Chapter 3009: You You Cannot Defy Me!

Yu Liuli stared at Ning Shu in alarm as she retreated step by step toward the door.

She couldn’t understand what was happening. Why wasn’t this peacock feeling any pain anymore?

This had always been her only way to punish Kong Lin. If this method no longer worked, what could she possibly use to control this peacock?

“Kong Lin, I am your master. You… you cannot defy me!” Yu Liuli shouted, her voice sharp but shaky.

Despite the situation, Yu Liuli, always fearless and defiant, still stubbornly held her head high, exuding her usual arrogance.

Ning Shu slammed her teacup onto the table, causing the tea inside to splash out.

Yu Liuli’s heart skipped a beat. The contract still existed—she could feel it—so why couldn’t she command Kong Lin?

“Kneel,” Ning Shu commanded sharply. Yu Liuli’s body trembled in fear.

“I am—” Yu Liuli started to speak, but her body moved against her will, dropping to her knees with a heavy thud. Her knees hit the floor hard, and the pain made her face twitch.

Yu Liuli looked confused, unable to understand why she had just knelt before Kong Lin.

Humiliated, Yu Liuli—who had always knelt to neither heaven nor earth—forced herself to stand back up. “Kong Lin, what did you do to me?”

Ning Shu poured herself tea unhurriedly. “Did I say you could get up? Kneel.”

Once again, Yu Liuli’s knees hit the floor with a loud thud. The impact was so strong that her face went pale from the pain.

“You…” Yu Liuli lifted her head, her eyes filled with humiliation and hatred as she glared at Ning Shu.

Setting the teapot down, Ning Shu looked calmly at the kneeling Yu Liuli.

With the master-servant contract, the stronger the master, the greater their control over the servant.

Ning Shu’s control over Yu Liuli was far greater than Yu Liuli’s control had ever been over her.

Yu Liuli tried to stand but found her body completely unresponsive to her commands. Her face paled further as she asked, “What did you do to me?”

Her own body was no longer hers to control. If she could be forced to act against her will—or even take her own life—how terrifying would that be?

Ning Shu took a bite of a pastry. “I’m only doing to you what you’ve done to me.”

“Kong Lin, are you planning to retaliate against your master?” Yu Liuli was really scared now. However, as soon as these words left her mouth, realization flashed across her face and she stared at Ning Shu in disbelief.

“You… you…” Yu Liuli looked at Ning Shu, her eyes wide with horror.

Ning Shu nodded, a faint smile on her face. “Looks like you’ve figured it out. Yes, we have a master-servant contract, but now I’m the master, and you’re the servant.”

“That’s impossible. Impossible!” Yu Liuli’s face turned pale. “I didn’t dissolve the contract. How could you have reversed it? I don’t believe it!”

Ning Shu hummed nonchalantly. “Try it, and you’ll know.”

“Ahhh!” Yu Liuli clutched her head and collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain. Her face twisted in agony. “It hurts! It hurts so much!”

Ning Shu had always promised that one day, she would also allow Yu Liuli to taste the torment of having her soul torn apart.

As Yu Liuli wailed in agony, Ning Shu sipped her tea leisurely, as though she were enjoying a peaceful view.

Yu Liuli was drenched in sweat and in extreme pain. Yet despite the pain, she stubbornly refused to beg for mercy.

Through gritted teeth, she hissed, “Kong Lin, I swear I’ll kill you even if it costs me my life!”

“Sure, you can try at the cost of your life.” Ning Shu replied calmly. “After all, I can end you with a single thought.”

“I should have killed you back then,” Yu Liuli said, filled with regret that she had let this peacock live.

This peacock had never accepted being her servant.

She felt such regret now…

Yu Liuli rolled on the ground in pain, finally crying out, “Yin Tian, save me!”
