Chapter 1045: Warship

After half an hour of a lecture conducted by Chao Shen, the room was filled with dead air.

Xu Feng’s eyes were listless, almost as if he had gotten through many wars.

"Feeling drowsy yet, youngster?" Chao Shen placed his hands by his hips and roared in laughter.

"No, Handsome Chao." Xu Feng shook his head. "Rather than drowsy, it’s more correct to say I’m bored of the lecture which I have answered flawlessly since the beginning."

Upon seeing how polite he became, Chao Shen smirked in joy. Nevertheless, he didn’t attempt to gloat for much long. His expression turned solemn as he retrieved a small glass container.

"This is the silver ranked warship, and all I hope is that you return safe and sound. The mission is important, but not as important as life." He declared.

To further emphasize his point, Chao Shen even promised, "As long as you return safe and sound, regardless of failure, you’ll get to keep the silver ranked warship."

It was clear that Chao Shen was satisfied and appreciative of Xu Feng during the lecture which prompted him to make such a decision.

With this as a promise, even if Xu Feng were to fail and couldn’t get the Phantom Warship, there was still a decent warship waiting for him.

In response to such generosity, Xu Feng stood up and cupped his fist.

"Thank you, Handsome Chao. But rather than the silver ranked warship, I hope you can keep the Phantom Warship clean. I’ll be returning to retrieve the ship and the blueprints for it." He responded in full confidence.

Nodding in approval, Chao Shen no longer wasted his breath and fanned himself a few times with his folding fan.

Having said that, Chao Shen suddenly unleashed his aura and a powerful gust of wind soon formed.

In the next instance, the wind charged straight at Xu Feng.

Warships are an entity of their own, so even their categorization in rarity was different from the Divine World Equipment rarity.

Though Xu Feng already knew about it, the description seemed to be an explanation or an informative lecture in disguise.

Knowing that Chao Shen intended well for him, Xu Feng could only board the warship and assume control.

Besides the item name, most of the information was either restricted or labeled with question marks. Seeing this, Xu Feng knew that the item was far from his level to decipher.

System Notification: Due to special circumstances, Player Lin Feng is temporarily granted access to the Phantasm Map when traveling in the Phantasm Sea. Once Player Nathan left the Phantasm Sea vicinity, the map would no longer be effective.

A special system prompt popped up, indicating the uniqueness of this particular map.

Xu Feng closed the system prompt and began to operate the ship, his hand holding on the large helm which was essentially the steering wheel for a ship.

With everything in motion, the gold ranked warship officially left the port and began to enter the Phantasm Sea. Xu Feng’s eyes were vigilant the entire time as he then received two sets of system prompts.
