clouds, "it's going to rain soon, I presume."
[Very much likely it would]
Exhaling, he stared over at the luxurious bed of grass which was surrounded by thorny bushes and shrubs.
'Who would have thought that the original host would share my love of flowers?' He chuckled in his thoughts.
To the left of the garden, housed exotic flowers and butterflies alike. The rows of flowers fight for their place in the garden.
The bushes and shrubs reach 1m/3ft high, but this is thanks to great care and a lot of effort Hisha had assigned gardeners for the daily work.
"You could all leave," he ordered the three gardeners that cultivated the mature flowers, hurriedly putting them in a vase.
They all bowed before dashing out of the garden.
'Was the original host a tyrant?' Hisha wondered.
He had not said the words in a harsh tone, still, they dashed out after hurriedly carrying out their task.
[There are times he had the tendencies, you could say all thanks to the trustee reports from the tribal chiefs]
'Those old losers?' Hisha rolled his eyes and let out a scoff at the mention.
A couple of messages carved on stones are spread around the garden, offering a glimpse of the best spots.
'A name is carved on that one.' Hisha reported, pointing at the one in front of purple tree bark.
[Dalsa]
HTC read out the name and paused as he processed the information.
[It was said that was the only name you could remember from your childhood and he had been looking for the person who shared striking similarities with the little he could recall]
'That's tricky, how do you find someone you barely remember if anyone can claim to be the said person?' Hisha frowned.
[The original host never gave out the description, he said he could instantly tell from one little detail he had etched in his memory. So whoever claimed to be the female he was looking for would have to meet with his assessment]
'What's that little detail?' Hisha questioned curiously.
[A tulip-shaped birthmark on her nape]
Hisha internally facepalmed, he could now see that they had different reasons why they loved flowers. 'Typical of a lustful immortal.'
[If they didn't meet the requirements as they all do up until now, they could please his troubled heart]
'Troubled? You call that troubled?' Hisha clicked his tongue.
He kicked on some dirt, bored and tired of processing the information that he had acquired.
'The life of the rich and powerful sure is boring.' Hisha thought with regret.
"Vandrik." He mumbled.
HTC had made him understand that Kritz was different from the other beast tribes, he was something much stronger and wild if left without a master to pledge his loyalty to.
The original host had deduced little Kritz's hidden power and had to take him in for Kritz's protection.
[What is going on in that empty head of yours?]
HTC's sing-song voice clouded his thoughts.
'Do you ever get tired of mocking me?' HTC snapped, his grip on the backrest of the chair tightened, so much so that he unintentionally bent the metal.
Pulling his hand away, he stared at the disfigured part of the metal and let out a sigh, there were still a lot of hidden things about Hisha that he was yet to understand.
[Easy on the poor bench, it did nothing to deserve that]
'You deserve everything I would have wished to do if you can materialize into a tangible object!' Hisha hissed in response.
[Would you like to check your stats? There is so much you can do with your time]
Nodding his head, he watched as the translucent screen popped up in front of him.
[Name: Lord Hisha]
[Level: 1000]
[Height: 185cm]
[Position: Supreme Overlord]
[Ability: Replicate]
[Sux: 938/1000]
[Meretrix: 1]
[Points: 0]
[Exp: 56]
[Total number of your harem: 6969]
'How the heck do I get points?' He said in exasperation, slightly triggered by that part being the only null figure.
[You host tournaments, watch as they help you with the simplest of tasks, you need only the strongest of your harem at your side only then can your points reflect]
'That is going to take a while.' Hisha looked down, dejected by the task put before him.
[It might take a while, but it's worth the wait]
HTC tried to be positive.
'What's worth the wait?' Hisha cocked a brow at the translucent window.
The window closed and opened another which showed the inventory section.
Hisha's eyes widened to the number of tools and items he stared at. 'Looks more like a vending machine.'
[Unlike leveling up where you get a random item for every 5th additional level up, points acquired can be used to purchase an item of your choosing]
'Anything of my choice?' Hisha questioned, wanting to get the words straight.
[Anything! Every point earned, a hundred is credited to your point stats]
Hisha rubbed his chin, that sounded much more fun than he had thought. The only downside to the whole setup was the fact that he had to spend his points like he was using money to buy an item at a vending store.
If he was short on points, he would be unable to purchase said item.
'So could I buy a point doubler?' Hisha said just to spite HTC.
[×@#^]
An angry emoji followed right with its mouth covered with bandages and fire around its face.
Hisha stared at the screen, for a second he could understand what was said, it looked to him like HTC had just cursed at him but it automatically censored.
'Was that question too much for you to handle?' Hisha snickered, thinking of the genie logic.
[That just goes against all sensible logic, smart host. It's not bought but rather earned]
Hisha grumbled at the obvious response, even in this world nothing could come in a fairly easier way.
[100 points granted]
[Harem: 6968]
[300 points granted]
[Harem: 6965]
[1100 points granted]
[Harem: 6954]
....
'What the heck?!' Hisha's eyes doubled in size at the numerous notifications popping up all at once.
His eyes glued not on the points he had weirdly acquired but on the dwindling harem.
[600 points granted]
[Harem: 6948]
Getting to his feet in a rush, his heart thumped at the meaning of such notification.
'HTC what the fuck is going on with my harem?'
