Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 757 - 757: Hostilities and Calm [Bonus]The first person Kent saw was the Elven Queen.
Of course, he saw her beauty, which was undeniable. Elves are naturally beautiful, so he expected nothing less from their Queen.
However, while he saw something beautiful, the queen saw the cause of all her troubles.
First, four of her best younger generation lost their limbs in the most traumatizing way. Of course, they were scared forever, for their defeat was one they would never forget.
The last time any of them came out was when she sent them to Elarion in hopes of sabotaging the competition. But that didn’t happen, and now they can’t even show their faces.
Then came what he did to her soldiers. After their return from Elarion, they were never the same.
The discovery of some of the worst betrayals that shouldn’t have occurred between men who called themselves brothers was something that had caused a fracture that can’t be rectified.
However, if that wasn’t enough, he also went ahead and threatened their ancestor, Lady Aelith, who has since entered seclusion and hasn’t emerged yet.
It was some of the worst days of her life. And now, out of nowhere, the half-Elves are rising, and the worst part is that there was nothing she could do about it for her mother, as she had already warned her that doing something as foolish as attacking the half-Elves would be the end of them all.
All this added to the fact that she had asked for a meeting, and the half-Elves had the audacity to tell her they could meet her in five days and that she should come herself.
In the past, the half-Elves would have gone to them, but the tables have now turned on them. Now, they are the ones on the bad side of the coin.
Of course, there was Queen Jascia too, whom she knew deep in her heart that with her now back from the dead, things wouldn’t be the same anymore.
Two thousand three hundred ninety-eight years ago, she was a promising talent they were nurturing to lead the Elven army to greater heights.
They spent a lot of resources in the hope that when she reached the stage they wanted, she would be announced as their beacon of hope, for she was indeed worthy of being called so.
However, just when their investment was about to bear fruit, she grew wings instead and married into the race they’d been trying to suppress.
That alone was a giant slap to the Elves’ ego.
So seeing her alive wasn’t something they were happy about, and Queen Elenara made it plain from her frown.
Kent, just like Queen Jascia, was smiling as he gazed at the queen.
It was funny how hatred can make even the most beautiful look ugly. The Queen was at the moment ugly with hatred.
On the other side, in the direction of the Dragons, Uncle Drake was also looking at them with an expression that said he wasn’t even going to place them in his eyes.
To him, they are weak, and he showed it in his gaze.
Naturally, the arrogance was something the dragons noticed, and this pissed them off. King Veyron of the Flame Dragon race narrowed his eyes at Uncle Drake when he saw his smug expression.
He knew at first glance that the dragon walking among the Half-Elves wasn’t one of his. As the leader of his race, there was no way he wouldn’t recognize someone as impressive as Uncle Drake.
So this could only mean he wasn’t one of them. But then the question remains, “Where is he from?”
The answer remains a mystery. Of course, perhaps if they had asked, Uncle Drake would have told them, but their arrogance wouldn’t allow them to do that.
If anything, they are too prideful even to lower themselves and ask a question that would have perhaps been a waking moment for them.
But despite recognizing Uncle Drake’s presence, they would rather die than acknowledge him.
The demons were also looking at Kent with eyes that contained both animosity and weariness. They didn’t know whether to attack him or let him be.
But of course, for now, they wouldn’t dare cause any fight.
However, the same cannot be said for later. Knowing what they will gain giving him to the Hand, they already wanted to see him captured or even better, dead.
The Beasts and the Dwarves were the only ones looking at Kent and the Half-Elves with neutral expressions.
Unlike the other races, they don’t hold any animosity against the Half-Elves or Kent.
If anything, they want to know him more.
After the Half-Elves settled down, Kent looked at the Dragons and smiled.
‘They are as strong as expected of dragons. But damn, the arrogance is just too much. Can’t they be like everyone else and behave like normal people?’ Kent said inwardly before looking at the demons.
From their hostile expressions, it was clear they wanted his head. However, Kent wouldn’t allow them the courtesy. Of course, he wasn’t looking forward to a bloodbath.
‘The tower had activated the ‘Guardian Hand’ and ‘Guardian Allies.’ All I have to do is create a situation whereby they would ally with the Half-Elves.”
‘If I were to make all of them powerful, one of these days they will try to go to war to seize the resources of one another. Especially when I am not around
So there can be only one leader, and I chose the Half-Elves. One day, I can see a race connected to one powerful race that none of them could compete against, even if they were to combine forces.’
Of course, Kent has already planned everything to the last full stop.
He wasn’t trying to turn the Half-Elves into supreme monarchs. No, that is the last thing he wanted. However, he also wasn’t going to say he wouldn’t be biased.
He plans to make the Half-Elves his main stronghold so that, without even announcing their name, everyone will know they are powerful.
Then, using the second aspect of the Guardian Tower he had awakened, he would make the other races ally with the Half-Elves. This means that the moment this alliance is formed, his protection will also extend to them.
This also means that through an alliance alone, he will start earning soul essence from them.
But he wouldn’t be obligated to help them grow like he would for the Half-Elves. But then again, when he is done with the Half-Elves, their allies will gain the reward too.
In other words, instead of him going to their aid when they need help, the Half-Elves will do that for him, as they are allies.
He can’t stay in the Medium World forever, so he ought to ensure they have a way to survive on their own.
Of course, he can easily get back to a medium world even from an immortal world, but having an entire race take care of future issues is one he wouldn’t deny.
He might be in seclusion when something grim happens. Without a force to represent him, things will quickly go awry.
‘It would probably be easy to deal with the Dwarves first. The rest will happen eventually. But for now, the Dwarves are the target.’
Kent sighed and looked in the direction of the Dwarves. They were also looking back at him.
To the Dwarves, who are the richest in the entire world, being allies with the Half-Elves is something they will benefit from.
When it comes to creating something out of nothing, they are the best, so this was basically a chance for them to ally with the Half-Elves and Kent Madson, knowing full well the Humans and the Half-Elves are not simple at all.
They will soon have access to all the resources they couldn’t obtain.
