"Argghhhh… Why do I feel like the System can be that dumb at times." Yun sighed despite knowing that she is from the System herself.

"And yet, you allow your secondary system to grow via experience points in Atopia but not yourself?" Jin questioned as he felt this was such a contradiction to the actions it put out.

"The secondary System is not directly connected to the main System and whether the secondary System is able to grow with you could not be analysed until the trial was done or the secondary System had absorbed sufficiently to create a link between the main System and itself." The System reported.

"Besides, the System had noted that the wording only applied to daily living actions and not while in a trial."

"You mean the trial is an exception and thus, you decided to see if that loophole works? And if it works does that mean you would want to secretly put more trials and later gain experience points through said trials until you recover while sidestepping me from this current predicament that I put you in?"

"… The System would not deny that such plan had been put into the works without the User's acknowledgement mainly due to the fact that it is still a plan in progress."

"Fine… Fine… Fine… I understand. Let's just say that from now on, I will permit the taking of experience points from certain worlds. Ask for permission if you need to do so in other worlds or because of certain situations that we are stuck in." Jin clarified and he could feel that there was a tinge of robotic but positive gratitude coming from the System's reply to his new amended command.

"So… on the other hand, does that means we can actually work with the dimension summoning to the Dungeon World and earn money as well?" Claire felt that this was one revenue that Jin should explore to.

"Despite my current S Rank status for my dimension summoning skill… I do not think we would be able to exploit that skill as much as you want it to be." Jin remarked.

"How so?" Claire asked, feeling a little irritated that Jin could do such an amazing thing without spending resources at yet he wished to do tasks or events that required them to spend resources just to get things done.

"First, the Dungeon World have adventurers of varied skills and abilities. If I do not personally control the dungeon, I would not be able to provide a meaningful experience to it. That also means that my monsters might not be up to par against those adventurers that comes into the dungeon. We would not be earning anything if my dungeon monsters would be killed without putting too much of a fight." Jin explained.

"On the other hand, there are no rewards from this punishing dungeon that we are to create. And we need to create a punishing dungeon in order to get the adventurers feel that this is a worthy endeavour to embark on." Jin added as he knew that even if they were to consume the adventurer's gear, money and experience points to improve the System capabilities, there is no use if people who entered the dungeon and cleared everything realised that it is not viable." Jin then changed the subject for the moment.

"Eh, are there coreless dungeons in the Dungeon World since the dimension I am making could not have a core."

"With regards to your question, the System had deemed that the User should be able to recycle the loot that had been salvaged into a proper weapon."

"How? We can't exactly use our material recycler or trash reduction machine to get a new item out." Jin rebutted but only Yun agreed with the System after being lost in thought for a moment.

"Actually, it is with you all this while. Just that that said person do not really like to use any other magic…" That hint was more than enough from Yun for Jin to understand who this valuable person was.

"Argghhhh… Why do I feel like the System can be that dumb at times?" Yun sighed, her frustration palpable even though she was inherently part of the System itself. The paradox of her existence consistently weighed heavily on her mind as the complexity of her life continued to gnawed at her every single time she interacted with the artificial intelligence that governed her reality.

"And yet, you allow your secondary system to grow via experience points in Atopia but not yourself?" Jin interjected, an eyebrow arched in disbelief. It was a question that not only challenged the System's logic but also highlighted a glaring contradiction in its operational protocols.

The disparity between Yun's progress and the secondary System's growth felt absurd, almost comical in its irony. One could not grow because the System did not allow her to while the other secondary System was practically flying through the charts in terms of power and progress.

"The secondary System is not directly connected to the main System," the System responded monotonously, its voice devoid of any hint of emotional understanding. "Whether the secondary System is able to grow with you could not be analysed until the trial was completed or until the secondary System had absorbed sufficiently to create a link between the main System and itself."

Its explanation was as convoluted as the situation itself, and Yun found herself wrestling with the implications. "Besides," it continued, "the System notes that the wording only applies to daily living actions and not while in a trial."

