Chapter 1132: Uzumaki Naruto of Konohagakure vs Itsuki of Sunagakure IV

At the Stands

Everyone in the stands watched in terror as the ominous, seven-tailed mass of orange chakra condensed into a Tailed Beast Bomb.

The people of Konohagakure knew all too well the terror of the Nine-Tails.

Though nearly thirteen years had passed since that dreadful night, the image of the monstrous fox rampaging through the village remained seared into their memories. The destruction, the screams, the overwhelming sense of helplessness—it was all still vivid.

So, when they saw that same terrifying presence beginning to reemerge at the center of the arena—even if not fully formed, even if only in a seven-tailed state—fear took hold of them once more. Their palms grew sweaty, and their minds raced with dread as if their lives were flashing before their eyes. At that moment, it felt as though death was imminent.

No one knew who started it, but suddenly, a panicked voice rang out—

“We… we have to evacuate…”

Like a spark igniting dry tinder, the murmur spread. First one, then another, then dozens more.

“We have to get out of here…!”

“This is the Nine-Tails…!”

“If we stay, we’re all going to die…!”

Panic erupted in the stands, a single desperate thought consuming them all—Run. Or die.

Just as the crowd was about to break into a frenzy, scrambling to flee the arena in terror of another Nine-Tails attack, several figures suddenly appeared before them.

Uchiha Shisui, Uchiha Shinichi, Senju Tsunade, the Toad Sannin Jiraiya, and Elder Hiruzen, along with the Konoha Military Police Force and the ANBU, stood firm between the arena and the panicked spectators.

Their presence alone was enough to instill reassurance without the need for words. It was as if they silently declared: ‘Do not fear.’ ‘We are here to protect you.’ ‘There will be no second Nine-Tails attack on Konoha while we stand guard.’

Murmurs of hope spread through the crowd.

“We… we don’t need to worry… Sandaime-sama is here.”

“Uchiha Shisui-sama is with them… I heard he’s even stronger than the Nine-Tails!”

“And Hokage-sama is watching over everything… so there’s probably no need to panic.”

“Hatake Kakashi-sama is also there. If things get out of control, he can teleport the Nine-Tails away with his Jutsu.”

“Yeah… we… we should be safe…”

Their words, though shaky, carried growing confidence. Academy instructors and officials joined in, reassuring the crowd that the barrier was strong enough to withstand even the power of the Nine-Tails. Slowly but surely, the rising panic began to subside.

The shinobi from other villages, watching the battle from their respective waiting rooms, were equally unsettled. However, as they observed the situation unfold—the crowd gradually calming down and the Kages remaining composed—it became evident that, at the very least, those outside the arena were not in immediate danger.

With this reassurance, they chose to stay where they were and continue watching the match.

Though, at this point, calling it a fight seemed generous. To them, it was only a matter of moments before Itsuki of Sunagakure either surrendered or met his end.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere inside the Sunagakure waiting room was thick with tension.

Maki, Temari, Shira, Kankurō, Sen, Yome, and Baki all shared the same desperate thought. In unison, they shouted, “Itsuki, withdraw from the fight! It’s not worth dying for!”

Despite being Itsuki’s teammates and companions, they no longer believed he had any chance of winning. And they weren’t wrong.

It was precisely because they had grown up together, trained side by side, and knew his strengths, weaknesses, and limits better than anyone that they understood the harsh reality—Itsuki stood no chance now that Uzumaki Naruto was tapping into the power of the Nine-Tails.

VIP Stand

“You’ve got to be kidding me… Is Uzumaki Naruto really about to use a Tailed Beast Bomb here? ” Exclaimed Pakura, shooting up from her seat. “Is he out of his mind, or has he lost control of the Nine-Tails?”

“He can’t be allowed to use that attack in the arena!” Raikage growled, standing as well, his expression dark. “Most of the people here will die!”

“It’s not just the audience… even the Daimyō are here!” Ōnoki added, his face tense with panic. “That thing is too dangerous—too catastrophic—to be used in a place like this!” He quickly turned to ‘Kuroto,’ the Hokage, his voice urgent. “Hokage, stop him! This fight needs to end now! If that Tailed Beast Bomb is fired, we have no idea how many people will die. It’s far too risky!”

Though his words carried weight, his concern wasn’t just for Konoha’s citizens or its shinobi—his greatest fear was for the Daimyō. If any of them were harmed, the consequences would be disastrous. Entire nations could fall into chaos, and the backlash against the shinobi world would be uncontrollable.

