SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 893 - 893: Clash of Stone and Steel

Immortal Living Pool Arena…

The elder stepped into the sky and raised his staff.

A solemn hush descended upon the Immortal Living Pool’s great arena as the announcement echoed across the spiritual winds.

“Second match—Wu Shen of the Earth Dome Sect’s core bloodline… versus… Li Bo, Bronze Mountain Fist inheritor!”

The crowd erupted instantly.

“Wu Shen! That’s the disciple of Elder Han! He trained in the subterranean magma chambers of the Deep Earth Lotus!”

“And Li Bo is said to have shattered a full iron puppet with one punch! This will be a true collision of raw strength!”

The arena trembled slightly as two figures stepped onto the stage—a circular platform suspended above rippling waters by floating jade formations.

On the left, Wu Shen, bare-chested but wrapped in bands of earth-infused spiritual cloth, his every step sinking slightly into the platform as if the very ground was bending beneath his presence. His arms were thick, his aura solid as a mountain cliff.

On the right, Li Bo stood tall, bronze-colored veins pulsing faintly under his skin. His fists glowed with a dull golden sheen, like molten ore ready to erupt. Each knuckle was cracked and scarred from years of training under falling boulders and steel rain.

A golden bell chimed thrice.

The match began.

BOOM!

No spiritual techniques were exchanged—just fists and feet. Li Bo lunged forward first, dragging a shockwave with his dash, one foot shattering a portion of the jade platform. His right fist flew like a meteor.

“Bronze Crushing Mountain Punch!”

Wu Shen raised both forearms like a fortress wall. The moment the fist connected—

KRRRHHKK!!

Stone cracked beneath Wu Shen’s heels, but he held firm, letting out a low, guttural growl as his arms glowed with the essence of ancient soil.

“Earthen Lock!”

A massive ripple burst beneath his feet. Jagged rock pillars erupted in a spiral around him, absorbing the impact and launching a countershock into Li Bo’s arm, forcing him to backflip and slide across the platform’s edge.

The crowd roared.

“Did you see that?!”

“Wu Shen blocked Li Bo’s explosive mountain punch!”

“But look at Li Bo! He’s still smiling!”

Indeed, Li Bo wiped a smear of blood from his lip and laughed. “Earth Dome’s defense is worthy of its name. But let’s see you stop this!”

He stamped both feet, drawing his arms inward like a coiled spring.

“Bronze Mountain Fist, Fifth Form: Avalanche Breaker!!”

The air seemed to harden as his arms bulged unnaturally. Spiritual winds circled around his fists like compressed tornados. Then—he punched down.

BOOM!!!

A massive, golden phantom of a bronze mountain formed behind him and crashed forward like an avalanche of divine metal. The arena trembled violently.

Wu Shen didn’t move.

He slowly closed his eyes.

“…Earth never fears falling sky.”

He clenched his fists, a low tremor rising from the soles of his feet, spreading across the platform.

“Earth Dome Secret Art – Living Core Shell!!”

His body turned into something else entirely—stone-like, earthy, with veins of luminous jade glowing under his skin. When the mountain-shaped phantom crashed into him—

KR-BOOOM!!!

A massive dust storm exploded from the platform, obscuring both fighters.

The crowd jumped to their feet.

“Did Wu Shen survive that?!”

“Even the floating pillars around the ring are cracking!”

Even the elders leaned forward. Elder Han stroked his beard. “Come, boy… show them the true foundation of the Earth Dome Sect…”

The smoke began to clear.

A silhouette appeared—stoic, unmoved.

Wu Shen still stood, one knee bent, a crater beneath his feet, and a long trail of blood running from his mouth.

He lifted his eyes. “That all you got?”

Li Bo stumbled backward, panting. “You blocked that too?”

Wu Shen stepped forward. “My turn.”

He smashed both fists into the ground.

“EARTH CORE BURST!”

The entire platform heaved, and from beneath, a geyser of compacted earth essence shot upward, catching Li Bo off guard.

WHAM!

Li Bo flew up like a ragdoll, then came crashing down, coughing blood as he landed on one knee.

Still, he tried to rise.

But Wu Shen appeared behind him in a blink—his movements surprisingly swift for a man of stone.

“…Yield.”

Li Bo growled. “Not yet—”

CRACK!!

A clean backhand—not with fury, but with pure weight—slammed Li Bo onto his back. His spiritual shield cracked. His limbs fell limp.

Silence.

Then, a gong rang three times.

“Winner—Wu Shen of Earth Dome Sect!”

The arena exploded.

“Unbelievable!”

“He took all of Li Bo’s attacks and countered with absolute force!”

“Earth-style cultivators aren’t flashy, but they’re terrifying when matured!”

Elder Han chuckled with satisfaction. “Good. He didn’t disgrace the lineage.”

Elsewhere, among the disciples, murmurs spread.

“Whoever faces Wu Shen next… they’re doomed.”

“He barely used any techniques—just raw earth mastery and will.”

“Who do you think can stand against that?”

From the last row, Kent Clark blinked and leaned over to the disciple next to him.

“Hey. So that was Earth Dome style?”

The disciple nodded breathlessly.

Kent scratched his chin. “Looks cool. But his footwork got gaps. I bet a good water or lightning cultivator could twist around that.”

The disciple looked at him in horror. “Hey brat! It is easy to speak while sitting here. Don’t speak such things aloud! Wu Shen might hear!”

Kent raised a brow and smiled lazily. “What? Just saying. Earth may be strong, but it still cracks under enough pressure.”

He leaned back, munching on a newly bought sweet bun, already wondering who was next.

A gentle breeze swept across the arena, stirring robes and rustling the hair of the thousands watching in the stands.

The last match had left deep gouges and cracks in the jade platform, but it had already been repaired by floating talismans and cleansing waters.

Now, anticipation crackled in the air.

“Third Match: Zi Han, the Twin Blade Disciple of the Celestial Edge Sect… versus Lady Zu of the Whispering Wind Temple!”

The crowd leaned forward in unison. The aurora glasses around the Arena lit up as it displayed images of two fighters.
