"Is that so?" Count Monbrook frowned and thought for a moment as he looked at his son's furious look, and said, "If he is as arrogant and powerful as you've said, he should've returned by now with his wives. However, there is no sign of him or his wives within the entire city whatsoever."
"I suppose he was actually a coward from the inside trying to intimidate you before," Count Monbrook looked at his son in a way as if he was looking at an idiot, and said, "But since he knows whose son he beat up now, he must have run away from this city to another city to hide for a while with his beautiful wives"
"But that can't be, father!" Henrik shook his head and said. "I've sent a few men to investigate where that bastard and his wives were going, and guess what I found."
"What?" Count Monbrook frowned at his son with a curious look on his face.
"They informed me that bastard Yuan and his wives have taken three C-ranks missions that most hunters would often ignore despite the high pay, he has taken them to increase his women's hunter ranks and headed out from the city." With a smirk on his face, Henrik said.
"Are you sure this information is accurate?" Count Monbrook inquired, finding it difficult to trust such information.
"I'm one hundred percent sure it's accurate, father," Henrik stated confidently. "I even asked the soldiers guarding the entrance, and they spotted them go towards one of the villages on the outside of town."
"Three C-rank missions at once...it appears that he thinks too highly of himself that even dares to take such a high-ranking mission." Count Monbrook mumbled in a low voice with a pondered expression on his face, as though he was thinking about something deeply.
'Still, since he dared to take such a high-ranking mission, it's best for me not to underestimate him. Or else, I'll be the one facing loss.' Count Monbrook thought.
He did not simply inherit the noble title of Count. To succeed his father as Count, he needed to get rid of his other brothers from separate mothers, so only he could inherit the position of Count as the only male heir remaining in the family.
Without precise calculation and planning, it would be impossible for him to kill his siblings without being discovered.
Except for the females, George Monbrook murdered all of his male siblings in order to become the next Count of the Windfall kingdom.
For a guy of his caliber, how can he let down his guard simply because his opponent is young and weak? As the strongest Count of the country with the most territory, Count George understands that age is irrelevant to strength and that anyone can be strong regardless of his age.
A few minutes later, George Monbrook suddenly opened the carriage door and took his head out, he then looked at one of the guards.
When the guard noticed this, he immediately moved his gaze to the carriage door, which had abruptly opened.
"Tyler, keep an eye out for the targets. My son and I are going to the Golden Delicacy for lunch right now; if you see them, please notify us right away." George spoke to one of the guards standing outside the carriage.
As a traditional woman, Leah was firm in her beliefs, and to her, every guest is equal to a god, thus she can't let the guests leave without showing them any hospitality.
Yuan then smiled at Leah, and said, "In that case, we won't refuse your offer."
Yuan did not decline Ava's hospitality because, back on Earth, he knew many families with the same traditions as Leah's, and refusing their welcome was considered disrespectful.
"Just give me a few minutes." After saying that, Leah left the room.
Leah returned a short time later with a pot of tea and a few clay cups on the tray, as well as a few cookies to go with the drink.
She quickly served tea for everyone and as well as one for herself.
"This tea is delicious," Yuan said after taking a sip from the cup, the mellow refreshing taste of the tea exploded inside his mouth reliving his taste buds.
"I couldn't agree more. This tea is indeed delicious. You really have magic in your hands, Leah." Anna Grace couldn't help but express her thoughts about the tea brewed by Leah, which has an extraordinary taste.
"I'm glad the tea was to your liking, Miss Anna Grace." Leah felt extremely happy and bashfully responded.
A few minutes later, Leah went to her room to pack her belongings to travel with Yuan and his wives.
"This is the only thing left to remember you, Mother." Leah with a sad look on her face looked at the beautiful piece of jewelry in her hand, which belonged to her mother.
This piece of jewelry was a wedding gift from her father to her mother, given to her mother prior to the wedding night. This piece of jewelry holds a special place in Leah's heart because her mother treasured it so much that she never wore it casually for fear of losing it.
She then brushed her tears away and carefully placed the jewels in a box container before giving it one more look before placing it among her belongings.
A few minutes later, Leah finished packing her belongings and headed out from her room after giving a last look at her room, looking at her room her eyes became teary knowing that she wouldn't be coming to this place for no one knows how long once she leaves the house.
"It's time for me to leave now, Yuan and his wives must be waiting for me," Leah said to herself before walking out of her room.
Yuan saw Leah come out of her room with her belongings, and asked, "Have you packed everything?"
"That's right. I'm ready to leave now." Leah said and placed her belongings on the floor.
"Then let me store your belongings in my treasure, it will make our traveling much more convenient." Anna Grace said.
"If it's not something troubling." Leah knew exactly what Anna Grace was talking about because she had seen Yuan pull things out of thin air before.
