I'll Surpass The MC

Chapter 1002: Spirit Refiner

Chapter 1002: Spirit Refiner

“I refuse to accept your existence. You’re unneeded on Sumatra.”

The Zinger Princess, Rhonya’s words made Inala reconsider everything he had been through, “I’m unneeded?”

“Then what?” There was a small warp in his expression as Inala raised his voice, “Am I supposed to just roll over and die? Because what? You find my existence unpleasant?”

“Yes,” A pause later, Rhonya said, flinching upon seeing Inala’s presence flare up in response. She maintained her composure and shouted, “We have so much to prepare for the continental invasion. The level of enemies we’ll be encountering would be unlike anything.”

“The Royal Zinger is a necessity.” She roared, “After birth, our Deity has to steadily accumulate enough power to be ready. But because of you, that cannot happen.”

“Do you imply we need to wait for the Royal Zinger’s arrival until the enemy is right at our doorstep?” She shouted, “Is that what you want?”

“Hahahaha!” Inala burst into laughter, amused, but not in a fun way. The more he laughed, the more his eyes remained calm, uncannily so, focused on their glare, “You know…even in my last moments before, I was looking out for the Quip Clan’s future.”

“Turnip…Flight…an most of all…” Inala counted with his fingers, pointing the third finger at her, “The Mystic Grade Major Treasure of Serpentine Nature Bank…”

“The Quip Clan only need to focus on purifying and separating Serpentine Nature Bank in its molten state, which I have already turned it into. Just purify it, and you’ll obtain the Major Treasures of Lunchbox, Mystic Eater, and Incident Nature Reflection.” As Inala spoke, his voice turned colder and colder.

His left hand turned into Millanir and gained the effect of a Secondary Nature, turning into a tiny Tangible Millinger. His right hand remained as Rutham, but suddenly, Prana continued to gather in it. “You know…if even with five of the best Major Treasures, the Quip Clan still feels lacking to fight an enemy,”

His ten-storey Storage Lantern reverted to its actual size as the Major Treasure of Weapon sent a clump of Prana into one of its compartments and gained a Vara Spirit Weapon. It was the Celestial Boar’s Vara as Inala let out a faint sigh, shaking his head, “I’m afraid the Quip Clan isn’t worth it.”

“What?” Rhonya was stunned to see Inala’s presence continue to climb without limits. She couldn’t fully analyse the situation and spontaneously stitched a circuit on her wings, which allowed her to create a string of Prana that pulled her out of the crater.

Once she had distanced herself, she threw an Inhibition Bomb towards Inala, watching the latter pull out a bunch of thumb-sized Silver Biome Bombs and absorb the Prana they funnelled into him.

The spike in presence stabilised as Inala extended his left hand forward. Prana gathered into it, surging with power after being boosted with Rutham’s psychokinesis. It then circulated into the right hand.

At this moment, there was another surge, as through the Major Treasure of Weapon, which had created a Vara Spirit Weapon, there was a stacked influence.

The Tangible Millinger formed by his left hand was absorbed into the Vara Spirit Weapon. It turned unstable, as a peerless power accumulated within it. All the Silver Biome Bombs shattered as all their stored Prana funnelled into Inala’s Spirit Container and made their way to the Vara Spirit Weapon.

Inala condensed his Billakin Hammer, grabbed the shaft with his mouth, and slammed it into the Vara Spirit Weapon with force.

Primary Nature—Spirit Smith!

It was the Primary Nature someone with a Billakin Human Avatar gained. With it being the natural mineral a Brully could produce, Inala had experimented with it over the years, especially armed with the Skill of Secondary Refinement.

That resulted in the birth of the effect of a Secondary Nature in the Billakin Spirit Weapon, whose effect Inala derived from the refining capabilities of Mystic Kinesis Art on Spirit Weapons and Mystic Sumatra Art on the bodies and genetics of Pranic Beasts.

Secondary Nature—Spirit Refiner!

Spirit Refiner embodied Mystic Sumatra Art’s concept of accumulating the genetics of a Pranic Beast in its bloodline and keep improving its genetics until the maximum possible extent of perfect genetic makeup. Yarsha Zahara obviously derived this train from Gold Kinesis Art’s capability to refine and elevate Spirit Weapons.

Unless the cultivation technique used by a Free Human with a Billakin Human Avatar was closely derived from this characteristic, they cannot obtain this Secondary Nature. For now, it was exclusive for the Brully Race that also employed the use of Mystic Sumatra Art.

Spirit Refiner allowed the Brully to refine the Spirit Weapon forming its hands and elevate its Grade, similar to what Mystic Kinesis Art does. Of course, it was only applicable to minerals that could be refined into higher Grades, such as Kirenal and Zarzelite.

