Over the next two hours, Alex underwent additional tests, allowing Lady Elmara to collect the data she wanted while he had gained a good idea of the various changes he had undergone.
So, without further delay, he promptly logged out and exited the ancient world, knowing his family would be worried sick by this point.
Alex had no idea how long the evolution process would take, but he had come prepared. He had informed his mother and father that over the course of the next ten days, there were some very important matters he needed to attend to, so he wouldn't be logging out from the game.
It was the middle of the night when Alex exited his VR capsule, so after taking a shower, he visited the game forums to catch up on what had transpired in the last one and a half weeks.
As Alex had expected, the demons had attacked twice in the last nine days and successfully destroyed four big and nine smaller cities, slaughtering millions of citizens.
The efforts from the Empire to weed out the demons were also intense, as they had the best of the best soldiers to comb through the inside of the dark barrier to hunt down the demons because it was confirmed the invading demons were returning inside the protected barrier.
The protection of the cities and town were also being taken seriously, but even getting the players involved by offering lucrative rewards from the empire and the various big organizations, it was still impossible to provide good protection to every place.
After spending some time on the forum, Alex went to bed, and after six hours of sleep, he woke up refreshed and took a shower to freshen up, followed by some light stretching, and then he went downstairs to have breakfast with his family.
As Alex descended the stairs, he found his father engrossed in watching the news while his little sister was nowhere to be seen, and his mother was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.
Alex made his way over to the sofa, taking a seat beside his father and seeing him, his father promptly muted the news.
"Alex, everything went well?" Alex's father asked.
"Things went exceptionally well, much better than I was expecting," Alex replied, and hearing it, his father smiled.
"Son, after breakfast, make sure you don't go back to the game world, and instead, make sure you spend some time in the fresh air. Go outside, meet some friends, and freshen your mind." Alex's father said.
"Sure, Dad, I'll do that," Alex responded, and just then, his little sister entered the living room, wearing her white and blue school uniform. Her presence brought a smile to Alex's face.
Alex greeted Sophie, who greeted back with a cheerful smile and then went on to tell him in a low voice how mom was really angry with him and also concerned for his health.
After a few minutes, everyone was seated at the dining table eating breakfast, and as always, Alex's mother showed her concern about his gaming addiction, but after some convincing and sweet talk and telling her how important it was for him and how well things went, she had the brightest smile out of everyone on the table.
Sophie was happy for him, and then she asked him for advice on what she should do as many new and old players in the village wanted to join her team and were even offering her real-life money.
Alex understood that Sophie, being the student of the village elder, was most likely the reason why many wanted to get close to her, so without holding back, he told her about their intentions and even told her how to deal with them.
Alex knew if Sophie rejected their request, they would mess with her, which he didn't want to happen, so he told her to get along with them but to distance herself from those who would ask her to introduce them to the village elder because they just wanted benefits.
But Alex did tell her to introduce them to the elder because he knew that if they were not really talented and to the liking of the elder, he wouldn't even spare them a glance.
After breakfast, Alex left his home with Sophie to take her to school, and after dropping her at the school, he headed to the gym to assess his overall strength and attend to a few tasks.
Alex's brief visit to the gym lasted only a few minutes, primarily dedicated to preparing the bar for a deadlift. As anticipated, he effortlessly hoisted a weight exceeding a thousand pounds, and without lingering any longer, he left the gym.
All of Alex's stat was reaching a point where they were now progressing at a snail's pace simply because the early benefits he could gain from cleansing his physique were reaching their limit.
While Alex still needed quite a number of stat points to get his desired class at the first Rank promotion, and there were few means he could use that could be acquired from the galactic shop.
Alex knew going to a public or private gym was no longer an option, and conventional fitness machines would be no help, so he found an isolated location and started searching for what he needed in the galactic shop.
The galactic shop had basic equipments designed to help an awakened increase his strength, but they had limitations and could only be used till a certain level of strength, while there was also high-quality stuff that could help one rapidly increase his strength and had much higher limitations.
Alex chose various equipment designed to help in increasing various stats and even a variety of security measures, but they were all of low quality simply because everything of high-quality cost a fortune in galactic coins.
The last thing Alex purchased was a gravitational room, a top-tier item that came at a staggering price tag of 60 million galactic coins, but it was a must if he didn't want to progress at a snail's pace.
The total amount of galactic coins Alex paid for everything was over 90 million and over double the amount of gold coins.
The last thing Alex needed to get everything done was to find enough land for Zero to build the gravitational chamber and other facilities and security measures.
Alex needed close to 2,000 square meters of land, which would cost a fortune of millions in the city even if he was available to somehow locate it.
Alex opened the biggest real estate website and started to search for available land in the rural regions of the city, especially in the large farmland areas.
After some searching, he found fifty acres on sale for 800 thousand dollars, located only a small distance away from the main population and a drive of less than half an hour from his home.
Alex wanted to avoid such a large land with such a price tag as it could attract unwanted attention, but after some more searching, he didn't find any suitable place, so without hesitation, he messaged the person who listed it for sale to arrange a meeting.
