Amidst the pain that Kyran felt, he could not help but gape stupidly after hearing what the overlapping voices had said.

"What?"

"Training Results varies from C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, and Z. C and B will allow participants to choose one reward. However, the available chest participants can choose from will only be a bronze chest for C-results, while B-results grant silver chest.

"A and S results will allow participants to choose two rewards. A-results will grant silver chests, while S-results grant gold chests. SS and SSS results will allow participants to choose three rewards. The available chest for SS-results is gold, while SSS-results grant platinum chests.

"Last, participants who acquired Z-results will be allowed to choose five rewards. Wherein, three of the chests are of platinum chests, and two are of diamond chests."

The overlapping voices explained.

Kyran sat on the floor, and his brows creased. What the voices were telling him was beyond his expectations. Gustaff told him about receiving rewards at the end of the training, but he did not expect he had to choose from a 'chest.'

As he understood, the tower would present a reward, and he could only choose based on the number he was allowed to receive.

For example, if he got an A-result, the tower would give him three choices: a manual, a potion, and a magic item. Since A-result can receive two rewards, he can choose the manual and the magic item.

But if he had to choose from a chest, he might pick an item he did not need.

Gold chests would contain better items than bronze and silver chests, but it would not guarantee that he would get something he needed.

As if sensing Kyran's doubts, the overlapping voices spoke once again.

"Rest assured that every rewards presented will reflect on the path you chose."

'The chest will only have rewards beneficial to the path I chose, huh,' Kyran thought and looked at the gold tablet before him.

Once again, he thought of the person who created the tower. How could he produce a reward beneficial to someone who possessed Void magic?

As soon as Kyran thought of the question, he shook his head wryly and shook his head.

"The world is vast..."

Kyran remembered True Void's words. There might be no items in his plane that could help him improve his Void magic. But it did not mean it was the same with other planes.

Indeed, the world was vast, and the one he lived in was just one of the many worlds out there. How many exactly, he had no idea. But he would not dwell on it for now. He had to deal with the matters in his world first.

'Speaking of True Void. Where is he?' Kyran realized that when he returned to the tower, he was alone. The miniature armor True Void transformed into was not with him.

With a slight frown, Kyran felt his Void core and tried to sense True Void's presence.

After a few minutes, cold sweat trickled down his back because he did not sense him at all. Did he get left behind? That would be bad.

'Not necessarily...' Kyran suddenly thought, recalling how he never once sensed True Void's spirit. He felt something strange in his Void core from time to time, but never actively. True Void had exhausted most of his magic energy; chances that he could only have self-awareness in his sea of consciousness was likely.

"Can you tell me how I got that result?" Kyran asked after a moment's pause.

He did not ask this question because he thought his result was lacking. On the contrary, he felt it was too high because he had been careless and even initiated the Lignum plane's destruction.

Honestly, if he had been careful, the Sovereign of Ruin would not know of his presence. Though the plane would remain in its desolate and almost dying state, had it not been striving for hundreds of years under the Sovereign of Ruin's rule?

"Yes," the overlapping voices replied.

"The training has three main tasks, in which you have completed two, with one having SSS-result and the other with S-result. Since you did not complete the third one, your result only reached a B.

"The first task is to understand the essence of your magic. The second task is to know the cause of the beast's mutation and restore them to their original anatomy. And the third one is to reactivate all Obelisks, restoring the correct cycle of the plane's energy flow and ensuring the Grand Energy Refinement Array to work properly."

Kyran sighed in his heart. There really were tasks he had to complete, and there were three. He could have made preparations if they had told him from the start.

No. Maybe not knowing about the tasks was part of his training.

With this in mind, Kyran thought of his results and could guess which task he got a B-result. It was the second one. However, he felt that his result was too high, especially when he only managed to understand the beast's anatomy but did nothing to understand the cause of their mutation nor restore them to their original form.

As for the S-result, it was likely the first task, and the SSS-result was from the last one.

Kyran believed he got an S-result for the first task because he comprehended the Void Creation. Others might think he deserved a higher result than an S because Void Creation was one of the main essences of Void magic. But Kyran knew what he learned about Void Creation was too little compared to what it could do. His clue was in the second task, which he failed to complete.

