They found a random place to sit down and talk. Rayleigh’s gaze kept shifting to Shin, his brow furrowed in thought.
He and Roger had traveled the world, but he’d never heard of anyone named Shin Uzumaki. The name itself was odd, almost like someone from Wano.
A powerful individual appearing out of nowhere—it was unbelievable to Rayleigh. He still wasn’t sure how strong Shin was. Though he hadn’t gone all out earlier, he hadn’t even seen Shin make a move.
This meant that even if he had fought seriously, he probably wouldn’t have been a match—Stronger than himself… Rayleigh truly didn’t know who else in the world could surpass him.
He considered himself to be at the pinnacle of strength, and he was right. Even twenty years later, a seventy-something-year-old Rayleigh would still hold a place among the World’s Strongest.
————
“What information do you want?” Shakky asked Shin.
“Information about the Marines. Have they made any major moves recently?” Shin tapped his fingers on the table, asking Shakky.
Hearing Shin ask about the Marines, Shakky frowned slightly, then relaxed a little. It seemed this Shin Uzumaki wasn’t with the Marines.
“They have made a significant move. Vice Admirals Sakazuki and Kuzan went to the New World, along with other Vice Admirals: Momonga, Strawberry, and Yamakaji.”
Shakky nodded and said to Shin.
Momonga, Strawberry, and Yamakaji were nothing special, just ordinary Vice Admirals. But Sakazuki and Kuzan were different.
Though they were Vice Admirals now, it was a foregone conclusion that they would become Admirals.
“Do you know what they’re doing in the New World?” Shin asked Shakky again.
“I don’t know. I can’t get my hands on internal Marine matters.”
Shakky shook her head. Though she was an informant, she couldn’t possibly know everything.
“How long have they been in the New World?”
This was Shin’s final question.
“They haven’t been in the New World for long. They probably passed through the Holy Land of Mary Geoise about three days ago, then disappeared with ten warships. Their destination is unknown.”
That was all Shakky knew.
Shin nodded. Three days. He wondered if he could catch up to them. It depended on the Marines’ speed.
The journey was quite long, but if the Marines traveled at full speed, it wouldn’t take them long to reach the West Blue.
“Give me an Eternal Pose for Ohara,” Shin said to Shakky.
After getting the Eternal Pose for Ohara, Shin left. He had no intention of lingering here.
Just now, the System had issued him a mission: Save Robin and her mother. Though there was no penalty for failure, the reward was a Divine Replication Card.
The mission wasn’t difficult. As long as he made it in time, the Divine Replication Card was practically a freebie. Shin, of course, wanted it!
After Shin and Hancock left, Shakky looked at Rayleigh.
————
“He seems to be heading to Ohara. I wonder what he’s going there for.”
“I don’t know either. Perhaps the Marines are also heading to Ohara. Ohara is in trouble this time,” Rayleigh said, shaking his head slightly. From Shin’s questions, he had already guessed that the Marines heading to the New World were targeting Ohara.
Was Shin Uzumaki going to help Ohara or for other reasons? Rayleigh, no matter how smart, couldn’t guess that. However, Rayleigh could guess the reason for the Marines’ attack on Ohara.
It was likely the World Government’s intention.
Sometimes, knowing too much wasn’t a good thing…
————
In a flash, Shin and Hancock crossed the Red Line, passing through the highest point, the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. The Five Elders had no idea that someone had passed over them.
Because Shin was in a hurry, he used Yomotsu Hirasaka to travel. They naturally couldn’t detect Shin’s presence. With the Eternal Pose, Shin wasn’t afraid of not finding Ohara’s location.
“How do you feel?” Shin asked Hancock.
“I don’t feel anything,” Hancock said to Shin blankly.
Shin had been afraid Hancock wouldn’t be able to adapt, but seeing she was fine, he relaxed.
Using Yomotsu Hirasaka, Shin traveled quickly. By the time he arrived at Ohara, the Marines hadn’t even arrived yet.
But he estimated that even if they hadn’t arrived at Ohara, they were close. It wouldn’t be long before the ten warships of the Buster Call arrived here to give Ohara a baptism of fire.
————
“Shin-nii, why are we here?”
Hancock asked Shin strangely.
“Just to save two people,” Shin said with a light chuckle to Hancock.
Robin was on this island now, but Shin wasn’t in a hurry. He had to wait for Robin’s mother, Nico Olvia.
The System mission was to save both mother and daughter. Shin couldn’t just save one. Moreover, even if he didn’t save Nico Robin, she would survive. In the original story, Robin was let go.
“SAVING PEOPLE? ARE THEY WOMEN?” Hancock’s expression soured.
Shin glanced at Hancock with surprise. Is this a woman’s sixth sense? She actually guessed right.
“You guessed right. I’m indeed here to save two women.”
“….” Hancock’s face showed a hint of displeasure, but she didn’t say anything, quietly sitting down beside Shin.
Shin and Hancock sat by the sea. The Marines hadn’t arrived yet; Shin wasn’t in a hurry. He’d wait until the Marines arrived.
“Who… who are you?”
Just as Shin and Hancock were looking at the sea, a little girl’s voice made them turn their gaze away from the distant sea.
Looking at the little girl before him, Shin stood up, his gaze fixed on her.
“Are you Nico Robin?”
“You… know me?” Robin took a few steps back, looking somewhat afraid.
Nico Robin’s life here wasn’t good. Olvia had left her in Ohara. Robin was basically living under someone else’s roof—coupled with her Devil Fruit ability, she was disliked by many. Fortunately, Professor Clover and the scholars of Ohara didn’t dislike her.
But even so, her life was still very miserable. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be so thin, looking malnourished.
“I guess you could say that.”
Shin looked at Robin and said with a smile. It was he who knew Robin, and Robin didn’t know him.
But now, they could be considered acquainted.
