After flying for a few hours, Chu Yueli, Xiao Lingxi, and Yona finally arrived at the Demon Imperial City. They were surprised by the state of this city because it looked like a disaster struck it recently. 

"What happened here? Did a hurricane just hit this city?" Xiao Lingxi was speechless. 

Yona sniffed the air, "No, it was a fight. I smelled strong beast's scents in the atmosphere, probably powerful ones." 

She took another sniff and added, "Probably large mammals." 

"How did you know that?" Xiao Lingxi stared at Yona with a bewildered look.

Yona put on a poker face and replied flatly, "My sense of smell is quite good." 

Xiao Lingxi rolled her eyes at this answer. She didn't believe Yona's sense of smell was just "quite" good because even dogs couldn't compare to her nose.

Amused by Xiao Lingxi and Yona's conversation, Chu Yueli couldn't help but shake her head. Chu Yueli might let out a few giggles if she didn't know about Yona's origins.

However, the ex-mistress of Heavenly Sword Villa is tragic. She has become a person that people of her past couldn't recognize. 

Even Chu Yueli felt the disparity between Xuanyuan Yufeng and Yona as they were 'spiritually' two different people.

As Chu Yueli expected, Chu Yuechan opened her eyes and glanced at the large window. She opened her mouth and mumbled, "Yueli." 

Chu Yuechan snapped her finger and tore a spatial fabric from her room to the palace's gate, making Chu Yueli smile a bit before dragging Xiao Lingxi and Yona in.

The patrolling guards were shocked by this sight, and before they could speak any nonsense, a feminine voice brushed their ears.

"There is nothing to see here. So, turn around and do your job." Chu Yuechan's neutral voice is like iced water buckets thrown over their heads.

Meanwhile, Chu Yuechan patted her lap gently and stared at the portal before her. 

"Sister, do you miss me?" asked Chu Yueli with a smile. 

"I do, but not much." Chu Yuechan tried to be humorous for once, but it came off. 

Chu Yueli was stunned before chuckling, "How cute. Anyway, I'm bringing my little students here." 

"Where is the young master?" 

Chu Yuechan sighed, "Huan Caiyi brought him somewhere. I didn't come along with them because he said the place was unfriendly to ice profound practitioners like me."

"Oh, there is such a place?" Even though Chu Yueli felt her ice was better than Chu Yuechan because of its purity, the latter's attainment in ice manipulation is still high. 

When Yu Long said a site could be unfriendly to Chu Yuechan, that place was probably too hot, to the point of melting ice element conjured by an expert at the early stage of Divine Origin Realm.

"It might have divine origin..." Chu Yueli mumbled to herself.

"Well, this is such a shame. I previously hoped we could meet the young master as soon as we arrived at the Demon Imperial City." 

"You're at the end of your luck. The young master won't be returning till tomorrow, I assume." Chu Yuechan replied casually. "It might be even longer if Huan Caiyi stalls more." 

"She's at that level already? Impressive." Chu Yueli nodded her head in affirmation. Before, she would have felt a little lost, but Yu Long had eaten her and her sister not too long ago, so she wasn't discouraged by other women in the harem. 

Not to mention, Chu Yueli already expected Huan Caiyi to join the harem sooner or later. 

Well, Huan Caiyi joined the team faster than Chu Yueli thought.

Chu Yueli sighed helplessly, "What should we do then? Are we going to wait here for a whole day?"

"Thanks." Chu Yueli smiled, dragging Xiao Lingxi and Yona into the portal again.

Watching the three disappear, Chu Yuechan thought of something and shook her head. "I can't go back and meditate because of them." 

"Without the Master's presence, this world is dull." 

"Let's find Thalia. I need a spare sword to use."
