Chapter 3785: The Tug of Fold Dwellers II
Master of Existence.
It seemed more like a title than the distinction of the stage above Primarchy, but it was there.
And Thauron was one such being…before being jailed.
And…
Absolute Fictional Transcendence is being placed under great strain with the convergence of multiple Fables.
Oh?
I looked within the depths of my being that told of my own Fable.
The Authority was buzzing with possibilities as it continued.
Absolute Fictional Transcendence has been elevated from the rise of the True Sources that support it, and deems it necessary to continue narrating your Fable under your supervision, but incorporating Differential Fabled Viewpoint to constantly be aware of other Viewpoints. You will be able to obtain limited information at all times, and if your understanding of certain entities become high enough, they can be Bookmarked for more possibilities.
…!
Shall the Fable continue?
A question was asked of my own existence.
I looked all around me.
At the complex entities whose Fables sought to interact and conflict with mine.
If the elevated authority of Absolute Fictional Transcendence could exceed its current wonders while giving me understanding of others, even in a limited sense…I had no issue relinquishing the narrative.
So.
‘Go all out.’
I gave my permission.
And…
The Fable will commence.
HUUM!
—
The shattered Null Cradle of Fold-Breaking Ascension was anything but silent.
The buzzing of authority weaved all around as Noah turned towards Master Shen and nodded.
“To the Veiled Sunfolds it is then.”
…!
A choice was made.
Master Shen smiled brilliantly while taking another gulp from his gourd.
Noah stood on the fractured remains of what had once been one of the grandest Wonders of the Folds. Shattered lattices flickered faintly beneath his feet, echoes of infinite compression humming low like a chorus that had forgotten its own tune.
Ahead, the Paradoxical End Platform hung tilted in broken suspension, its swirling weavings undone, reduced to dead light.
He hadn’t even set foot on it.
Not once.
And yet… it was decimated by a single Living Collapse.
His gaze lingered on the fragments for a long moment, the gears behind his eyes quiet.
This was the weight of their existence- those who had shed their narratives and become paradox incarnate. Foldless Ones. Living Paradoxes. Entities not bound by cause or effect, death or fate.
What they invited- what he invited just by doing something similar to the Foldless Ones was this heavy.
So this was the scale of power he had to one day stand against.
Master Shen appeared beside him in the space between the seconds, the gourd of endless drink hanging lazily from two fingers, his white-gold robe rippling with light and unbothered swagger.
“Young Paradox,” Master Shen said, voice laced with bemusement. “You’re looking at this place like someone who just missed something big.”
Noah didn’t deny it. He said nothing.
Shen chuckled anyway.
“It was a unique Paradoxical Wonder that even I didn’t get to visit until now,” the Master of Existence continued, tilting his head toward the broken Wheel. “A shame, yes. But chin up, Young Paradox. The Veiled Sunfolds have something quite close to it. An Origin Wonder.”
…Oh?
Noah turned, a brow lifting. Not in surprise. Not quite. But with interest.
The Null Cradle of Fold-Breaking Ascension was a Paradoxical Wonder. There were other Wonders out there, and the Veiled Sunfolds actually held an Origin Wonder?
It may further make the trip worth it to observe the Fold Dwellers of the Veiled Sunfolds.
Shen smiled, sharp and brilliant, his aura blooming outward in tendrils of white-gold brilliance that licked the edges of the shattered platform without disturbing it.
“You see, I’m in the mood to talk today,” Master Shen went on, clearly pleased with himself. “Might’ve been the wine. Or maybe it’s because you’re a bit more unique than most of the little monsters roaming the Folds these days as the old fogeys told me to bring you back. So I’ll entertain you, Young Paradox… if you don’t bore me.”
Noah gave a small incline of his head, but the subtle flicker of amusement in his eyes didn’t go unnoticed by Shen.
“But first,” Shen added, straightening as his expression shifted from lazy to crisp in the space of a breath. “We have to leave. Seems like the children here couldn’t help but run and cry to their elders. Some Masters are coming. Not quite on my level..”
He squinted. “…but they’re nosy enough to ruin the mood.”
Noah’s eyes swept the battlefield once more.
The Primarchs of the Mannafolds and Chronosect hadn’t even needed to speak aloud.
Their irritation at Shen’s sudden arrival, and his effortless defeat of the Living Collapse, was written in their silence.
They were already calling for reinforcements.
Noah didn’t fear them.
But he did hate delays.
So he nodded once and turned slightly toward the distant figure still lingering at the edge of the broken Cradle.
Thauron.
Eyes like collapsing voids met his.
Noah offered him a single nod. Cold and calculated. Not farewell- but acknowledgment.
And then, he turned away.
“Sure,” he said simply. “Let’s go.”
Master Shen beamed. “Now that’s the spirit.”
He raised the gourd like a toast to no one in particular and gave it a single flick.
White-gold light burst outward, soft and engulfing, threading around Noah’s frame like a gentle net. Kalysta, already waiting nearby, stepped closer. The Solstice Veils followed with quiet grace, their expressions unreadable.
And then…
The light deepened.
It folded inward.
And with a soft pulse that echoed like the heartbeat of a quiet celestial, they vanished.
Leaving behind the ruins of a shattered cradle.
And the ghosts of power still clinging to it.
“…”
“Fuck!”
A Time Elderking cursed at such a reality as that was an anomaly that had caused a Living Collapse to chase after it!
Now that it was gone, taken by the Veiled Sunfolds, wouldn’t their people have just gained an extremely unique piece that connected directly to the Living Paradoxes, the Foldless Ones?
And-
“You didn’t curse when I was here, why are you cursing when I am gone, you fucker?”
…!
A sharp voice of none other than Master Shen echoed out, and illusory white gold form of his appearing above as he tapped out with his gourd.
BOOM!
The Time Elderking let out a cry as tens of thousands of Existential Dimensional Lattices gathered around him, but they did absolutely nothing as he was slapped down until he smashed onto the broken Platform before.
“Let this be a warnings to you and those slightly more powerful than you who may come. The Veiled Sunfolds invited I, Master Shen, to be one of their Masters. So long as I am there, your other Masters better think twice before fucking around, okay? None of you better think of using or wanting this Young Paradox I will be putting under my protection, or…well, I will leave that upto your imagination.”
WAA!
His warning echoed out heavily as the faces of many Fold Dwellers became ashen!
