An old mansion quietly standing in the grounds of the Royal Grandfelt Special Grade Magic Academy. In one of the rooms, Professor Tiarietta Lucianell was sitting on the sofa and conversing through the plate-like wards floating in the void.

The other party is a girl wearing a white mask.

”I’m sorry to say that the mastermind of the King’s Capital Disturbance Incident — the ‘Bloodless Fourth Day Fear’ has yet to be identified.”

“Br–what? What?”

“I’ll just leave that to Shiva. I’m sure that he’s aware of the situation and is working on it.”

“Uh, um … yeah … yeah.”

Professor Tia glanced to the side. This way… don’t look at me.

”From now on, we will be focusing on confronting the underground student council that is active in the campus. We’d like to ask Professor Tia to help us out as well, okay?”

“Huh? Oh, yeah, that’s fine. I mean, I’m your… um… what was it? I think it was Beobahata. And am I correct in assuming that I have officially joined rather than provisionally?”

“We’ve chosen to call it Camelot. But unfortunately, there are still some internal objections. I’m sorry, but it was beyond my control, so I’ve decided not to reveal my true identity.”

“No, I’ll wait patiently, but…”

Professor Tia smiled in a disgusting, bitter smile.

Shortly thereafter.

“Charlotte? Are you in your room?”

Another voice came from the communication wards.

”Huh? Ha, mother-sama, wait, please!”

The white mask wandered and panicked. It’s like an anonymous YouTubers identity distribution accident.

”Did you hear that?”

“…nothing.”

“Yeah, right! Oh good. Anyway, I’ll get back to the rest of the story. Now if you’ll excuse me!”

When the communication was cut off with a plop, Professor Tia turned to me… with a drawn-out smile.

”To tell you the truth, I had an idea who she was. I mean, she’s smiling too much in many ways! So, don’t turn me off!”

“He’s usually aloof, but when he gets up to speed, he throws straight to the point.”

“I’m in Black Warrior Shiva Mode, by the way.”

“There’s only one of you, by the way. You’re the only one that I know of. There’s also a conundrum that I can’t seem to solve, and it’s a poor guess at less than 10% accuracy.”

“Hmm. They’ve already figured that out. I’m not in any trouble. He seems to be very tight-lipped.”

“Anyway, unlike your white-masked friends, Charlotte, you think you can handle me, don’t you? I was interrupted by a sudden communication, but hmmm… “Demon God” and “Majin”. Ha-ha, isn’t that a little too grandiose for you?”

“Do you know anything about this?”

“In conclusion, I know that it’s on the level of those who know it. That’s not my interpretation, though. I guess what’s right is ‘who knows’.”

“You see? Mythologists agree that the ‘demon gods’ are the ancient gods that have ‘fallen’ and are ruled by the destruction and slaughter of the world. However, I have a different interpretation.”

Professor Tia stood up and cleared her throat.

“I deny that there is such a thing as a ‘god’ at first. The monsters of the mythical age were simply much more powerful than they are today. I believe that those who were inclined to goodness were called gods, and those who were drawn to evil were called demons.”

“And what is a “witch”?”

“The usual interpretation is that they are the messengers of the demon gods. It’s not just a matter of time before you get to the point where you’ll be able to get your hands on some of the most powerful people of the time, who were born of demons or made a contract with demons. The same interpretation applies to me here.”

And – and Professor Tia points to the thing that I’m holding under my arm.

“That’s the witch? I’m surprised. Can he survive with the head alone?”

“I only had the head of the mage man thatI had captured.”

“No, it’s my magic that’s causing this. This is the nobleman named Val Agos.”

“Val Agos? Hmmm, I don’t know, I don’t care about those aristocrats at all. But, nobles, huh? I didn’t know that demons were mixed in with the higher society of people… so what kind of magic is that?”

This woman’s interests are really biased.

“If you respond to my request, I’ll answer your questions around there in due course.”

“You’re a genius at getting people to do what you want them to do. ‘In due course’, even if you’re vague about the time frame, I’m still excited with anticipation.”

“I wasn’t happy to be praised with that snort of praise.”

“You don’t have any breasts at all, though!”

“Don’t self-tweak me when I dare to go through with it.”

“But, what do you want me to do for you?”

“Yeah, actually…”

He giving her a little pat on the head.

…kill me…kill me.

He just repeated it like a raving lunatic. His eyes were empty and he couldn’t do anything about it.

“I’d like to get some information out of this guy. I have a question for you.”

“Why me? Do you think I’m some kind of torturing mad scientist or something?”

“Didn’t you gleefully hurt him when you were with Schneider?”

“I’m not a fan of torture, I just didn’t condone it. You’re the one who put him in that situation, after all. You seem to be better at torture than I am.”

“No, not me. I’m not a specialist.”

“You’re twirling your fingertips around from the side you’re talking to. See, he’s pulling back in terror like crazy.”

“I’ll admit to treating it like an object. However, I don’t like torture, and I’m not well-versed in the art of it either.”

“All I want is results. This guy is free to do what he wants.”

The depths of her glasses glisten.

“Demon! Am I free to dismantle you?”

“You don’t want to kill him now, do you? I’ll ask the right questions first.”

“But, only in the head. It’s a little depressing.”

“You got something else?”

I went with the rest of them out of mystery space-time. Agos said something like “hijinks”. The limbs and torso were torn apart.

“The joints are restrained. The rest of the body can be opened or closed.”

“Yeah, yeah, that helps. The process of examining a body is painful. I’m not a fan of torture by any means, but I’m sure that he’ll have a good cry about it.”

Her innocent smile is scary. From the bottom of my heart, she’s like, ‘My research is going to get better and better…’

“That’s all I need to know. I’ll come check on you occasionally to see how you’re doing.”

“Yeah, I’m on it. So, let’s get started.”

When Professor Tia reached for the head she was twirling around like a basketball with my fingertips.

A slamming sound running down the corridor.

For a moment, Agos’s body is hidden by the optical camouflage wards, and then she checking the surveillance wards to see who approaches…….and then hertwist my head.

With a bang, the door is opened.

“Hey, here comes the conundrum.”

“Oh, help me, Professor Tia!”

“That’s me. My copy of the android, to be precise. That guy, whose name is Hart C for convenience, came in with tears in his eyes for some reason.”

Isn’t he in class right now? I wondered—
