Meanwhile, Samuel was lost in thought while returning to their private deck. He didn't show it on his face, but he was shocked when he clashed with so-called 'guards' from the Rockefeller family.
He had seen it before and not in the past but recently, which was why it was so fresh in his head. He refused to acknowledge it, but the similarities were too eerie to ignore.
" Sami, Samuel?" Darren shouted to get his attention. Samuel didn't even notice and was already sitting with a glass of alcohol in his hand.
" Are you okay? Did you get hurt of something?" He asked again.
" Should we get you checked out? We can do this later if you are not feeling it." Emma added.
" I am fine. I was thinking about something." He decided to not worry about it. He could check Clark and his family and allocate his hearing and sensing ability to keep an eye on him for some time. He could feel his ill intent from miles away; as far as he knew, he was still standing at the same spot, yelling and picking up his men.
" Are you worried that he will do something? I will keep Emma safe don't worry about it. Although we have to stay close twenty four seven but I can live with that." Darren said confidently while winking at her.
" Hey, I didn't give you permission to decide that and don't forget who is tolerating who in this relationship. Beside, he was pretty scared, I don't think he will act out after what you did to him." Emma gave Darren an elbow before reassuring Samuel again.
Samuel knew what they were doing and gave them a small smile. He was aware that more minor conflicts could result in a full-blown war. Besides, it was not a big deal, but Samuel added flame to the fire by acting aggressively.
He was sure that his name was enough of a deterrent for Clark to stand down, but now that he publically humiliated him, it was hard to quell the flame. He had to talk to his parents to see what they could do.
" You guys are taking it too lightly. That's Rockefeller that we are talking about. I can see that you are from a wealthy family, but it will be hard for you and your family to escape his wrath. They don't have any good rumors floating around in public." Dhia, who followed them, suddenly said something ominous. She didn't know who these people were and thought they could only get away because one of them knew some martial arts.
" You seem to know an awful lot about this, but I didn't catch your name?" Samuel looked at her. He must have zoned out when she talked, but now that he looked at her, she seemed like a dignified young lady from an influential family.
" You can call me Dhia Rais because my name is too long for strangers to remember. I am here for my studies and been living here for some years now but my family is from Malaysia. Have you heard about Agong?" She was a little hesitant to reveal her identity.
It's not like she saw them as bad people; she had too many instances where people would simply switch on her. Many people would try to take advantage of her, and she had been burned too many times.
" Not another princess!?" Samuel sighed. He already guessed her identity when she mentioned Agong. He immediately got reminded about Sybilla, who was still leeching off him!
" Another?"
" Ignore him. Can you elaborate?" Emma didn't know what was happening in Samuel's head, but he acted erratic today. She was simply curious about whom she saved unintentionally.
"I am the second daughter of the king of Malaysia but you don't have to go out of your way to address me as such. I prefer if you treat me like normal person. I recently came back to complete my masters degree but I practically lived in England since I was ten." Dhia added and looked at their reactions.
" Oh, I don't know Malaysia still had a king. I didn't expect to meet someone like you today!" Emma was a little excited.
" It's not official but it exists." Dhia was embarrassed. She had seen every Harry Potter movie up to this point, and talking with Emma touched the fan inside of her.
" Great, It's not everyday you meet a princess." Darren added and poured her some wine.
" Can we start drinking already? We need more bottles here!" Samuel shouted.
The waiter immediately pulled out his best collection; he cited that the club wanted to compensate Samuel for the trouble. Basically, they were aware of the fight but refused to interfere for fear of upsetting either of them. It was a lose-lose situation for them, so they kept their mouth shut throughout the whole thing.
The most surprised was Dhia; her identity was simply brushed off after a few exchanges. It hardly bothered any of them. At first, she was enamored with Emma, but now it was beginning to sink in that she didn't know the two men accompanying her.
They kept emptying glass after glass for the next half an hour, with Samuel as their lead, as Emma slowly revealed Dhia's identity. Being shocked would be an understatement; she never thought her impulsive visit to the club would lead her to meet a legendary figure in business!
After chatting for a few more minutes, Samuel walked out with an excuse he needed to do one more thing.

...
After thirty minutes, Clark Rockefeller walked out of the bathroom with a comfortable smile on his face. As for Avery, she was now collapsed on the bathroom floor with tragic scars on her body.
While sobbing, she tidied up her clothes. She never thought that whom she wanted to worship turned out to be the devil himself and didn't even consider her a human being.
Clark vented all his anger on her, and now she felt like she was inferior to cheap whores she used to laugh at on the night streets. Wiping away her tears, she endured the pain as she stood up. She looked around and saw there was not a single person outside.
Even the companions that used to follow her were gone and abandoned her without a care. The tears she struggled so hard to control started flowing again; she wanted to leave, but looking at the luxurious place playing bouncy music stirred strange emotions in her heart.
It's always been her dream to chase riches, if she left now, maybe she would never have the opportunity to take foot in a place like this in her life. She couldn't take the first step and looked at others passing her with hollow eyes.
Gritting her teeth, she walked in the opposite direction of the exit when someone crossed her path. It was Samuel who was looking at her with expressionless eyes.
" Are you looking down on me too?" She screamed. Samuel took her hand and shoved her inside the bathroom again, making her relive the prior moments that immediately struck her with fear.
" Do I have to when you seem to do it yourself? Tell me you like to be a plaything for the rich?" He asked directly, which changed her face again to fury. She was ready to lunge at Samuel to scratch that smug look on his face, but she found out he was looking at her with pity.
" What do you know!? Do you even know how I get into this fucking shit!? How hard do I have to work? How can you know about my struggles? Don't you dare look at me with those fucking eyes!" She went insane and started screaming and berating Samuel at the top of her lungs.
She didn't care, why should she? She viewed Samuel as part of the same problem. Who's to say he was not as sick as Clark?
Samuel didn't care and simply walked toward her. She tried to back away, but he pulled her in his arms and hugged her tightly while she struggled, hitting him several times with her legs and feet. She finally understood what he was doing, and her body went limp. After which she started crying, it turned from sobbing to full-blown ugly crying.
Samuel kept holding her as she poured her heart out, blabbering about her harrowing experience. Samuel tried to keep himself together while he heard her accounts; he was ready to tear his body apart but knew it was not the time. If Rockefeller were genuinely connected to the shadowy organization, he would paint their houses with their own blood in the future.
" C-can I d-do it ?" She was barely able to formulate the question.
" Yes. Go and don't turn back, there will be people waiting for you to take you wherever you want." He patted her head. She looked filthy after getting tossed around in the bathroom, but for Samuel, it was the first time he had seen her glow. He could feel her heart calming down, and dark thoughts that permeated her mind began settling.
" Thank you." She gave him a genuine smile and walked out of the club without looking back. Samuel didn't know what would happen to her, but at least her mind was in the right place. He tidied up his clothes and walked back to the upper decks.