For the third task, Kyran guessed he got an SSS-result because not only did he reactivate the obelisks and ensure the Grand Energy Refinement Array would work, but he also restored the whole plane. He even recreated the Great Tree.

"Initially, you only get an S-result. However, you also unlocked a hidden task and completed it, which automatically granted you an additional three points to your over-all result," the overlapping voices continued.

"Three points?" Kyran raised his brows in disbelief. Receiving an additional three points to his overall result was a huge one. Because if he received a proper result on the hidden task and included it in getting his average, at most, he would get an S-result.

"Correct. The hidden task is to complete a spar with a mage with higher magic attainment than you, a minimum of five-level difference and a maximum of ten levels."

Kyran's brow twitched at their explanation.

Did they consider his near-death encounter with the Sovereign of Ruin a spar? And what was with the five-level gap requirement? It was even the minimum.

'Maximum of ten levels... On what level am I exactly?' Kyran wondered. He counted the mage ranks he had read in Stella's study and only counted fourteen. If he included the two Nolan mentioned, there would be a total of sixteen.

Initiate, Novice, Apprentice, Disciple, Journeyman, Paige, Adept, High Adept, Grand Adept, Master, High Master, Grand Master, Exalted, Magus, Arch Magus, Legendary.

As for the Sovereign, Kyran was still unsure whether it was the level next to the Legendary or there was still another one before it.

Nevertheless, if Kyran met the maximum requirement, which was a ten-level gap, it meant he was at the level of an Adept. But if he met the minimum requirement, which was a five-level gap, he was at the Exalted level.

What if there was another level after Legendary, and he met the minimum requirement? Did it mean he was at the level of a Magus?

No. No. No. Impossible.

If Kyran was already at that level, that made him a big bully to those he met since he became a wanted man. However, the more he thought of it, the more possible the notion. It answered how easy it was for him to deal with mages at an Exalted level.

Truthfully, Kyran never really thought about his level. All that mattered was having enough strength to kill or escape from his enemies. Now that he had an idea of his possible level, it gave him confidence in executing his plans to save his clan. With the addition of Void Creation, his chances of saving his clan and ensuring their safety had improved by leaps and bounds.

The only thing he had to worry about now was True Void's status.

Hopefully, he did not get left behind in the Lignum plane and, if he were back in his sea of consciousness due to lack of magic energy, the surrounding energies in the Human plane would be enough to help him have a temporary form, at least.

"Do you have any more questions?" The overlapping voices brought Kyran out of his thoughts.

"No. Let's continue," Kyran replied without hesitation.

He actually had a lot of questions, but it was not related to his training or his results. It made him think the tower would not answer them. Besides, he was still in pain and was hoping one of the rewards he would get had a way to fix his arm.

"Very well. Please choose your rewards."

Ten gold chests appeared as soon as the overlapping voices spoke, forming a small circle around Kyran.

The instant Kyran saw the chests; his brow started to twitch.

'I take back my doubts earlier. I understand now what Gustaff meant,' he thought, looking at the gold chests around him.

Above the gold chests were projections of what was inside. Whether it was the same item inside, Kyran had yet to find out.

Among the ten chests, the rewards were three purple slips, two purple with gold weapons, a long staff and a rod, two golden scrolls, one purple with gold accents hammer, one gold ring, and one black and purple book.

As soon as Kyran saw these items, his Void core trembled. His heart began to beat fast as he looked at three of the rewards in particular.

But Kyran did not choose them at once. He first asked, "Can you tell me what those slips and scrolls are?"

"The slips contained knowledge of your chosen path, while the scrolls contained a one-time use of a Legendary-level attack of your chosen path."

Kyran's mind reeled after hearing the answer.

The slips had recorded knowledge of Void magic, and the scrolls had a Legendary-level Void attack. All of these were beneficial for him. The scroll was one-time use only but could serve as a hidden trump card.

However, though his mind thought this, he could not deny that he was still drawn to the three items.

"You may now choose your rewards," the overlapping voices told him.

After a moment's pause, Kyran finally made up his mind.

He took a deep breath and pointed at three chests.

"I choose those three."
