Qiao Xuan lifted the curtain and spotted the crowd eagerly waiting for her. She pondered what to say upon disembarking, but before she could utter a word, they created a heartfelt scene.

Lixia, with a smile, asked for their attention and continued, “Madam’s words stand. You can be at ease. However, Madam wants to emphasize that if you plan to stay long-term, treat this place as your home and protect it. Follow the manor rules, refrain from actions harmful to Madam, and any betrayal or collusion with outsiders won’t be taken lightly!”
The atmosphere tensed momentarily as everyone briskly nodded in agreement.
“Absolutely. If anyone betrays, we won’t let them off!”
“That’s right. We owe Madam too much. Following her instructions is the least we can do. Failing even in that would be disgraceful.”
“If there’s a traitor, we’ll stand against them first!”

Agreeing, everyone shared their thoughts.
Lixia handed two packets of pine nuts to Liu Fu and Qing Lian, asking them to distribute them to the children. The kids happily thanked them, cheering at the treat.
Gentle smiles adorned the adults’ faces, expressing gratitude before departing one by one.
Inside the room, Qiao Xuan invited everyone to take a seat and had tea served. After some small talk, she inquired about their stay and reiterated the manor rules.
