Chapter 1180 Rewarding The 9th Division

A few moments later...

Izroth left the office with Niflheim and walked out before the members of the 9th Division. The moment they did so, Izroth was greeted by a familiar voice.

"Welcome back, Captain. There is much to be discussed once this situation reaches its conclusion." Menerva said as she walked up and stood next to Izroth and Niflheim.

"You've worked hard during my absence. If there is anything you require, feel free to let me know. I look forward to your report." Izroth said in a carefree manner before he returned his attention forward.

Izroth swept his gaze across the crowd of players and noticed that every member of the 9th Division had gathered. Even the ones who were offline rushed over without hesitation.

Of course, this was not too surprising as no one wanted to miss out on what they had all been waiting for—the rewards given by their captain, the owner of the Mystical Realm Palace.

"First, I want to say that everyone here has performed their roles well since joining the 9th Division. I have thrown you into many unfavorable situations since our journey began; however, not once did any of you complain about it. Though we haven't known each other long, you played your trust in me, Lieutenant Niflheim, Lieutenant Menerva and one another." Izroth started.

He then continued, "Alright, I have made all of you wait long enough. I'm sure that Lieutenant Niflheim has already informed you of the reason why I called here. Those who are a part of my 9th Division must be rewarded for their efforts. The rewards I prepared this time around are somewhat special."

Listening to Izroth's words, the members of the 9th Division could barely contain their excitement as an atmosphere of anticipation overtook the building.

"I will start with the three individuals who displayed the most outstanding performance. When I call your name, come up to the front. Bellum, Champion and—Love Mist." Izroth called out.

Upon hearing their names called, Bellum and Champion walked up to the front.

On the other hand, Love Mist stood dumbfounded with an expression of shock on her face. Did she hear that correctly? Was it really her name called just now?

"Hey, the Captain called your name. Hurry up and go up there." Revel whispered from behind Love Mist.

Revel's words caused Love Mist to snap out of it as she made her way toward the front.

"Bellum, thanks to your skills, everyone was able to safely make it through the Cave Mortem Monsoon and Ferae Jungle. You also played a role in the success we had at the Night Lord's Crypt. As a reward, you will receive 250 gold coins, a Self Awakening Pill and this-" Izroth said as he held out the palm of his hand.

The members of the 9th Division could not believe their ears. There was still more? With the current conversion rate, the 250 gold coins alone was worth 37,500 RMB! To most of those present, that was more than what they earned over the course of several months!

"Could it be a grade four pill?" Bellum thought to herself as her brows rose in surprise.

"You will be the very first person to receive this pill. But, I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed with its effect. It is called the Latent Attainment Pill. As for its effect, it will be better if you see it yourself." Izroth said as he used the Law of Wind to send the Latent Attainment Pill before Bellum.

Bellum held out her hands and accepted the pill as she examined it in more detail.

"A pill like this is also possible...?!" Bellum exclaimed softly as she read over the pill's effects.

"I thought he was being generous with the 250 gold coins, but a pill like this—I'm afraid even if one had pay 10,000 gold coins to get their hands on one, they wouldn't hesitate." Bellum thought to herself with furrowed brows.

Bellum was the ex-vice guild leader of Broken Exile; therefore, she had a better understanding than most when it came to the value of things and what those at the top were willing to pay for it. In truth, even 10,000 gold coins may not be enough.

"I will look forward to your future performance." Izroth replied casually as he also sent over a small bag that contained 250 gold coins and a single Self Awakening Pill.

Izroth then directed his attention toward Champion.

"Champion, although I was not there to witness it myself, Lieutnant Niflheim has told me of your performance at the Nightfall Glades against the Pzenium forces. You also showed some promise during the raid on the Night Lord's Crypt. I trust Lieutenant Niflheim's judgment and my own insight into others." Izroth stated.

He then continued, "As a reward, you will receive 250 gold coins, a Self Awakening Pill and you may place a request at the Mystical Realm Palace for an item of your choice. You need not worry about the cost."

"Oh! Does this mean I can request a greatsword?!" Champion said excitedly.

Niflheim cleared his throat as he glanced at Champion with a meaningful look in his eyes.

Champion rubbed the back of his head and said, "Ah, I mean- Thank you, Captain. Don't worry, I'll continue to do my best for the 9th Division, heh."

Niflheim shook his head and let out a small sigh as a helpless smile formed on his face.

Izroth handed over a small bag to Champion that contained the 250 gold coins and Self Awakening Pill. At the same time, he also handed over a similar bag to Love Mist as he redirected his focus toward her.

"Love Mist, it was thanks to your watchful eyes that we avoided a troublesome situation in the Ferae Jungle. You also demonstrated excellent leadership qualities when it came time to lead the Assault Groups on the attack that eventually led to the successful capture of the sixth princess of Tempest. Lieutenant Menerva has also told me of your efforts under her command. As a reward, you will also receive 250 gold coins and a Self Awakening Pill." Izroth said calmly.
