Chapter 1939: Chapter 1939: Want it?

“We need to find someone to ask around, we can’t say we’re from Huayan Peak. Just say we’re from Wulong Mountain; the prodigal sons of Wulong Mountain who have escaped to other planes and are unfamiliar with this place—that’s understandable.”

An Jiuyue put down her chopsticks and spoke to the two of them.

In this plane, it was clear they were at a disadvantage; they didn’t fully understand even what this environment was like. The tasks ahead were not going to be easy.

“When we arrive at the next town, I’ll go and inquire,” she said.

Yuu Rong raised both hands in approval of the suggestion. If they didn’t get to know this plane any better, he didn’t know if his old back could take it—he was already in too much pain from the collision earlier.

...

The next day, early in the morning, dawn had arrived, and the three of them quickly packed up their belongings, tossed them into the spatial storage, and set off.

They really had to race against time. They didn’t know if it would already be night by the time they reached the next small town. In the Eternal Night Plane, it was unclear whether the plane was vast or if there were few inhabitants.

Either way, they had traveled for a whole day yesterday, passing only a few small towns, and hadn’t seen a single large city.

After traveling for about dawn, finally, they came upon a small town. However, this town was not as bustling as Xingrong Town. Though the town was brightly lit, there were only a few people walking on the streets.

“I always feel there’s something strange about this Eternal Night Plane,” Yuu Rong remarked, finding the plane quite odd. They had passed by so many places, yet encountered only a few small towns. How was that possible?

It was as if there were hardly any humans in the plane at all, but in reality, there was no shortage of population here.

“Let’s find an inn to stay in and get a clear understanding of this peculiar plane,” An Jiuyue suggested.

“There’s an inn ahead.”

Qian Jiyun looked ahead and saw an inn in sight, and there seemed to be a few people inside.

“Let’s go, we’ll head over.”

“Yes.”

An Jiuyue followed Qian Jiyun into the inn, with Yuu Rong trailing behind.

“Are you three guests looking for accommodation?”

The worker in the inn immediately greeted them with a beaming smile.

In their place, having a group of guests to stay for the night was already considered booming business; anyone who came by was revered like an ancestor.

“Open two rooms for us first.”

Yuu Rong raised his hand and dropped a Beast Pill on the counter, wholly embodying the demeanor of a young master.

When the worker saw the Beast Pill, his eyes immediately lit up, and he took the pill into his hands and put it away.

“Two top-quality rooms for honored guests. Please come this way; I’ll take you there,” he said, leading Qian Jiyun and the others to the second floor with a stoop.

It didn’t take long for them to arrive in front of a guest room with the character ‘A’ written next to it.

“Honored guests, these two rooms are opposite each other and are the best rooms in our inn. Please, make yourselves at home,” the worker spoke as he opened the doors of the two rooms, looking at them with a broad grin.

“I’ll stay here.”

Yuu Rong gestured to the room closest to him.

“Sure.”

Qian Jiyun gave a soft acknowledgment and then took An Jiuyue into the other room.

Meanwhile, Yuu Rong had kept the worker in his own room, holding another Beast Pill in his hand.

“Do you want it?”
