Chapter 1014: 1014 Now The Rest

Once dinner was finished, the Demons began to argue quietly about where they should go for the evening. They all claimed different territories around the country, and the final debate was down to the one who claimed the oceanfront village as part of their protectorate, and the Incubus whose territory held the first power plant that they would be going to in the morning.

Finally, the decision was made that they would go to the Incubus’ home, as it was better adapted to larger groups of various body sizes. He was an Incubus, after all, and they always expected to have visitors, it was just an essential part of their life, as much as food or water.

The house was newly built, and the sod on the lawn was still taking root, as it had been laid too late in the summer to really set.

That would change in the morning as the Witches began their work and started to cast their charms over the country. This location was nearly in the middle of the country, but from here, they could make a nice loop around the power plants and end up in the Capital to make a public appearance before heading home.

The loop would be perfect for the Witches, as they would cover every arable section of the country, enchanting the fields, and they wouldn’t have to double back to fill in portions that they missed.

Wolfe had considered doing it all as one huge spell, but the core would have to be placed somewhere, and the mana in Gormana wasn’t nearly as dense as it was in Forest Grove, though it was already much thicker than it had been before the Guardians arrived.

They split up into their respective rooms, and the other Guardians tried not to laugh as the Incubus managed to find two of his female employees roughly the same build as Cassie and Ella to take to bed with him for the evening.

Cassie looked a bit disturbed, but Ella was smirking as she closed the bedroom door and activated the soundproofing spell.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? He’s an Incubus, so he’s likely wondering if there is some special quality to this particular combination.” She joked.

Cassie spun her braid in her hand, then ran her fingers through Ella’s short blue pixie cut.

“We should tell him that it doesn’t work without the proper combination of expressed genes and see how long it takes him to find someone with natural blue hair outside of Morgana Coven.” Cassie teased.

“He might go insane trying. Gem eyes are easy enough to find when you’ve got powerful witches, but only a small group of us have matching hair that isn’t dyed.”

Wolfe laughed as he settled back into the bed, then frowned and enchanted it. He realized that he was indeed spoiled with luxury at home, he couldn’t even sleep properly on a high-quality mattress anymore.

This bed was up to Incubus quality standards, which were always very meticulous when it came to bedding, but still, it was lacking compared to the magical beds at home. How he had ever survived sleeping on the floor of a bunker was beyond him.

It wasn’t even a year ago, but it felt like a lifetime.

The next morning they were all up early, treated to a full Incubus Kingdom breakfast, and off with the sunrise so they could get through the remaining power plants in one day.

“We will be phoning ahead, so security knows that we are coming, and we don’t need to go inside. I believe that your sensory magic can see through the walls easily enough, as the plants aren’t enchanted in any way, so we will just fly over them all and let you work.” Hassan, the Incubus, explained.

“That would be perfect. The witches will be enchanting the farmlands with a Garden Charm, and then I will give the regional cores to their respective Guardians. Keep them safe somewhere in your territory, and we will finish the terms of both agreements in one day.” Wolfe explained.

“Oh, that is perfect. Can we do the one for this region right now, so I can put it in the treasure room before we leave?” Hassan asked.

“What does an Incubus even keep in a treasure room? From what I understand, the Incubus Kingdom cares very little for personal possessions, and more for group luxuries.” Ella asked.

Hassan laughed. “It has the protective spells for the building and all the potions and tools that I have purchased for the people but haven’t distributed yet. There was no better place to stockpile healing potions than right in my own home. At least here, I know that they won’t be stolen, since I bought a Kind Intentions Spell from Saint Noxus a month ago.”

Ella smirked at the Incubus. “I bet that’s a great selling point for the ladies. Kind Intentions spell on the house, so they know that no matter how wild it gets, they won’t be seriously harmed. The ultimate goodwill gesture for a Lust Demon.”

Hassan looked like he had just received a divine revelation. “I bought it just in case a jilted ex lover decided to come stab me in my sleep, but that is brilliant. Why did I never think of a pickup line so obvious and beautiful? You, my dear, are the most amazing Witch ever!”

Ella laughed and rolled her eyes at the dramatic Incubus, then gestured outside. “It’s easier to do the enchantment over a large area from the air. We will fly up and cast it, then give you the core to put away before we leave.

Then we will do the same when we reach every other Guardian’s territory, and the cores can be passed down to the next generation when you step down from your duties one day.”

“Ooh, does that mean it will be gold? Gold lasts forever. Can it be a sexy statue of me, so I can put it in the foyer?” Hassan asked excitedly.

Galrog thumped the Incubus on the head. “If I have to look at a golden statue of you with your dick out every time I walk into the house, someone is going to get their maximum anal circumference forcibly checked, and it won’t be me.”
