The group had fought through the BOSS with blood, sweat, and tears, only to yield a single common piece of equipment. Not only were they unwilling to accept this, but they were also all curious to see whether the BOSS really only dropped common gear. If not, it was certain there was an insider pilfering the loot.

For a time, everyone had their suspicions…

An hour later, the Goblin Mage was resurrected, and a great battle erupted once again.

Meanwhile, Yi Zheng had already flown through the Goblin Forest, crossed the canyon, and entered the territory of Newbie Village No. 1.

Standing outside the canyon, below Tiger Mountain, he mobilized a skill with a thought: Summoning Rabbit Group!

“Brothers, assemble!”

Yi Zheng had just carefully observed those players and covertly used the Identification Skill, resulting in an unsurprising inability to identify them!

That meant these players were all above Level 11!

In addition to that, the equipment they wore was clearly different from that of the Level 10 players who had just changed their classes, which Yi Zheng had slaughtered. It seemed they had upgraded.

Obviously, while Yi Zheng was bashing Newbie Village, these players, who didn’t enter the village, were also sprinting fiercely, with both their levels and equipment rapidly advancing.

This was precisely what Yi Zheng feared most, the speed of the players’ growth was far too fast for the Rabbits to catch up to by just training.

And relying solely on Newbie Village for growth was far too slow for both the Rabbits and him.

Moreover, players in Newbie Village were so terrorized by the killings that they hardly ventured out anymore, so no experience was to be gained at all.

If things kept up at this rate, it was only a matter of time before players outside would surpass the Rabbits.

Piecing together all this information, Yi Zheng came to a conclusion: the players outside were—easy pickings!

First, they were higher level, meaning killing them would yield more experience.

Second, they weren’t at all wary of the Rabbits from Newbie Village, even believing Yi Zheng and the others couldn’t venture out.

Third, they were a threat that needed to be nipped in the bud!

As Yi Zheng pondered this matter, the sound of the earth rumbling arose and a white wave surged from the distance. It quickly reached where Yi Zheng was, consisting of all the Wild Monsters and BOSS from Newbie Village!

Upon seeing Yi Zheng, these creatures were stunned. Zi Gong even waved his hand authoritatively, “What thing dares to block our way? Brothers, grab your weapons and take it down!”

A darkness came over Yi Zheng’s brows, and he hastily removed his mask to reveal his true face.

The Rabbits came to an immediate halt.

Although a chicken still managed to hit Yi Zheng’s face…

Zi Gong’s face reddened with embarrassment, realizing his blunder, and muttered sheepishly, “Boss… how come you can fly now?”

Yi Zheng couldn’t be bothered with him, flinging the chicken off his face before asking Zi Lu, “Is everybody here?”

Zi Lu promptly stepped forward, “Boss, as per your instructions, all forty-five sub-factions are present!”

Yi Zheng was very satisfied. Although these Rabbits might not be the brightest, in terms of obedience, they truly met his expectations.

Yi Zheng jumped onto Zi Xing’s head and, looking down at the vast Wild Monster army that stretched as far as the eye could see, he proclaimed, “Brothers, Rabbits! You are all badass beings. You can’t be trapped in a small village forever. You must dream of the stars and the sea!”

The gathered Rabbits cocks their heads to one side, looking completely clueless, seemingly not understanding.

Yi Zheng slapped his forehead and quickly changed his approach, “Brothers, Rabbits! Grab your weapons, it’s time to conquer territories!”

“Roar!” The Rabbit troops roared with fervor!

Looking at the gang of hooligan rabbits in front of him, Yi Zheng couldn’t help but sigh, “What on earth are these things…”

And so, Yi Zheng led the more than two hundred thousand wild monsters from Newbie Village across the First-Tier Sky Canyon, pouring into the Goblin Forest outside.

Meanwhile, inside the Goblin Hall.

“Huff, huff, huff…” Luo Kang was panting heavily, pointing at the whiteboard-quality equipment on the ground, and asked indignantly, “Are you… are you sure this is a Big Boss? We’ve killed it three times, and all it drops are these whiteboards?”

The female mage was also out of breath as she exclaimed, “Three times now, we couldn’t have been wrong, this guy really only drops whiteboards! Damn it, is this really a Big Boss?”

With a sob in his voice, Xiong Li said, “There’s no mistake, although its clothes have changed, its skills are unmistakably the same. You’ve all seen them before, Small Fireball, Big Fireball, and the Fire Rain Skill, even the damage is identical, it can’t be wrong.”

Luo Kang asked, “If it has clothes to wear, why does it bare its butt? Is it scorning us?”

“Shouldn’t be, right? We’ve beaten him three times already,” someone muttered.

Just then, a timid voice from the female mage said, “Just now, I saw that robe and mask running away by themselves…”

“What?!”

Everyone stood there, dumbfounded.

The female mage said angrily, “Li Chenchen, what nonsense are you spouting? The robe and mask can run away on their own?”

The timid female mage, Li Chenchen, said, “Really, I truly saw them running away, well, not running, but floating.”

Rolling her eyes in disbelief, the female mage said, “So you’re saying, the two pieces of equipment eloped, leaving their master behind?”

Li Chenchen thought carefully about the memory, the robe fluttering in the wind, the pitch-black mask, no limbs visible on the robe, the body drifting with the wind… then she once again nodded firmly, “That’s exactly what happened!”

“Pfft…” The female mage and others couldn’t help but laugh.

The archer said, “Li Chenchen, I’ve played a lot of games, but I’ve never seen a Big Boss’s equipment run away on its own.”

“Neither have I.”

“That story’s a little too fake…”

While everyone was questioning Li Chenchen’s account, the ground suddenly began to shake.

“Is it an earthquake?” someone asked.

Then, cries of agony were heard coming from a distance.

Everyone quickly ran out to see what was happening, only to see a horde of little goblins charging out of the woods.

After the initial shock, Xiong Li exclaimed with elation, “I know why the Big Boss isn’t dropping any equipment!”

“Why?” asked Luo Kang.

Xiong Li said, “Isn’t it obvious? We’ve triggered a hidden plot! Killing the Big Boss three times in a row, the small monsters are revolting; I bet the real Big Boss is about to appear! Brothers, defense!”

Hearing Xiong Li’s words, everyone was instantly invigorated.

The situation was indeed bizarre; normally, even if it was in the same area, small monsters have their own little zones of activity, and they wouldn’t come to the aid of their Big Boss if it was outside their zone. Now that they were suddenly banding together and attacking, there had to be a problem.

“A hidden quest, we’re in for a big reward!” said the excited female mage.

“Fall back to the entrance, warriors block the door, don’t get surrounded. Archers and mages, get ready!” commanded Xiong Li, prompting everyone to quickly barricade the entrance.

Just when they thought the small monsters were about to clash with them, the monsters didn’t even glance at them and instead ran right past the hall, scattering their weapons all over the ground as they fled…

Everyone stood there cluelessly, looking at each other, completely baffled as to what had just happened.
