Chapter 6312: Long Xiaoxiao’s New Master

Long Zhuoyan revealed herself in mid-air, but no one other than Chu Feng could see her true appearance. She emanated a brilliant light that made her look like a silhouette amid the sun in others’ eyes.

The Dragon Breath Clan tensed up as if they were faced with a formidable enemy.

Even those who had entered the formation to cultivate quickly came out and drew their weapons. Long Mucheng pulled Chu Feng and Long Xiaoxiao behind her as she questioned, “Who dares to intrude on our Dragon Breath Clan’s territory?”

“Elder, she’s one of our own,” Chu Feng quickly cleared the air.

“She’s one of our own?” Long Mucheng was stunned.

But Long Zhuoyan scoffed in disdain, “Who’s one with the likes of them?”

The Dragon Breath Clansmen had barely breathed a sigh of relief when they heard those words. Their anger shot through the roof as they brandished their weapons, threatening to teach Long Zhuoyan a lesson.

Boom!

An oppressive might suddenly crushed the Immemorial Storage Realm.

Silence followed.

Everyone in the Dragon Breath Clan felt the threat of death. They couldn’t even let out pained moans, let alone utter a word.

“Big sister, I’m on good terms with these elders. They don’t mean to disrespect you; they merely don’t know who you are,” Chu Feng interjected, fearing that Long Zhuoyan would vanquish the Dragon Breath Clan in a fit of anger.

In his eyes, Long Zhuoyan was more than capable of that.

Chu Feng quickly sent a voice transmission to everyone in the Dragon Breath Clan, informing them of Long Zhuoyan’s identity.

As a matter of fact, the Dragon Breath Clansmen had realized the severity of the matter from the moment they felt Long Zhuoyan’s oppressive might. They were relieved when they learned that the person before them was the Totem Dragon Clan’s ‘Lord Ancestral Dragon’, as well as someone whom Chu Feng was on close terms with.

Thankfully, Long Zhuoyan retracted her oppressive might after Chu Feng’s intervention. The Dragon Breath Clan regained their freedom.

“Our deepest apologies for our earlier disrespect, milord. We were unaware of your identity,” Long Mucheng and the Dragon Breath Clansmen apologized to Long Zhuoyan.

Long Zhuoyan completely ignored their apology and instead turned to Chu Feng, “Little brother, hurry up and finish your conversation with them. I’m taking the two of you out of here.”𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

With that, Long Zhuoyan disappeared into thin air.𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

However, the crowd knew that she was still here, especially since the Immemorial Storage Realm was still in a sealed state.

“Chu Feng, it seems that lord doesn’t want me to take Miss Xiaoxiao as my disciple,” Long Mucheng spoke to Chu Feng via voice transmission because she was worried that she might misspeak and inadvertently displease Long Zhuoyan.

She then turned to the crowd and addressed them, “Chu Feng, our Dragon Breath Clan is grateful to you and Miss Xiaoxiao for helping us fulfill Lord Xuantian’s mission. We have no way of repaying you. Feel free to ask anything of us once we complete our cultivation. We’ll march up a mountain of blades or descend into a sea of flames at your command!”

“Elder, there’s no need to stand on ceremony. You have already compensated us for our effort,” Chu Feng replied as he took out the Cosmos Sack he had just received and waved it around. “You should start cultivating so that the formation doesn’t go to waste.”

Chu Feng could tell that the formation harnessed extraordinary energy. The Dragon Breath Clan would undergo a metamorphosis if they could make full use of this opportunity.

Once they were done chatting, Long Mucheng opened the Immemorial Storage Realm.

Long Zhuoyan revealed herself and stepped out first. Chu Feng and Long Xiaoxiao bade farewell to the Dragon Breath Clan and watched the Immemorial Storage Realm close back up before quickly catching up with Long Zhuoyan.

“Waaa! She’s so beautiful!” Long Xiaoxiao suddenly remarked in awe.

Chu Feng realized that Long Xiaoxiao could see Long Zhuoyan’s true appearance too.

“You’re Long Xiaoxiao, right?” Long Zhuoyan asked.

“Yes, milord. I am Long Xiaoxiao.”

Long Xiaoxiao was a highly sociable person. She smiled as she bowed, maintaining a respectful but not too restrained attitude. It made her very likable.

Long Zhuoyan smiled as well. She turned to Chu Feng and asked, “You’re on good terms with her?”

“We have been friends for a long time, and we have been through difficult times too.” Chu Feng could tell that Long Xiaoxiao’s talent had caught Long Zhuoyan’s attention, so he didn’t hide his close ties with Long Xiaoxiao.

Long Zhuoyan turned to Long Xiaoxiao once more and said, “Not bad. You must have a good character to receive such high praise from my little brother. My little brother should have secretly filled you in about my background by now. So, are you willing to be my disciple?”

Long Xiaoxiao glanced at Chu Feng.

“It’s up to you,” Chu Feng replied.

Long Xiaoxiao kneeled before Long Zhuoyan and said, “Disciple Long Xiaoxiao pays respect to master.”

Long Zhuoyan’s smile widened. She pulled Long Xiaoxiao up and said, “Don’t be in such a rush to acknowledge me as your master. I’m not done with my words yet.”

Long Xiaoxiao’s face stiffened up as she began to panic. She knew this was a rare opportunity that could change her life for good and she didn’t want to miss it.

“You’ll have to enter the Ninth Galaxy with me if you wish to take me as your master. My little brother won’t be going in for the time being, so you’ll be separated from him for a long time,” Long Zhuoyan said.

Long Xiaoxiao breathed a sigh of relief. She was glad to hear that Long Zhuoyan wasn’t turning her down.

“Big sister, Xiaoxiao has been cultivating all this while. We rarely meet,” Chu Feng replied.

“Chu Feng, will you be entering the Ninth Galaxy too?” Long Xiaoxiao asked.

“Of course. My mother is waiting for me in the Ninth Galaxy,” Chu Feng replied.

“That’s good to hear.” Long Xiaoxiao beamed a smile.

“Are you willing to come with me?” Long Zhuoyan asked once more.

“Yes, I am willing,” Long Xiaoxiao replied without hesitation.

“We’ll be setting off now. You won’t be able to accompany Chu Feng to the Fortuitous Bloodline Mountain,” Long Zhuoyan added.

“I am willing to go wherever my master goes. Master, you are my greatest fortuitous encounter; everything else pales in comparison,” Long Xiaoxiao replied.

“Lass, you have a sweet tongue.” Long Zhuoyan’s chuckle showed that she was fond of Long Xiaoxiao too.

“Little brother, God’s Era has appeared many times in the Ancient Era, but no one has been able to clear it. You can give it a try, but don’t force it. The world of cultivation is very different from how it was in the Ancient Era. I can’t give you any advice about the Ninth Galaxy as I don’t know what’s going on there either, but I can offer you some pointers about the eight galaxies.

“Other than God’s Era, there’s another hidden dimension in the vicinity of the Ninth Galaxy. This hidden dimension is a massive space encompassing countless realms. It is an enigmatic place that even I am unable to see through. Such places are usually very dangerous. It’s one thing if it reveals itself or someone else finds it, but I’d strongly advise you not to get involved.”

Long Zhuoyan’s words were so grim that it made Chu Feng realize that the world of cultivation was filled with unknown dangers.
