SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 712 - 712: Step Down, Kent!

The gathering at the Milk Sea, which was meant to celebrate and witness the coronation of Kent and the reinstatement of the Lust Goddess, had devolved into more chaos.

Women’s groups, led by the fiery wife of the Space God, were not listening to the reasonable debate of Kent and war god.

They were acting unreasonably and stood the agenda of opposing lust goddess.

Their chants echoed across the divine expanse, creating an uneasy tension that even the gods found hard to navigate.

“We will not stand by while chaos descends upon the spirit world!” shouted the wife of the Space God, her voice sharp and resolute. “The Lust Goddess’s return will disrupt the balance we’ve fought so hard to maintain. And now, you wish to crown this mortal as the Pleasure God? Do you even consider the consequences of your decisions?”

The crowd of women erupted in agreement, their voices blending into a cacophony of protest.

“Stop this madness! Do not bring ruin upon us!”

“We demand that Kent renounce his claim to godhood!”

The War God, who had been standing silently with a stoic expression, finally stepped forward, his patience clearly worn thin. He raised a hand, and the ground beneath him trembled slightly, demanding attention. His deep voice reverberated through the gathering.

“Enough!” the War God thundered, his divine aura flaring. “I have heard your protests, and I have tried to show you patience and respect. But now you push too far. The decision to reinstate the Lust Goddess and crown Kent is final. This is not a debate!”

The women’s groups showed no signs of relenting. The wife of the Space God stepped forward again, her gaze locking with the War God’s.

“Respected War God, we acknowledge your authority, but you cannot ignore the will of the people! Bringing back the Lust Goddess will destabilize the spirit world. Have you considered the ripple effects?”

Kent, who had been watching silently, observed the growing animosity. His stoic face betrayed none of his inner thoughts, but his mind raced. The gathering’s energy was volatile, and it was clear that this moment would define the future.

The War God’s face darkened. With a sudden burst of power, he transformed into his ultimate form, his divine body growing larger, his eight arms holding an array of celestial weapons.

His primary hands clasped a golden pot filled with essence liquid, while another pair held shimmering water that began to glow with divine energy as he muttered ancient incantations.

The crowd fell silent, their protests stifled by the overwhelming display of power. The War God’s voice rang out like thunder.

“I, the ruler of the spirit world and lord of this loka, hereby declare: anyone who dares to blame the Lust Goddess for their own shortcomings will be cursed to suffer public humiliation and disgrace. This is my divine decree!”

The glowing water in his hands radiated golden light, forming intricate patterns in the air before dissipating into the ether. The curse hung heavy in the air, a palpable force that silenced even the boldest voices among the crowd.

Fear gripped the women’s groups. Their faces turned pale as they hesitated to speak further, unsure of whether their next words might invoke the War God’s wrath.

The once-unified front of protest wavered, and an uneasy silence settled over the gathering.

But just as the War God began to think the issue was resolved, the wife of the Space God stepped forward once more, her expression defiant.

“What is the meaning of this?” she demanded, her voice cutting through the silence. “Do you think you can silence us with threats and curses? Just because you hold power does not mean you can suppress the voice of reason. The Lust Goddess has not yet been coronated. Your curse is void until she ascends to her position.”

The crowd murmured in agreement, emboldened by her words.

“You’re only sowing chaos!” she continued. “If the Lust Goddess returns, the spirit world will fall into disarray. We demand that you reconsider this reckless decision!”

The War God’s expression turned grim. “You test my patience, woman. I have made my decision. The Lust Goddess will reclaim her rightful place, and Kent will ascend as the Pleasure God. If anyone dares to stand in my way, they will face my wrath.”

His divine aura flared again, but the wife of the Space God stood her ground. “We are not afraid of you, War God. We belong to the God race just as you do. You cannot dismiss our concerns so easily. If you insist on reinstating the Lust Goddess, then at least prevent Kent from taking the title of Pleasure God. The spirit world cannot handle both!”

The crowd erupted once more, their chants now directed at Kent.

“Step down, Kent!”

“Reject the Godhood!”

Kent, who had been silent throughout the ordeal, finally stepped forward. His companions, including Jean, Gunji, and Fatty Ben, watched him anxiously from a distance. The baby dragon clung to his shoulder, growling softly as if sensing the tension.

With a calm yet firm voice, Kent addressed the crowd. “With pleasure,” he said, a faint smile playing on his lips. “I am ready to step down. If you feel more safe and secure, I won’t mind sacrificing my godhood.”

His words sent a wave of shock through the gathering. The War God’s face fell, his carefully laid plans unraveling before his eyes.

“Kent, think carefully,” the War God immediately interrupted, his tone almost pleading. “This is a great opportunity—one that could change your fate forever.”

But Kent’s mind was made up. He turned to the War God, his expression resolute. “You have forgotten something important, War God. The first turn is not mine. It belongs to her. As you promised, pass godhood back to lust goddess.”

The War-God sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. With a wave of his hand, he gestured for the Lust Goddess to approach the throne. “It seems the decision has been made. Lust Goddess, take your rightful place. You really got a good backer.

The lust goddess exchanged a look with Kent. She can clearly see the genuine smile and appreciation on Kent face.

As she ascended the steps, the women’s groups stood silently m. Many were unwilling, but they couldn’t stretch more.

But some of them were clearly not convinced by this outcome.
