Reborn with Steve Stand

Chapter 736: Reviving Delezie

"Phase two begins now."

Fang Mo drew Laevatein and looked up at the adventurers in the distance.

An immensely powerful and vast aura surged into the sky, causing the entire desert to tremble, and the previously clear sky to quickly darken.

While some adventurers on the battlefield were still barely able to stand, now they couldn't even manage that. The terrifying aura, as if staring into an abyss, was so overwhelming that it could crush their minds. Many of them fainted instantly.

Even the few who didn't fall unconscious could only struggle to hold on.

Without any unnecessary words, Fang Mo activated a time stop. As the spherical force field rapidly expanded outward, the entire world froze in that moment.

Seeing the time stop take effect, Fang Mo slowly walked toward Summon.

With a single hand, he casually grabbed the female Ghost Swordsman's weapon, and then with the other hand, he thrust forward. With a pff sound, the thick Laevatein pierced through her body, creating a huge wound extending from her collarbone to her abdomen.

"And now, time flows again."

With Fang Mo's calm words, the world suddenly regained its color in the next second.

"Wha..."

The female Ghost Swordsman, who had been resisting the aura, suddenly felt a numbness in her chest. She instinctively looked down and was stunned, "Wha... what..."

"No one can harm what I cherish."

As Fang Mo spoke, he slowly clenched the hand holding her blade, crushing it with a crack.

As for the female Ghost Swordsman, blood gradually flowed from her mouth, and then she fell powerlessly backward. Fang Mo pulled Laevatein back and casually flicked off the bloodstains.

"You bastard!"

Her companions, seeing this, were furious.

"Wait, adventurers, you are no match for him..." Iris tried to say something, but they couldn't hold back and charged at Fang Mo.

However, someone was faster than them—the Three Sword Masters.

Aside from the short sword Vaughn, who had been killed instantly, the remaining three Sword Masters were nearby and attacked without hesitation upon seeing this scene.

Bwanga swung his totem pole at Fang Mo's head.

Aganzo slashed at Fang Mo's left waist with his greatsword, while Siran thrust his longsword at Fang Mo's neck.

"Shinra Tensei."

Facing their combined attack, Fang Mo casually made a fist with one hand. The Void Ring emitted a purple light, and a powerful repulsion force instantly sent them flying.

Even the sand dunes under his feet were lifted, creating a massive sandstorm.

It's worth noting that Summon was also sent flying, but fortunately, she had the ring given by Fang Mo. Several thick, spiny tentacles immediately emerged, enveloping her into a ball, cushioning the impact.

The tentacle ball rolled far on the sand but kept Summon unharmed.

Back at Fang Mo's side, after repelling the Three Sword Masters, the other adventurers rushed over.

A girl dressed as a cleric didn't attack but instead caught the female Ghost Swordsman and began using divine magic on her.

The other adventurers gritted their teeth and approached Fang Mo, resisting his overwhelming presence. Fang Mo observed them: a few Ghost Swordsmen, three clerics, two Qi masters, a peculiar mage with glowing runes, and a Night Stalker surrounded by dark energy.

They managed to withstand Fang Mo's pressure, indicating their significant strength. Unlike the previous ragtag adventurers, these were experienced warriors who had undergone multiple awakenings.

This lineup would have been strong even in a raid against Luke, the Overlord of Time and Space, or Prey.

Their coordination was impressive. The cleric started enhancing their team, the Qi masters infused their weapons with Qi, and the Blue Fist Master planted a totem in the ground.

Despite the lengthy description, all this happened in an instant.

But just as they prepared to fight Fang Mo to the death, Fang Mo casually swung his hand, and Laevatein's giant blade cut a brilliant arc in front of him.

The sun-steel blade vibrated slightly, molten lava-like flames poured out, forming a river of fire around him. In an instant, the sand beneath Fang Mo's feet began to boil. This primordial fire, capable of destroying the divine realm, forced everyone back.

Two adventurers, slower to retreat, caught fire and burst into flames.

In the end, an Asura waved his hand, sending an ice wave forward to extinguish the flames on the two, though they were severely injured, with their bodies nearly charred and limbs falling apart.

"Damn it! What kind of monster is he!?"

Seeing their fallen companions, the remaining adventurers clenched their teeth and looked at Fang Mo.

Surrounded by a fiery halo and wielding a giant sword, Fang Mo walked towards them like a deity. The sand beneath his feet vaporized, leaving pits covered in embers.

As they stared at him, Fang Mo spoke calmly.

"Mortals, how dare you touch the sun?"

