Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class
Chapter 451 - 451: AftermathThe Big Ten clan leaders and their Supreme Emperors went to their ships first. They didn’t want to see Almond’s face anymore.
Inside the meeting room in one of the ships, the Durlin clan’s leader smashed his fist on the table, almost cracking it as he failed to hold back due to his anger.
“If not for his geneline, I would have killed him! Fuck!”
“All twenty Supreme Emperors you sent died, so your anger is justified,” one of the descender of the third layer spoke calmly. “The damage he dealt to us was not small.”
“This is the second time! Previously, he also killed a hundred of our Supreme Emperors.”
“The number of our Supreme Emperors is almost reaching half! We may have a lot more Immortal Emperors, but they are still growing and yet to reach Supreme Emperor status.”
“We can’t afford to get more of our Supreme Emperors killed by that bastard. We will lose our superiority if this continues.”
“Humph, the other clans don’t have the guts to go against us. We don’t need to worry about that.”
“Yes, what we need to worry about is making amends with this House of Regalon,” one of the descender spoke. It was a woman with wavy hair mix of black and dark green, faintly glowing.
She was the strongest among everyone present.
“You all displayed your anger quite clearly at the end. No longer masking, you’ve clearly declared that you will make sure the House of Regalons will be suppressed.”
“Humph, of course! You think we will smile like idiots after the damage he did to us so far?! We may have big stocks of resources, so those who died will reach Supreme Emperors again, but this is still a huge loss!”
“It’s safe to say that our alliance has been weakened by 30% overall just because of House of Regalon, and that’s concerning.”
“Alright, that’s enough,” the woman spoke again as her tone rang slightly cold. “Our priority is making our future better. I have sent the entire report to the third layer, and I will get the response soon. Let’s wait.”
Siengol clan’s leader looked at her as she was also a fellow Siengol, and said, “Lady Mespel, we do want the Geneline of the Regalon House absorbed within our alliance, but I think we will need more reinforcement. You’ve only seen one leader of the Regalon, but there’s also his wife, who is just as menacing and inexhaustible.”
“In fact, she may be more troublesome depending on situations because of her combat arsenal that’s more torturing and suppressive than Almond.”
“It’s a bit weird not to see her here in such a big event, but she may be in a closed-door training.”
“It’s here,” Mespel spoke as she closed her eyes. “The decision was fast and understandably so. After all, this is a chance we can’t afford to waste.”
Opening her eyes, she continued with an icy and stern expression. “We are to do everything to make amends with the House of Regalon. We must use extreme deceptive methods and everything at our disposal to make sure that Almond Regalon Crowshade ascends to our Reiulan Cosmos in the third layer, so he can be captured successfully.”
“And they will send Apex 50 Supreme Emperors below. Start creating their bodies.”
…
Big D’s force and Almond with the remaining Regalon puppets left.
Kexell sighed. “I wanted to fight too.”
“Shush, if you joined Almond, you would have died in 0.5 seconds at most,” Big D rolled his eyes.
“My Bloodline is not as strong as Almond’s!” Kexell cried out.
“You are just beginning to develop it,” Almond said with a chuckle. “Though of course, did you think you could best me?”
“Then why don’t you want to make me a Regalon?” Kexell puffed his cheeks.
Almond grinned and said, “Because of the future. I want you to develop your Geneline properly, and I am only giving you one and a half years for it. You can break through to Immortal Emperor anytime now, so spend your time perfecting both your abilities trees, and then your Geneline.”
“What are you thinking?” Big D asked as he blinked and added. “You want to combine Genelines like you and Rin did again?”
“Yep.”
Big D narrowed his eyes. “You should know there’s a limit to that, right?”
“I’m aware,” Almond faintly smiled. “My first Geno Gate showed me the limit when Lily and I completed the transformation of Bloodline into Geneline. I could feel that there won’t be much conceptual assets I would be able to add anymore, so that made it clear that a Geneline can’t just infinitely house different conceptual powers and evolve.”
“Yep, so does your Geneline still have potential remaining to include Kexell’s Geneline?” Big D asked.
“There is enough potential to be unearthed, yep. I will add important aspects of Kexell’s Geneline, only if he manages to make a rather strong Geneline,” Almond said as he turned to Kexell. “If you can do that, I’ll make you a Regalon after adding your geneline.”
“And if your Geneline isn’t noteworthy enough, I can still make you a Regalon, but I won’t add it to my Geneline.”
Kexell blinked twice and grinned as he clenched his fist. “Fuck, now I want to make sure that I impress you with my damn Geneline!”
“Then you better train like a madman.”
“Just wait, I’ll show you!”
…
In the third layer, Floor 85th of the Abyssal Grim Tower.
On this massive floor, there were territories of a multitude of Deity Familias, and the most recent addition was none other than Ruined Achromatic Familia.
After Lily became the Chief Goddess of this familia, it rose quickly. During the past months, they cleared challenges of the Abyssal Grim Tower and climbed to the 85th floor before conquering a territory from a Deity Familia there and establishing themselves there.
But this was the limit.
Inside the Chief Palace, Lily was in a meeting with the God Council.
“We will stop on this floor for the foreseeable future and will shift to another goal now,” Lily said as she narrowed her eyes. “My personal goal, unrelated to this familia, but eventually, this familia will merge with the House of Regalon when they ascend here as I have already announced.”