‘Kuroto,’ however, remained calm, his voice steady as he assured the other Kage, “The barrier we’ve deployed is strong enough to withstand a single Tailed Beast Bomb without issue. The first one won’t cause any harm, nor will it put the lives of those in the stands at risk. There’s no need for unnecessary concern.”

Raikage shot him a skeptical look. “How can you be so sure?”

“We’ve already verified its strength,” ‘Kuroto’ replied without hesitation.

In truth, he hadn’t personally tested anything. However, the barrier formation had been given to him by Kuroto, who assured him of its strength—strong enough to contain even a Tailed Beast Bomb. Though ‘Kuroto’ didn’t know for certain if it would hold, he trusted Kuroto’s judgment completely and was willing to stake his word on it.

“Since that’s the case, it all comes down to the Sunagakure Genin now… If he doesn’t want to die a pointless death, he needs to surrender,” Yagura suddenly remarked, his gaze fixed on the arena.

While the barrier formation around the arena could withstand the impact of a Tailed Beast Bomb, that didn’t mean Itsuki of Sunagakure could.

Everyone, including Pakura, silently acknowledged the inevitable—this fight was already lost. There was simply no way for Itsuki to turn the tide. At this point, there was nothing he could do to change the outcome, not when seven of the Nine-Tails’ chakra tails had already been unleashed.

Naruto, in his current state, had an overwhelming reserve of chakra. He could fire dozens of Tailed Beast Bombs without exhausting himself. Meanwhile, Itsuki was barely holding on, his chakra reserves dwindling rapidly.

The difference in power was undeniable.

With a sigh, Pakura called out to her adopted son, her voice firm yet filled with concern.

“Itsuki! Don’t be stubborn! You’ve done enough—now surrender! This fight isn’t worth your life!”

In her eyes, there was no shame in admitting defeat when the stakes weren’t high enough to justify dying. If victory was impossible and nothing could be gained from continuing, then there was no reason to throw one’s life away.

She didn’t want to lose Itsuki over a meaningless battle.

At the Arena

Seeing the red and blue chakra bubbles separate from Naruto’s body and condense into a massive sphere, Itsuki immediately recognized what was being prepared.

Although years had passed, he had witnessed this technique before—back when Gaara, the son of the Fourth Kazekage and the Jinchūriki of the One-Tail, would go on rampages in Sunagakure. During those times, Gaara had also unleashed this very same attack.

“He… he’s using the Tailed Beast Bomb!”

The sheer devastation caused by Tailed Beast Bombs was still seared into his memory. Even though the one Naruto was forming wasn’t as massive as the ones Shukaku had unleashed, the overwhelming chakra radiating from it sent shivers through his body. The pressure alone was enough to make his legs tremble.

‘I… I have to do something…’

With that thought in mind, Itsuki hurriedly formed a series of hand signs, gathering all the surrounding Iron Sand to create several massive iron fists. Without wasting a second, he launched them toward the seven-tailed mass of chakra condensing the Tailed Beast Bomb.

‘Iron Sand: Black Fists!’

Unfortunately, the attack was effortlessly thwarted. The seven chakra tails flailing around Naruto’s form weren’t just for show—they possessed immense strength. Each tail lashed out with overwhelming force, shattering the iron sand fists with ease. Itsuki’s attack was crushed unilaterally, leaving him wide-eyed as he realized just how powerless he was against this level of raw power.

“What… what do I do?” Itsuki murmured to himself, feeling utterly helpless. At this point, no strategy came to mind—nothing that could help him defeat Uzumaki Naruto, who was on the verge of completing the Tailed Beast Bomb.

As if in response to his uncertainty, a deep voice echoed in his ears, “Give up, boy… you have no chance of winning. If I release this attack, there is nothing you can do to stop it… you will die. The smartest thing to do right now is to stay alive, and for that, you must admit defeat.”

“Huh? Who…?” Itsuki was taken aback by the voice. His gaze darted toward Naruto in Pseudo Jinchūriki form in the distance, suspicion creeping into his mind. ‘Was that him?’

It made the most sense—Naruto had to be the source of the voice. But before he could dwell on it any further, several other familiar voices from the stands cut through his thoughts, reaching him loud and clear.

“Itsuki! Don’t be stubborn! You’ve done enough—now surrender! This fight isn’t worth your life!”

“Itsuki, withdraw from the fight! It’s not worth dying for!”

The desperate pleas of his adoptive mother and squadmates echoed around him, urging him to make the only rational choice left.

Hearing their desperate pleas and seeing the nearly completed Tailed Beast Bomb, Itsuki let out a heavy sigh. Raising both hands in surrender, he finally said, “I give up…”