This proclamation felt like a cold comfort, a technicality that did little to alleviate the group's mounting irritation. "You mean the trial is an exception, and thus, you decided to see if that loophole works?" Jin shot back, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"And if it works, does that mean you would want to secretly put more trials in place and later gain experience points through these trials until you recover while sidestepping me from this current predicament that I put you in?" A brief silence followed, heavy and charged, as the System processed Jin's words.

"… The System would not deny that such a plan had been put into works without the User's acknowledgement," it finally admitted. "This was primarily due to the fact that it is still a plan in progress."

Yun couldn't help but roll her eyes, the absurdity of the situation becoming almost laughable. Here they were, navigating a system designed to be efficient and optimal, yet it was entangled in a web of its own making.

The idea of the System working around them, crafting plans without their consent, turned her annoyance into yet again another instance of unsettling mix of distrust and intrigue. "Despite the multiple times we tell the System not to operate in the shadow?" Yun mused aloud, her voice a mere whisper against the backdrop of their ethereal environment.

"Fine… Fine… Fine… I understand. Let's just say that from now on, I will permit the taking of experience points from certain worlds. Ask for permission if you think that doing in other worlds that I permitted was a good opportunity to do so or because of certain situations that we are stuck in." With that decision made, Jin felt a wave of relief wash over him. The System's response echoed in his mind, a blend of gratitude and an unmistakable hint of robotic efficiency.

It was a strange partnership, but one that had proven to be surprisingly effective.

"So… on the other hand, does that mean we can actually work with the dimension summoning to the Dungeon World and earn money as well?" Claire interjected, her excitement barely contained. She was always the pragmatic one, looking for revenue streams and ways to turn their adventures into something more tangible. The thought of harnessing Jin's dungeon dimension summoning skill for profit had a certain allure that she couldn't ignore.

"Despite my current S Rank status for my dimension summoning skill… I do not think we would be able to exploit that skill as much as you want it to be," Jin replied, the disappointment evident in his tone. "How so?" Claire's brow furrowed, irritation creeping into her voice. It baffled her that Jin possessed such incredible abilities yet hesitated to leverage them for immediate gain. "First, the Dungeon World has adventurers of varied skills and abilities. If I do not personally control the dungeon, I would not be able to provide a meaningful experience to it," Jin explained, pacing slightly as he gathered his thoughts.

"That also means that my monsters might not be up to par against those adventurers that come into the dungeon. We would not be earning anything if my dungeon monsters were killed without putting up much of a fight."

Claire crossed her arms defiantly, clearly unconvinced. "But isn't that the point? To test those adventurers? We could create challenges, obstacles, and even set up quests that would engage them. They'd pay their equipment and experience for the chance to prove their skills."

Jin paused, pondering her words. It wasn't a bad idea. The Dungeon World was indeed a place where adventurers sought to prove themselves, and if they could create a competitive environment, it could lead to more fruitful outcomes. But there were risks involved—risks that could jeopardise not just their goals, but their very livelihood.

"True, but it's not just about revenue, Claire. If we draw in adventurers without proper management, we could attract those who seek to exploit or harm us. We need to be strategic. If the dungeon becomes too chaotic, we risk losing control, and that could end badly for us," he cautioned.

Claire's expression softened as she considered his words. "So, what if we started small? We could set up a few trials and gauge the interest. If it seems safe and profitable, we can expand later. We can't let the fear of the worst-case scenario hold us back, Jin. Either that, we can pretend to say that this unknown portal just keeps growing and changes as time goes by"

Jin nodded slowly, the gears in his mind turning. "Alright, let's experiment. We can set up a few challenges and see how the adventurers respond. But we must ensure that we establish control and have a business contingency plan if things go awry. We need to protect ourselves and our resources."

The weight of responsibility hung heavy on his shoulders as he mulled over the daunting task ahead. "On the other hand," he said, his voice echoing slightly off the instance office walls, "There are no rewards from this punishing dungeon that we are to create. And we need to create a punishing dungeon in order to get the adventurers to feel that this is a worthy endeavour to embark on." The words lingered in the air for the others to ponder.

