Chapter 1001: Eighth Familiar

“You don’t need a mask to hide your identities?”

“I have told her.” Bella shrugged.

Evelyn remained expressionless, but she still replied, “No need. I never hide my face. I simply never appeared before this. Besides, this will be the last time I need to stay in hiding.”

Evelyn’s meaning was clear. Their original plan was simple and swift. They would get the information from these guys and teleport directly to their headquarters.

If they lost, Evelyn would die. If they won, the rest of the enemies were on another continent. Even if there was one hiding, she had grown strong enough she didn’t fear them anymore. And she would get enough information from Garam later. Basically, there was simply no need to hide her existence anymore.

Nathan just chuckled. “Haha. That’s true.”

“You bastard!” Lavinster gritted his teeth. “How dare you ignore me?” His arms moved forward, trying to crush Nathan with his power.

“Selena. Noelle, Sera. Alavenya, Flora.” Nathan called those five names with a specific pacing.

All of them instantly picked up his meaning. From the way he spoke alone, they knew they were split into three teams. From the way they were split, their enemies were clear.

Before Lavinster could attack Nathan, a bigger hand appeared and punched him.

*Bam!*

“Who?!” Lavinster gritted his teeth, glaring at whoever attacked him earlier.

Selena walked toward him, her eyes turning cold. From her body emerged a huge avatar. “Good. I can finally shut this foul mouth.”

Meanwhile, Noelle slashed Karen with everything she had. Her familiars, along with Brunhild, moved forward and restrained all her familiars.

Finally, Sera summoned her new familiar next to her. The familiar had a pair of wings like that of an angel, but it had two faces, one facing the front and the other facing the back. His right hand was holding a long staff while his left hand brought a huge key.

“Take her down!” Sera waved her hand as she used her power to boost everyone’s strength.

Alavenya and Flora did the same.

Alavenya struck Baral with her Dragon Fist, but the latter managed to block it with both arms. Still, the force of her Dragon Fist was much more powerful than three months ago. It was enough to push him back.

Once he reached a certain distance, a magic circle appeared underneath his feet.

“!!!” Baral was surprised, but it was too late. The magic circle let out a powerful spark and electrocuted him. “Aaahhhhh!”

Still, his endurance was much better than others. He gritted his teeth before shouting, “Hurry up! Inform the lord!”

“!!!” Karen almost forgot about this. Since the mission was a failure, they should report it so that the boss could get away or hide somewhere.

Karen hurriedly poured her ena into the ring, only to find out that there was no ring for her to insert the ena. “Huh?”

She lowered her vision and noticed that the ring on her finger was gone.

“Are you searching for these rings?” Nathan grinned and playfully put the rings on the gap between his fingers to show them off. “Do you think I don’t know you’re using these rings to communicate?”

“Lucas!” Karen panicked and called another person who could contact the headquarters. She never thought the enemy would be this focused on taking them down. They truly had fallen into an inescapable trap.

Besides, Nathan had successfully combined Mae’s illusion and his Time Magic to hypnotize them. This was the reason Lavinster couldn’t even react to him… the reason he paced his own speech. The ‘tick-tock’ gradually slowed down as he applied both the illusion and time element to slow down their reaction time. He skillfully stole their rings during that time.

This kind of trick might not work again anymore, but since they never expected him to come, it would work wonderfully.

Of course, there were three people here. Even if Nathan managed to steal these two rings, there was still one more person.

Unfortunately for them, Lucas was experiencing the same thing. Bella utilized her illusion while Evelyn used her punch to pressure him and gather his attention while her gravity sneakily took off the ring.

“Catch.” Evelyn tossed the ring to Bella to safeguard it.

“I never thought you would appear here… The color of your hair might be different, but you… I won’t mistake you for anyone else. Why would you appear here, Evelyn Lavender?!” Lucas gritted his teeth.

Rood’s heart skipped a beat. He was indeed not wrong. The person before him was none other than the genius that once shook the world, the first daughter of Marquis Lavender of the Liaystian Kingdom, Evelyn Lavender.

Meanwhile, the person next to him was her childhood friend, the second daughter of Count Slavina, Isabella Slavina. However, both of them were supposed to be dead.

How could they be here? More importantly, there was also Nathan. Why would they work with Nathan? Were they actually the hidden backer Nathan had this whole time?

It was simply too shocking. After all, Evelyn’s current strength made him dread. It was clear that she had passed the threshold.

Evelyn harrumphed as she stood up and stomped Lucas in the stomach by using her gravity magic.

“Gaaaahhhhh!” Lucas’ eyes rolled back as his organs felt like they were being crushed. Three of his ribs were crushed by the front part of her shoe.

“Hey. Don’t kill him. I need to do something to him before killing him if you want the information.” Nathan shouted from a distance.

“I know that.” Evelyn glanced to the side. “You should worry about yourself more than me. It doesn’t look like they’re seeing an outsider that kindly.”

“I know, right?” Nathan smiled wryly as he leaped to the teachers of the Axia Academy. Lavinster’s character aside, the teachers still regarded Lavinster as their savior. They didn’t know all the conspiracies behind this matter.

All they knew was that the people from the Azilia Kingdom attacked him and messed around with the current situation.

Nathan simply stood behind those aliens as though he were the boss. Still, it looked like the aliens were following the command of the enemy.

So, one teacher took the initiative to test Nathan to see whether he was their enemy or not by pushing back the alien. This way, Nathan was much closer to the alien than he was. Normally, the alien would definitely go for Nathan, but if he was from the Divine Hand, the alien shouldn’t attack him.

For better or for worse, the alien turned around and attacked Nathan instead.

That punch was surprisingly stopped by a beast even Selena and the others hadn’t seen.

“Say hello to others.” Nathan smiled. “My eighth familiar.”
