“Devouring Eternity’s Law…” Almond muttered.

“Hi, I am Levia. If you don’t mind, would you like to have tea at my faction’s pavilion?”

Almond turned to the voice’s owner and saw the elf girl a couple of meters away.

He nodded at her and said, “Thanks for the invitation, but I can’t. I have a lot to do in a short time. But I would appreciate you telling me how to leave this library.”

Levia smiled and nodded, “Alright, then sometime later. As for leaving this library, the formation responds to your thoughts, so think about leaving, and this place will create an exit portal for you.”

Just as she finished speaking, Almond saw a student way behind her entering a portal that appeared before him.

He also thought about leaving, and an exit portal opened.

“Thanks,” Almond nodded at Levia and entered the portal.

Arriving outside the Phantom Library and looking at the scenery, Almond almost wanted to start training here, but he wanted to train in a time-dilated space if possible.

‘Surely this academy would have such a facility.’

There was a row of doors leading back to the Central Lobby, so Almond returned and went back to the central desk.

“Hello, Almond. It seems you picked your Prana Art.”

“Yeah,” Almond nodded. “Now I want to know if there’s any time-dilated place to train.”

“There is indeed. Do you see that area with a shape-shifting big door? That one will lead you to the Temporal Chambers, though you will need to spend Academy Points to use this facility.”

“Great. Thanks.”

Almond went there right away and entered the door before arriving on a peaceful plane of greenery under a sunny sky. However, high above in the sky were myriad islands, small in size, but big in number as they littered the sky.

Many islands had green light pillars hanging from their bottom, while many had red light pillars.

A screen appeared in front of Almond, telling him about this facility.

[Welcome to the Temporal Chambers. Each island is a separate dimensional chamber. You can simply go to one and adjust the time dilation. Your Academy Points will be deducted based on the use. Any island with a green-light pillar is unoccupied, and the red-light pillar indicates that the island is occupied.]

Almond flew up 20 kilometers as the islands were that high and arrived on an unoccupied island.

The size of the island was 500 meters in diameter. Truly small.

It had a pond, trees, boulders, and an overall peaceful environment.

The exit door was also there, so he could leave and return to Central Lobby from there.

At the center, near the spacious forest of trees with plenty of space was a square transparent crystal with words and symbols.

[Time Dilation Setting]

-1 day outside = 3 days here — 1000 Academy Points.

-1 day outside = 15 days here — 5000 Academy Points.

-1 day outside = 30 days here — 10,000 Academy Points.

-Note: If you leave halfway, you will lose the island and won’t be refunded.

‘Wow…’

Almond blinked.

‘To save time, the third option is most suitable, but if I encounter a block while training, I’d have to waste it.’

Almond decided to go with the first option for now and pressed on it.

1000 Academy Points were deducted, and a strange field enveloped the island while the scenery also changed.

It was as if the island arrived in a different world. There were more settings on the crystal regarding this as he could change the theme, which was apparently what just happened.

There was also an option to input a theme from the user’s mind, creating a scenery based on the input of the visualization from the user.

Almond pressed on the option to input a theme.

[Keep your hand on the crystal and visualize the scenery, please.]

A monotone voice spoke to him.

Almond closed his eyes and recalled the most impactful scenery of his life.

Omega of the Horizon.

‘Huh?’ Almond was taken aback.

Almond wrote the name in the box [Omega of the Horizon].

Almond knew this would only apply to the scenery and not the powers that were prevalent like he felt and perceived in the Omega of the Horizon.

However, when the scenery changed, Almond was once again surprised.

“What’s going on? This is not the Omega of the Horizon…” Almond frowned as he looked around.

The sky was utterly light blue, like an ocean with dreamy white rays, and he could see a huge Omega symbol on the horizon, light golden.

It was completely different from the phenomenon he encountered when using Insight Stone!

What he saw was eternal darkness, an absolute void everywhere except for the huge dark gold, shining Omega symbol with a clear feel of it being a door.

“This is wrong…” Almond muttered. “Even the Grimworld Tutorial’s system voice told me that I’d be able to see the X-rank Phenomenon Omega of the Horizon after ascending and be able to buy the chance to experience it again in some kind of shop.”

“Academy also has its information in the data, and the name is the same as well as the rank, so why is it completely different?”

Almond’s gut feeling told him that there was something very wrong about this.

‘Grimworld is the tree that essentially rules everything and makes everything a part of it. Even the seven thrones and the people on it are under Grimworld according to Big D.’

‘So how could I encounter that Phenomenon, but Grimworld and the Academy have a completely different version of it?’

Almond looked at the Omega and even though he knew this was just a scenery without any substance to it, it just…was way insignificant than what he experienced.

He suddenly had a thought. ‘What if there’s something…or someone out there who specifically made me see that via insight stone, but it doesn’t exist in Grimworld.’

Almond felt stupid and deeply frowned. ‘Is that even possible?’

‘But this is bad. If this is the Omega of the Horizon, then how am I supposed to revisit the phenomenon I experienced? It doesn’t fucking exist!’

Sighing, Almond shook his head and took out the Prana Art Book: Devouring Eternity’s Law.

He didn’t have time to dwell on that and opened the book to start practicing the Prana Art.

However, Almond didn’t know that his speculation was kind of right. What he saw wasn’t something, but it was shown to him by a power…outside of the Grimworld. A power that camouflaged itself as Omega of the Horizon, fooled the Grimworld and showed Almond something different, something more powerful, something more mysterious than the real X-rank Omega of the Horizon.

And a seed of that power had already been planted in him, waiting for him to uncover it so that he may revisit that scenery again and connect to the thread that someone extended to him.

It may take time to discover that seed, but it wouldn’t be long before he got the chance to revisit that scenery.
