Adrian arrived at the depths of Hell once again as he was invited by the Seven Devil Gods. Not all of them were there to greet him as only the Devil God Lucifer and the Devil God Beelzebub was there. The rest of the devil gods were minding their business as they no longer need to be there. The five of them just told them to give the reward to Adrian.

“You have succeeded in defeating the Primordial Beasts of Sin. Well, somewhat succeeded as it was not all you since others killed some of them.” The Devil God Lucifer stated.

“I am still the cause that they attacked the Primordial Beasts of Sin though.” Adrian stated.

“Oh? I am suddenly interested in how you will spin this tale.” The Devil God Lucifer stated.

“They would not have dealt with the Primordial Beasts of Sin if not for my sudden action against them. I started off by killing the Primordial Beast of Greed and then followed it by slaying the Primordial Beast of Gluttony. The death of the two ignited the desire to live for the rest but that also meant the need for them to reveal themselves. In a way, I made the Primordial Beasts of Sin become targets for the world itself.” Adrian stated.

As soon as Adrian finished his statement, the loud laughter of the Devil God Lucifer echoed in the halls of the castle in Hell. Even Beelzebub looked like he wanted to laugh but kept his composure. It took about ten minutes for the Devil God Lucifer to stop laughing. The Devil God Beelzebub had to fake cough to make the Devil God Lucifer stop his endless bout of laughter.

“Apologies as I have not laughed like that in a while. There is not much entertainment in Hell that can make me laugh.” The Devil God Lucifer stated with a smile.

“You mean… you finally met someone that could somewhat match your audacity.” The Devil God Beelzebub stated.

“Aside from the snide remarks of Beelzebub, what you say is somewhat true because you did make them move. Still, should I give you all the rewards when you did not even kill the others? Are you so shameless that you will take the credit of others?” The Devil God Lucifer stated as his angelic appearance suddenly looked charred and in flames for a split second.

“You did say that all I need to accomplish is to kill all the Primordial Beasts of Sin. I am still not done though as the Primordial Beast of Pride is still alive. I will get the reward once all of them have been killed. I just need to search for the last one and then you will no longer have any qualms of giving me that reward.” Adrian stated which made the Devil God Lucifer and the Devil God Beelzebub look at each other.

“What are you saying, mediator?” The Devil God Beelzebub asked in wonder.

“Are you still high in adrenaline from fighting that you are still looking for a beast that already died?” The Devil God Lucifer stated.

“What do you mean? The Primordial Beast of Pride is still alive as I have yet to receive a notification of its death.” Adrian suddenly blurted out.

“What was the last sentence you said? I could not make what you told me as if your existence faded out for that split second.” The Devil God Lucifer stated.

“Are you sure that the Primordial Beast of Pride is dead? From what I know, the death of the Primordial Beast of Pride has yet to be confirmed. The other primordial beasts of sin might have believed that the Primordial Beast of Pride has died but I do not believe it one bit.” Adrian stated.

“The Primordial Beast of Pride is already dead as I have been given back most of my share on the energy. The threat has been eliminated as you say as we also searched the memories from the sin energy. The Primordial Beast of Pride is dead, and I have regained control of the energy of pride once again.” The Devil God Lucifer stated but Adrian felt that something was wrong.

“You should not act humble, mediator. Take the key and take the reward you want from our combined vaults as agreed. You can only take one as we have agreed upon or else we will curse you to the point that even walking would become troublesome.” The Devil God Beelzebub stated as he gave a key to Adrian.

Adrian finally finished speaking with the two devil gods and got vanished from Hell. He was still under the impression that the Primordial Beast of Pride is still on the loose and has never died. Even if he got the top rewards and a hidden reward, he felt empty as if he did not complete a promise. Even if he was still a bit confused on the situation, the world itself was not as his name once again is announced.

Numerous articles and talks on the forums were talking about that Equinox is the real number one player as he basically got the top reward for the world quest. One could even see that he was a part of the people that subjugated four out of the Seven Primordial Beasts of Sin. Adrian did not care about that though as he believes he is correct.

“If my gut is true then this fight has yet to be over. The Primordial Beast of Pride might still be out there. I will just need to kill it when it shows itself eventually. It is not like it will become stronger as all of its siblings have been destroyed completely.” Adrian muttered as he walked to the guild house.