Rutham was already the maximum possible refinement state Kirenal could reach. So, Spirit Smith didn’t seem useful in this regard. However, Inala’s target wasn’t his Rutham right arm, but the Vara Spirit Weapon.

Primary Nature—Blessed Inheritance!

This was the Primary Nature a Free Human obtained after building a Human Avatar out of the Vara sourced from a Celestial Boar. However, this Vara was actually similar to Kirenal in that it was unrefined.

After all, the Vara sourced from the Empyrean Boar King was already capable of granting the Primary Nature of Blessed Influence. It didn’t make sense that even the Celestial Boar’s Vara granted the same.

The reason was simple: The Celestial Boar’s Vara could be refined further.

This was why Inala sought to obtain it from KalTara back at the Varahan Enclave. Because he had an inkling it could be refined further, actually past the Gold Grade. It turned extremely unstable, though, and couldn’t exist for more than a short duration without requiring a piece of Sumatra Gold to stabilise it.

But as long as the emulated effect was reached, unstable or not, Inala was satisfied. And in this state, the effect of an eerily scary Nature was born in the Vara Spirit Weapon as its Primary Nature of Blessed Influence changed.

Primary Nature—Voracious Cultivator!

The Vara Spirit Weapon existed for less than a second and then vaporised, producing a powerful explosion that Inala directed at the Inhibition Bomb and sent it flying away.

“Hah!” He exhaled a long breath as Inala lay in the centre of a crater, riddled with deep gashes. His wounds healed as Inala regrew his left hand. It was a normal Brully hand now, since the Tangible Millinger had exploded.

In the fraction of a second where the Vara Spirit Weapon had the effect of Voracious Cultivator, the Tangible Millinger stored in it was subjected to that effect.

Using Mystic Sumatra Art, Inala used the Prana forming it to imprint that characteristic on his blood. And now that the Vara Spirit Weapon had exploded, he simply circulated his blood through his body, ensuring his Rutham right hand was the only Spirit Weapon he had.

Mystic Sumatra Art imprinted the respective characteristic on his Prana as it circulated through his body and then flowed into his right hand. His Rutham right hand absorbed that Prana, including the characteristic traces present in it.

Once this happened, Inala hammered it with his Billakin Hammer, using the effect of Spirit Refiner, which could finally take effect now.

When a Brimgan Royal reached the 10-Life Stage, whatever characteristics were carried by their Prana, which came about through the influence they endured, Mystic Kinesis Art refined their Spirit Weapons using it.

That completely influenced the Minor Treasure they created.

Boul Brimgan explored the Ravaged Federation and rampaged around the place, consuming everything that could influence him and cause his Prana to carry traces of various Ravaged Tribesman characteristics, including the effects of Nectar.

After basically consuming everything of value in the Ravaged Federation, Boul Brimgan birthed the Minor Treasure of Kinesis Felines, which had strategic value.

The Brimgan Founder had created this build in hopes that such a thing would become a reality. His successors built and improved upon the idea to finally result in a complete build for the Brimgan Royals.

Whether it be Brimgan, Kanka, Torq, or Mikhakatakha, they all lived and excelled during the Brully Invasion and had made plans by taking advantage of the properties of the Brully Race.

Kanka used the Billakin sourced from the Brully Race to build his Human Avatar. Brimgan too gained inspiration from Billakin’s properties and figured out a way to refine Kirenal into Rutham. That resulted in the birth of Gold Kinesis Art.

Similarly, Torq was also inspired by the same, which was how he designed the Ravaged Federation and resulted in the creation of Nectar. They all took inspiration from each other, and especially from their enemy, the Brully Race.

Their thoughts were compatible, which was how Boul Brimgan was able to take advantage of the Ravaged Federation to complete his build. He didn’t know the relationship his founder had with the creator of the Ravaged Federation.

But Inala knew, which was why he selected the Brully Race, part from its many other reasons. Most of all, during the Fourth Major Disaster, in the Seat of Transcendence’s Influenced Region of Transcended Plane, Inala’s Brully build would allow him to gain benefits similar to what Boul Brimgan gained from the Ravaged Federation.

And now, using all these shared resources, Inala mimicked the characteristics a Brimgan Royal at the 10-Life Stage applied on their Prana while refining their Spirit Weapon into a Minor Treasure. Thanks to the Vara Spirit Weapon, Inala was able to capture a trace of that, which he added to his right hand.

He then stared at the figure of Rhonya who stood outside the crater, and groaned, “This is still incomplete, but I can use it for a short duration.”

“See it for yourself.” He said as his Rutham right hand morphed in shape, partially assuming the face of a Millinger, “If I am unneeded on Sumatra.”
