Chapter 1100: 1100 Sent and Sorted

After that, the human nations of the East Coast seemed rather uneventful. A dozen letters dropped with secretaries or in Parliament rooms, none of which had any objection to attending.

So, the invitations were sent out without any issues, and they just needed to get the actual party set up so that the guests had something fancy to see once they arrived.

“What are we going to do about the living arrangements. You had a good point when you said that even with your aura restrained, it’s a bit uncomfortable for the average person if you’re living in the heart of the city. Not just from the pressure, but from the mana density that you need to feel comfortable, and the presence of so many ranking Nobles and other nations’ leaders.

We can’t have the whole city stressing about that level of outside scrutiny all the time, it’s like they’re part of the Noxus leadership by proxy, and they aren’t our servants.” Cassie complained.

“Why don’t we make an alternate location? There is plenty of unclaimed real estate here in the Frozen Wastes, there is no reason that we can’t set up a separate location for us to stay, linked to the city with portals so we can come and go as we please without being always present.” Wolfe suggested.

“So, an actual Noxus Castle for the Noxus King?” Ella laughed.

Wolfe shrugged. “Well, I don’t see why not. I could terraform a mountain into a proper castle for us, get a nice view for visitors, plenty of space to work and hold private meetings.

It would also allow us to actually relax with our auras unrestrained, which will help with growth. There are still two new Pentacles that aren’t all the way up to the Saint Rank, and eventually, everyone will be at Rank Eight, so it will be much less stressful for everyone.”

The Pentacle members looked around at each other and considered the proposition. It was already becoming annoying to have so many people bothering them about little things everywhere that they went.

They were leaders, but Forest Grove was a small city, so it wasn’t like they could escape from their positions and just relax.

Having a bit of distance between them and the city would allow them to take actual days off.

Drazzit smiled at the thought.

“Can we build it into the mountain so that we don’t lose all this wonderful darkness? Being out of the sunlight and deep underground is so much better. I know many of you are surface dwellers, but at least for me, and likely for Monika and the other Dwarves, underground is best.” She suggested.

“Alright, we can work on adding underground levels to the new location, the same as we did here. Does anyone have a specific spot in mind? I’m thinking the next mountain over from the airbase, as I know it’s empty, thanks to the records in the Lumix Family house that the airbase was built in the backyard of.” Wolfe offered.

“I almost forgot that the Lumix House was there. Do you think that there could be Lumix Family members still living?” Cassie asked.

“I know that there is. There are some in Morgana Fortress City, and likely even some in Forest Grove. Once they reach Rank Three, they can open the doors on their own and go visit the ancestral home.

If there are none that are going to visit soon, I will bring them, but that’s a concern for later. Right now, I think it’s more important that we let Forest Grove actually relax for a while instead of burdening them with the demands of hosting us.

We can set up the coronation party in the new location, and invite people to come and visit.

We should likely hire staff there as well, so that we can continue our full-service lifestyle, and keep the visitors entertained. Just a basic staff to keep things clean and visitors fed.” Wolfe insisted.

Ella smirked. “You have had it too good, Mister Wolfe. You’re turning into a real King, spoiled and looking to be waited on by a harem of beautiful women.”

Wolfe winked at her. “I can’t say that you’re wrong. But that’s not the only motivation. Soon, we will have little ones running around the palace as well, and someone will have to keep them out of trouble while we’re all busy with work.”

“Alright, what are we going to do about the new location? I guess a mountain works as well as anything for the actual spot, but architecture wise, how will we design it? Traditional? A mix of cultures?” Cassie asked.

“I vote that we go full on antique castle, with walls, towers, crenellations, and everything.” Nola suggested.

“I didn’t expect that from a Nymph. I know you aren’t the most forest of Fae, but a full on castle?” Wolfe asked.

Nola sighed. “Isn’t it dreamy? The beautiful princess waiting in a tower for her charming prince to come ravage her, brutally take her innocence on every piece of furniture in the room and then leave her waiting for him to return?”

The ladies laughed, and Cassie shook her head.

“Who would have thought that the Nymph would be into that sort of romance story?”

Nola giggled. “Who said it was a story? I one hundred percent want for that to happen to me. Especially the ravaged everywhere in a tower part. I’ve been single for my entire life, and a Nymph has needs.”

She winked at Wolfe, and Cassie sighed. “We will discuss that later. But perhaps we could bring in some male staff. You know, big muscles, tight shirts, calling everyone Miss and My Lady.”

The human girls blushed at that, and looked more than a bit scandalized by the way that the Witch was talking in front of King Wolfe.

Wolfe chuckled at their expressions. “You get used to it. All of these Witches have been in my bed at one point to help build their power, so we don’t really have too many inhibitions or secrets from each other anymore.”