Hearing this, the adventurers felt true despair. Despite being at the pinnacle of their professions and mastering their skills, they felt an overwhelming sense of powerlessness against this monster.

Powerlessness indeed.

This being could defeat an entire adventurer army barehanded. His absurd physical power was unmatched in both offense and defense. Despite their continuous efforts to attack him, nothing could harm him.

Even the supposedly anti-apostle technology of the Sky Realm, like the Ancient Particle Cannon and Gaboga's Fist, was useless against him. They couldn't even scratch his skin. Even the Three Sword Masters didn't know what to do.

His body seemed invulnerable to any material or method.

This made him nearly unbeatable. Yet, he hadn't even used his full strength. Just drawing his weapon and swinging once had already rendered them helpless, evaporating anyone who charged at him.

How could they protect Arad with such a monster?

"Is it over?"

An adventurer subconsciously stepped back.

But quickly, someone held his shoulder. A Blue Fist Master approached, accompanied by a mage who had transformed into a tall and mature form through magic, now a Beiana Battle Goddess.

"We can't stop here."

The Blue Fist Master resolutely charged forward, "Annihilation Strike!"

"God, protect us!" A paladin behind him invoked divine power, enveloping the Blue Fist Master in a translucent shield to withstand the flames.

But in the next second, Fang Mo raised his hand and struck with a fist.

His fist was covered in an inky black sphere with terrifying arcs of electricity. As he punched forward, space twisted around it.

Without any suspense, the Blue Fist Master's shield shattered instantly. The powerful punch exploded, disintegrating his wrist, arm, shoulder, and half his body.

"Wha..."

The others were stunned, but before they could react, Fang Mo teleported behind the Beiana Battle Goddess and struck with another punch.

This time, she vanished completely.

With their leaders down, the remaining adventurers finally broke. This wasn't a contest of strength; they were utterly powerless. Many began to waver, and some even knelt in defeat.

Fang Mo surveyed the battlefield. It was already ravaged, similar to Madara Uchiha's battle with the Allied Shinobi Forces. But unlike Madara, who faced village leaders, these were far from that level.

Fang Mo had considered summoning a meteor, but seeing their broken spirit, he deemed it unnecessary.

"How boring."

Shaking his head in disappointment, Fang Mo ignored the adventurers and walked toward the Village of Pain.

"Wait... wait!"

Just as he took a few steps, someone tried to stop him.

Fang Mo didn't stop, recognizing the voice of one of the Three Sword Masters. They seemed to be blocking his path, "The battle... isn't over yet!"

"?"

Turning his head slightly, Fang Mo saw the three were indeed seriously injured, especially Bwanga, covered in blood. Despite this, he stared at Fang Mo with determination.

Fang Mo, however, was growing bored. Ignoring their resistance, he continued toward the village, "Come if you want to die."

The desert wasn't far from Delezie's location.

After walking for a few minutes, Fang Mo entered the Village of Pain. This was where Delezie's essence had been transferred, though Helder seemed to have killed him. Fang Mo didn't care, as he had plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

Reaching the village square, Fang Mo saw signs of battle and some black-purple goo, possibly blood.

"This should be it."

Summoning Steve with a thought, he quickly placed several dark stones on the ground. With the Abyssal Book and the Gatekeeper's Staff in hand, he began a ritual.

As the altar activated, ancient and sinister whispers filled the air, and pure dimensional energy flowed into the altar. The space around Fang Mo blurred as if gripped by an unseen hand.

This time, he was performing a time-reversal ritual.

"What is this..."

As Fang Mo performed the ritual, the Three Sword Masters, who had followed him, were puzzled. To them, the apostle Delezie was dead, and his plan had failed. Why was this man performing a ritual here?

"We must stop him."

Bwanga struggled to rise.

But before he could act, several tentacles emerged from the ground, binding them in place.

"Please, stop killing yourselves."

A voice came, and the Three Sword Masters saw a dirty snow-clad mage. Siran's face changed, "Damn, the Poison Queen... we forgot about her..."

"Say that again!!!"

Summon yelled.

At that moment, the time-reversal ritual activated.

As if an invisible hand was rewinding time, the surroundings began to reverse rapidly, skills flying through the air without visible users, and dimensional rifts appearing.

Black-purple particles emerged from the rift, forming a blurry figure.

Finally, the rift expelled this figure.

"Oh, it's done."

Fang Mo stopped the ritual.

The eerie scene disappeared, replaced by a boar-like apostle Delezie, bewildered by the sight.
