"Nux, you…"
Aeliana called out, however, before she could say anything, Nux’s eyes fell on the Velcrian Leaders.
The three leaders flinched, Nux’s gaze lingered on Kaelgran for a little longer, making the stone dude sweat buckets.
His race didn’t even sweat in the first place!
"What are you standing there for? Scram."
Nux ordered with a cold look on his face and in an instant, the Leaders reacted.
Liora actually wanted to talk to Ember, however, seeing the latter had no interest in the conversation, not to mention that man’s intimidating gaze that stared at them like a predator who would pounce on them at any moment, the Seraphyte decided not to bother Ember and together with her comrades, she flew in the air.
With a wave of her hand, the unconscious Velcrian soldiers’ bodies rose in the air, the Sovereigns who were still conscious, flew as well, almost all of them staring at the man and their General.
"We are thankful for what you have done, General Ember and her party."
Liora bowed her head before placing the soldiers in the battle fleets and leaving Tandris.’Lane?’
After they left, Nux called out using his Universe’s connection.
’I am in their fleet.
Lane answered and Nux nodded. He had sent Lane to keep an eye on the Velcrians just to be safe.
’Be safe.
’Don’t worry, if something happens, I will die!
Lane replied and Nux just stared in a random direction with a blank look on his face.
’Why do I feel like you are being influenced by Shadow?"
He questioned with a frown here.
’How was I brought up here?’
Shadow complained.
…
Everyone turned silent and noticing this, Shadow frowned.
’Why do I feel like you guys are ignoring me?"
"1.
’Hey? Hey! Lane! You out of all people should be on my side, no? I am you!"
’Lies.
Lane defended herself.
’Oh come on! You are just lying to yourself. Just accept your true self, come to the dark side-
We hav-’
’Shut up!
Lane snorted before she stopped replying altogether.
’Nux, I am sad!’
Shadow complained with a pout.
’I am here, what do you want?’
Nux questioned gently, his voice full of warmth and love, completely opposite to how he was with everyone here in Tandris.
The Tandris soldiers might even puke in disgust and indignance if they heard Nux speak such words in this manner.
’Fuck me!
Shadow requested and before Nux could reply-
’Don’t you dare, you bitch.
It is my turn next.
Amaya jumped in.
"Weren’t you cultivating!? Where did you come from?"
Shadow retorted.
’I always have my eyes on you!
’Fuck you! I don’t swing that way!
Even Amaya had a difficult time dealing with Shadow.
On the other hand, Aeliana, who was waiting till all the Tandris soldiers left, glanced at
Nux again and,
"Nux, that sword…"
"Mhm, the Relic"
Nux nodded.
"That sword is capable of hurting even the Transcendents?"
"That is correct.
We can even kill one if we have this."
"We can kill one?"
Aeliana couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
"Do not underestimate the Relics, Aeliana.
These are the creations of the Supreme World of Eternity, a world that is strong enough to face other Supreme Worlds despite having to depend on the rest of the Universe.
The reason behind this is because they have these Relics."
After absorbing Umbrasol, Nux’s knowledge about the Universe had risen quite a lot.
From Umbrasol’s perspective, he had seen how the Eternity’s Relics affected things on the grand scale of things.
Even their weakest Relics, like this sword, were priceless.
Offer someone a choice between a Low-Level World or a Relic, and 90% would choose
the Relic, even if it is the weakest of the bunch.
This was simply how important these things were.
This was also the reason Nux was so surprised when he saw a Primordial wielding a Relic like this. Nux was positive that this man was someone with extreme influence back in his own world.
He wouldn’t be surprised if he was a direct descendant of one of the World Leaders.
Nux also knew that just because this Relic was now in his hand, that Middle-Level World would never leave him alone.
Not that it mattered, after all, if he wanted to run away, not even the Supreme World
could catch him, let alone a mere Middle-Level World.
"The Relics of the Supreme World of Eternity, huh…"
Thyra muttered silently.
"Of course, this is still an extremely weakened version of the weapons they have, but
to deal with a Transcendent, these are more than enough."
Nux nodded.
"So… you are saying you are now capable of killing a Transcendent?"
Aeliana questioned.
Just seeing a Sovereign facing and defeating Primordials was already absurd…
But to think now this man could…
"Of course not."
Nux shook his head and for some reason, the women around him… sighed in relief?
Yes, they wanted Nux to be the strongest, they wanted him to be the best, but…
They still wanted to be able to make some sense of all this! The sight of a Sovereign killing a Transcendent would simply break them if they were not already broken!
Even absurdity has its own limit.
"Transcendents are strong."
Nux accepted and the women around him nodded continuously, agreeing with his
words.
"Even if a Relic allows one to ignore the ’quality’ of one’s energy since it replaces the being’s energy with its own, to activate it, one still requires an absurd amount of
energy.
To kill a Transcendent, you would need Transcendent-level energy.
You are technically trying to replace your own energy with that of Transcendent-level
energy, of course, the quantity of the energy you use in the process will be absurd."
Nux explained and Ember nodded, making it simpler.
"So you are replacing quality with quantity, and in theory, it would never be enough."
"Mhm, most would run out of energy within a few minutes. Even that Primordial couldn’t use this Relic at its full strength for more than five minutes."
Nux, however, glanced at Aeliana with a grim look on his face and, "But in those five minutes he had, if his attack connected with you even once, you
would not survive."
Aeliana turned silent and her face turned grim.
"Wait…"
Suddenly, Astaria called out as she glanced at Nux.
"If all this… Relic needs is energy…
Do you not have an almost infinite amount of it?
Does that mean you can use this Relic at its full capacity for as long as you want?"
"Mm?"
Nux glanced at Astaria and at her question,
"Ah, yes.
That is correct."
He nodded casually.
