Chapter 2441 Eternal Snowstorm II

Frey and the Goddess Skadi suddenly felt the changes in the environment as the northern continent that already has very little sunlight became sunless. The changes in the environment also rattled the wolves that are watching the two fight as they can feel the energy of the Primordial Beast of Tundra. A domain that covered the entire northern continent has also made all the monsters that lived there become afraid.

“It seems that beast has already woken up completely.” The Goddess Skadi stated.

“I can no longer waste my time!” Frey thought as her resolved became even fiercer because she feels that her allies will not be able to endure if they really go against two primordial beasts.

“You should focus on the fight!” The Goddess Skadi stated as she thrusted her spear towards Frey.

“I am. More than ever.” Frey calmly stated as she crossed spears with the Goddess Skadi and this time the latter was actually pushed back.

The two continued their battle with Frey getting more determined as the fight grew longer. Frey did not know that she was awakening something inside of her. She was becoming a High Valkyrie at this very moment, and she is using the fight against the Goddess Skadi to achieve it. The Goddess Skadi felt the shift on her opponent which is why she also became much more serious.

In the room that is heavily guarded by guards of the kingdom, the Ice Queen Elona could be seen covered in gentle vines that glow in clean green energy. The vines were restoring her strength back to normal even if it is slow. The castle itself is protected from the gates until the quarters of the queen, but three shadowy beings managed to sneak inside.

These three shadowy beings used an artifact that turned themselves into shadows which made them evade the surveillance efforts of the guards. Once the artifact lost its power, the shadows that covered their bodies vanished without a trace. They made sure to also use another artifact that made other unaware of their movements.

These three beings were assassins sent by the Primordial Beast of Gluttony to kill the Ice Queen Elona. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony managed to learn of the legends regarding the Ice Queen Elona and speculated that she acts like a seal so that the power of the Heart of the Icy Abyss does not rampage. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony is correct as the Heart of the Icy Abyss will explode and destroy the kingdom with it should the Ice Queen Elona unexpectedly dies.

These assassins were ready and the best stealth unit that the Primordial Beast of Gluttony can command. They are the elite scout members of Kami which is the secret organization that wants to take the Heart of the Icy Abyss as well. They gently pushed the door and proceeded to enter the room where they saw the Ice Queen Elona in a sleep like state.

They also noticed the sudden foliage in the room as they felt the air inside of it is invigorating. The Ice Queen Elona was indeed heavily damaged as they were told by the Primordial Beast of Gluttony. All three of the assassins took out their daggers that were made from the fangs of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. This type of weapon would be able to kill the Ice Queen Elona, but it also freezes the hands of those that use it.

“Guests?” A voice that is deep and disturbing suddenly stated.

“Who is there?!” One of the assassins suddenly shouted but they did not see where the voice came from.

“Do not mind that voice! We are here to kill the Ice Queen Elona!” Another assassin stated and all of them agreed.

The three assassins jumped towards the Ice Queen Elona, but they did not expect that she also has a protective measure in place just in case of these things happening. The necklace of the Ice Queen Elona suddenly shined as it created a powerful blast of freezing energy that froze the bodies of the three assassins.

The three assassins suddenly crashed to the floor as parts of their bodies became solid ice. The unlucky one even got their leg broken as a result and lost it forever. The three assassins did not care though as they knew that they will definitely getaway as the protective charm of the Ice Queen Elona did not kill them.

“It matters not! All we need to do is warm ourselves enough so that we can unfreeze ourselves. Focus on doing that so we can kill the Ice Queen Elona!” The third assassin stated confidently because he is not as heavily frozen as the others.

“I actually needed some nourishment because the Ice Queen Elona took most of what I have.” The voice that is deep and disturbing stated once again, and the assassins finally learned that they were not hallucinating.

A large group of vines suddenly descended from the ceiling and opened up to reveal a monstrous like entity with skeletal features in the head. This was none other than Levin Cloud in his raw form as this is what really the Leshy looks like when they do not move. Leshy usually take on a humanoid form, but their very true form are parts of nature itself. Levin Cloud’s real body takes the form of a large bundle of vines that are healthy and dead at the same time.

“Perfect. All three of you will be useful for the Ice Queen Elona. Your deaths will not be in vain as all three of you served a higher purpose.” Levin Cloud stated as his vines grabbed the three assassins and started to pierce their skins. The screams of the three assassins were muffled as Levin Cloud inserted numerous vines into their open mouths. The three assassins that were supposed to kill the Ice Queen Elona are suddenly used as nourishment to heal her faster. The three assassins could be seen suddenly becoming thin as all the blood in their body is being sucked dry.

When the blood of their bodies was emptied out, a bunch of red roses suddenly sprouted from the vines that covered the entire room. Seeing that the energy was not enough, Levin Cloud pushed even further and drained whatever vitality that the three assassins have left. When he was done with all three of them, they were like extremely thin paper as even their bones turned to dust as they were broken down.

“It seems that even trash can be useful. The Ice Queen Elona might be able to recover in a few hours because of this.” Levin Cloud stated as he once again entered hibernation to focus on healing the Ice Queen Elona.

Levin Cloud would not have woken up if not for the sudden life signals that entered the room. He thought that they were maids or guards, but they were actually assassins. It was a good thing that the Ice Queen Elona has a protective charm that repelled her attackers. He then felt another powerful life force coming but he knows who this is.

“It’s the queen’s lover. I guess it is time to sleep again or else it will become awkward once more.” Levin Cloud stated as he entered his mental world to focus on healing the Ice Queen Elona. Aurgelmir also entered the room as he rushed here when he felt some foreign presences that dared to enter the

chamber of his beloved.

“Tch! That annoying thing is destroying half of our projectiles!” Ark stated as he looked towards the Primordial Beast of Gluttony.

“The most annoying thing is that he can redirect our attacks back. It feels like I

am fighting against the guild leader.” Basil grumbled.

The Primordial Beast of Gluttony might not have the ability to attack openly but it has an annoying way of redirecting attacks. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony can absorb attacks using a special ability and store them inside its stomach. The Primordial Beast of Gluttony can also release the attacks that it has absorbed back to the attackers. It also has the ability to mix the elements of the attacks and release the combined elemental attacks to deal huge amounts

of damage.

If it was just the Primordial Beast of Gluttony, then the players would have it easy but there is also the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is incredibly deadly as its attacks were heavy and powerful. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra swung its tail earlier to try and swat the flying players but failed to kill any of them.

What the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra was successful is sending all the flying players crashing to the snow. One swing of the tail of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra could create a powerful blast of wind that can easily blow anyone away. Even those that were further away felt the powerful air cannon that the tail created.
