Wow! I actually sound like a real cat when I say that. I never thought that this new subskill from the Perfect Assimilation skill would be this useful. It is a subskill that lets me transform into one of my soulbounds indefinitely, but I would be in a chibi version of them.

The only downside is that I must not do any attacks or else the transformation would be undone. The good thing is that it will not break even if I get hit by attacks. I am just a cat that is incredibly tanky right now because I chose Kimat as the target.

I wanted to use Sirius, but High Wizard Dore said that there is a high official that hates dogs. In the end, I had to use Kima for this as cats are like the luxury pet even in ancient times or at least that is what I know. I could see Sirius being incredibly disappointed that I did not use him as a target for the transformation, but I told him that he needs to use Piggy Bank's shadow for now.

"Is that really you, Equinox?" Piggy Bank asked as he waved his hands at me which made me reflexively slap them.

"Ouch! You still have your strength it seems." Piggy Bank added.

"I just look like a cat, but I am still me." I responded via the chat as it seems speaking is not possible for now.

I did not want to cancel the skill as it has a long cooldown which is why I communicated with Piggy Bank via the message function. I told him to hold me like he is my owner that pampers me, and I cannot lie but it feels good. Does this mean that I really turned into a cat?

We do not own pets but there are some cats that sometimes wander off into our house from time to time. My mother feeds them sometimes but they never clung to her. The attachment was there but they seemed distant to her which was weird since they always gather when she brings out extra food. I can even see them stare into my soul if I form eye contact with them.

"Let's go!" I chatted in the messages which prompted Piggy Bank to go to the portals in Avalon since I cannot transfer us there.

"He said that we need to go. Are you ready? What about those three that passed out?" Piggy Bank stated as he looked towards the High Wizard Dore.

"I shall find a way to have them come with us as well." The High Wizard Dore stated as he conjured a wind spell that carried the three fainted knights with us.

I thought the transformation would not work but it seems that the guards did not suspect it. Usually, demons are perceptive when it comes to transformations, but they seem to think that I am a real cat. Piggy Bank asked the demon assisting in the portals to transfer us to the Merchant City of Mercado where the main guild is. Since Piggy Bank uses these coordinates often, they immediately created the portal for us to pass through.

There were some stares as to why there are three fainted knights being carried by the wind but that only became hot news for five minutes. After all the stares for five minutes, everyone turned back to what they were doing as is the culture in Avalon. As long as they are not dead, no one will bother to stop you as not even the Daemos Corps members are stopping us.

"The coordinates are set. You can now enter the portal." The demon stated.

"Thank you. Let us go, High Wizard Dore." Piggy Bank stated which made High Wizard Dore look incredibly excited.

It seems that High Wizard Dore has yet to enter a portal which is why he is literally flipping out in happiness. He was so excited that he told us that he will enter first to check the surroundings. Piggy Bank could only nod as he could not stop the excitement of the high wizard. After the High Wizard Dore and the passed-out knights entered the portal, we also entered as well.

The scenery changed quickly to that of the outside walls of the Merchant City of Mercado. It has incredibly high walls and a bustling line of people wanting to enter. This is the most entertaining city in the central continent after all. All types of things are here like pastries, restaurants, jewelry shops, and many others as this city is filled with merchants and crafters of all types.

The shops here are incredibly beautiful but the renting prices are also incredibly high. Even a small shop in the side road has a rent of a thousand gold coins per month. All those that dream big and take risks are located in this city. We easily entered the guarded walls as High Wizard Dore came with us.

He dropped off the three fainted knights and told the others to bring them to the sickbay. When the guards greeted High Wizard Dore with smiles, the greetings for Piggy Bank were rather lackluster. I could already feel that word has gotten around, but it seems that the guards here at the gate do not jump to conclusion. If they did, then would have already surrounded Piggy Bank to arrest him.

I do not know if he was still under suspicion or because we have High Wizard Dore with us but the journey to the main merchant guild was smooth. It did not take long for us to arrive at a large dome looking building with numerous spires. It was the biggest and most extravagant structure in this city as all of it was gold plated. The fact that no one has scrubbed off that gold is due to a magic that detects any that dare to do so.
