“You should give it a name now, Justicio.”

Aquarina analyzed the spirit she created, which Justicio had now made a contract with, she was surprised she could make one without naming it, as it was usually a prerequisite to make one to begin with.

However, because the spirit initiated the contract, it seemed it was possible to skip that step, although she had never heard of anybody doing it until now.

“A name? Do I have to? I’m terrible at naming things…” Justicio complained, having already gone back to his normal form, the insectoid armor over his body disappearing, he discovered he could summon it or retract it as he wished. “I’ll probably give it a terrible name… Can’t you help?”

“Goodness, I’ve already helped you a lot man!” Aquarina complained. “Hm, just call it something related to its color or appearance.”

“Worm then?” Justicio asked.

“Yep, you’re fucking terrible at naming never mind,” Aquarina sighed.

“I told you so!” Justicio complained. “How about… White?”

“Terrible name, once it evolves it’ll stop being white anyways,” said Aquarina. “Try not to name them after their colors.”

“Dammit…” Justicio sighed, resting over the floor. “Aaah… Uh… Hmmm… How about… Insecto!”

“Isn’t that just insect?” asked Aquarina.

“Seriously I told you my naming sense is bad!” Justicio cried.

“Ugh, well, whatever, we’ll figure out a name,” said Aquarina, crossing her arms as she glanced at the worm-shaped spirit. “I guess you and Silvia now have more in common, both of you got bug spirits! Hahaha!”

“Yeah I guess we got that in common now,” Justicio felt rather happy. “Ah, I’m hungry…” he felt his stomach rumbling.

“Come, let’s go have some breakfast…” said Aquarina. “Did you have any breakfast though?”

“Ah, not yet, thank you,” Justicio smiled.

Aquarina noticed he had indeed become taller and huger, she seemed to feel proud that the smaller Justicio had finally gotten a nice growth spur.

And she couldn’t wait to rub it all over her mother, that didn’t trust her!

“Hey mom! Dad!” she called them, finding them having breakfast downstairs. “Look who’s back! And the boy got bigger too!”

Justicio walked downstairs a bit embarrassedly, as Aquarina’s parents instantly analyzed his physique and aura.

“W-What?! It worked?!” Nepheline gasped in disbelief. “Justicio, my boy! It seems you’ve gotten stronger now! Congrats! I guess I should’ve trusted my crazy daughter a bit more, my bad.”

“I’m not crazy!” Aquarina said angrily.

“Congratulations, Justicio,” said Shade. “You’ve finally given a step towards growing stronger. Your Physique seems to have developed really well, and your Beast Aura is strong. Also, is that a spirit contract?”

“H-How were you able to detect all of that, uncle?!” Justicio was shocked.

“It’s easy to tell those things when you become as strong as us,” Shade smiled, drinking some tea. “Now come, sit down and share a meal with us, you’re welcome.”

“Thank you…”

Justicio ate with everyone, tasting the delicious and rare pancakes that Nepheline prepared, the only pancakes in the entire village.

They could make all sorts of special meals thanks to the many ingredients the heroes brought within their spatial storage items, which weren’t common at all in these lands.

After having a meal to die for, including pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon, freshly baked bread with butter, delicious cheese, and chocolate milk, Justicio felt like he was in heaven.

Usually the breakfast for him was a huge piece of roasted meat and some fruit, maybe sometimes he would get some goat milk, but it didn’t taste as good as the milk that they were serving him here!

“I can’t believe Aquarina eats this deliciously every morning…” Justicio was surprised. “It’s all so good…”

“Hahaha, you think so?” laughed Nepheline. “We got a huge amount of stuff stashed inside of our inventory items, probably for several years, we prepared quite a lot. You can come eat with us whenever you feel like, boy.”

“R-Really?!” Justicio gasped.

“Yeah, I mean, you’re my daughter’s friend, right?” said Shade. “I know she has a peculiar personality, so not every kid would want to befriend her due to her… well, intensity. So we’re grateful you’ve become her friend. Before you two appeared, she was always crying about Sylphy and her other friends not being here, but since you befriended, she had been slowly recovering and getting better.”

“D-Dad!” Aquarina became flustered when her father mentioned her crying so much.

“So you were crying all the time, Aquarina? I’m sorry about that…” Justicio didn’t mock her, however. “I guess you really loved your friends.”

“A-Ah… I didn’t expect you to be empathetic, I thought you would throw at me a joke or something…” Aquarina crossed her arms, sighing. “But yeah, I still miss them, and you two are never going to replace my old friends, okay? But… you’re also new friends, and I appreciate you two for that.”

“What she means is that she’s happy you’re her friend,” Nepheline said, laughing. “She gets like this every time she has to speak her feelings, this girl is like that.”

“Thanks,” Justicio nodded, smiling. “I’ll try to come sometimes, but I don’t want to leave my parents alone either. They’ll think I’ve replaced them with another family…”

“That’s alright too,” said Nepheline. “Look, because you’re quite prideful, how about you purchase food from us so you can share it with your family? I can sell you ingredients to make these meals easily. You bring me anything of value and we’ll sell you. Let’s call it our exclusive shop because you’re my daughter’s friend, alright?”

“R-Really?! Thanks!” Justicio was very happy he would be able to taste all these delicious meals again even at home. “And yeah, I couldn’t have ever taken these things for free back home, it would simply be too shameless… but if I can purchase them, then I’ll try to find things I can exchange.”

Nepheline was going to exchange food for anything actually, so she didn’t care what the boy would bring, but the sole thing about having prices and such, made things feel fairer for him.

“Alright! We’re done, right? Let’s go get Silvia so we can go find the second ornament of that bug!” said Aquarina. “Hurry!”

Aquarina grabbed Justicio by the arm and dragged him around with her monstrous strength.

“Aquarina wait! I haven’t finished eating!”

“You’ve eaten enough already!”

“Noooo! I wanted another pile of pancakesssss!”