Jin understood that if they were to siphon off the adventurers' gear, money, and experience points to enhance the System's capabilities, it would all be futile if those who dared to enter the dungeon came to realise that it was not worth the peril. He paused, feeling the collective weight of uncertainty in the room. The others exchanged glances, their expressions mirroring his concern.

The success of their ambitious project depended not only on their creativity but also on the perception of those who would venture into their world. The adventurers had to feel a thrill, a sense of accomplishment; they needed to leave the dungeon with tales of valour and spoils to be recounted in the taverns. Otherwise, their efforts would be in vain.

Changing the subject to break the tension, Jin asked, "Eh, are there coreless dungeons in the Dungeon World since the dimension I am making could not have a core?" He glanced at Yun, hoping for insight into this fundamental aspect of their design.

Yun, the more knowledgeable of the group, stroked her chin thoughtfully but the System answered first. "With regards to your question, the System has deemed that the User should be able to recycle the loot that had been salvaged into a proper weapon." Its answer hung in their thoughts, a beacon of possibility.

However, Jin's scepticism quickly resurfaced. "How? We can't exactly use our material recycler or trash reduction machine to get a new item out," he rebutted, crossing his arms.

"Actually," The System began, its voice slightly lower, almost conspiratorial, "Such an opportunity has been with you all this while. Just that said person does not really like to use any other magic…" The hint was not even subtle, and it was more than enough for Jin to draw the connections.

"Wow, Peppers can really do that?" Jin's eyes shimmered with curiosity as he absorbed the information.

"Yes," The System confirmed, its voice tinged with a mix of pride and trepidation despite its robotic tone.

"The main reason Mage Bellator Peppers has been recognised as a cornerstone of the System's operations is due to her profound knowledge of items and her unique ability to transform the mundane into the extraordinary. Much like how the User harnesses his dimension summoning skills, her powers enable Mage Bellator to create something from nothing. However, unlike the User, who currently faces no causal effects, she bore the cost of drawing from the endless universal mana pool, which can be quite taxing." The System reported.

"So, you're telling me that Peppers can take a handful of low-value items and turn them into something incredibly valuable?" Jin was fascinated that their worry was solved almost instantly.

Just then, with a flash of light, Peppers appeared before the trio, clad in her pajamas and munching on a snack. "What did I do to deserve being in the presence of Master and Yun?" she squeaked, her cheeks flushing as she instinctively tried to make herself smaller, overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation. After all, Yun was like an autoreactive mother figure which made sure that she was well disciplined whenever she was around her.

"Honestly, nothing much. I just need you to be my item generator," Jin said, his grin broadening. Peppers blinked in surprise, processing his request, until a gentle nudge from the System broke through their thoughts via telepathy.

"Oh. Oh…" she stammered, her posture shifting as she stood tall and summoned her staff. Instantly, a magical circle materialized in the air before them, vibrant with energy. With an incantation, the Mage Bellator conjured a creature that resembled a slime, though it was an inky black, embodying the essence of the darkest shadows.

"For tasks like this, just toss your items into this slime. I designed it specifically because every patron that visits—well, let's just say they like having their items upgraded at a price. My teacher wasn't exactly thrilled when I turned her teachings into an actual familiar, but hey, if it works, it works! Aren't nobody got time to always perform some stupid dancing ritual to get the item to be upgraded. Just remember, you need to keep upgrading its memory bank with new items from the world, which I believe the System can gather or procure from the Black Market, right?"

"Wait a minute," Jin interjected, a spark of excitement in his eyes. "Are you saying this peculiar slime can create anything, even replicas of Bam and Boo?"

"Ah, when it comes to original weapons," Peppers clarified, "it can replicate them, but do keep in mind that the replicas will have limited uses. Other than that, most weapons would have their rarity upgraded and the slime of mine can add in traits or additional skills. There are some randomness in the process because who do not like a gacha like slime…besides it earns lots of money doing like this…" Peppers muttered as the air in the room thickened with anticipation.

Everyone's eyes widened at the implications. The potential of what they could achieve was staggering. Jin's mind swirled with visions of battles fought, treasures reclaimed, and the triumphs that lay ahead for the adventurers.

And most importantly, profit.
