“My lovely, most beautiful, most amazing wives.”
Nux called out, staring at the beautiful women walking towards him with a nervous look on his face.
The chains restricting him got tighter and tighter, making it impossible for him to move. Now, could he break these chains and free himself? Of course he could. He was in his Universe, where he was at his strongest. Transcendents or not, his physical might was more than enough to forcefully break through these chains.
But…
Would he survive the consequences?
Heh.
Nux was a smart man.
He knew where he had to back down.
Happy wife, happy life. This is even truer when you have more wives.
The only thing Nux could do right now was to profusely beg and get out of this situation as sleekly as possible.
And there he was, trying to do just that.
“Why not listen to what I have to say first?”
He suggested intelligently.
“And what is it?”
Felberta took the bait.
“You know how much I love you, right?”
“Do we?”
Aeliana questioned back.
“You left us.”
Even Evane complained.
“It wasn’t m—”
“For five thousand years.”
The instant the elf completed that sentence, Nux turned silent.
Evane’s breathing became heavy and,
“I was… scared.
We all were.”
“I…”
“So you will stay with us.
For Eternity.”
The elf declared, repeating Amaya’s words, and since even the most reasonable one had deviated from his side, there was no way out.
It was Nux’s defeat.
He simply closed his eyes as his wives surrounded him.
Amaya’s domain expanded even further, surrounding every single woman, instantly pausing Time around them, something that Nux narrowed his eyes at as he noticed something strange.
His focus, however, was instantly attracted by the woman who smiled at him and,
“It is only you and I now.”
“That has a nice ring to it.”
Nux commented intelligently.
“I agree.”
Amaya nodded with a light smile.
“Would sound even better once we deal with all our enemies for goo—”
“Don’t push your luck, boy.”
Amaya interrupted, putting her finger on Nux’s lips.
“You are only a few years older than me.”
Nux retorted as he started sucking her finger, something that Amaya didn’t mind one bit.
“You are still a boy.”
She spoke, putting the second finger in. The smile on her face widened slowly, her dark eyes became darker and darker as suddenly, the chains wrapped around Nux loosened and grabbed Amaya as well, pulling her in.
“This is not safe, you know?”
Nux, who could now feel Amaya’s body all over him as the chains tightened around them, commented with a smile on his face, still sucking on her fingers.
“Are you scared of little chains?”
Amaya questioned in a playful tone.
“I am not.”
Nux shook his head.
“But you should be.”
He spoke with a demonic grin on his face. His canines elongated as he bit Amaya’s neck, leaving no way for the woman to resist as she was now bound by her own chains.
“Aaannhh~”
The woman moaned, her body squirmed as she sensed Nux’s body over hers after such a long, long time.
Soon, the chains continued to wrap around them, covering their entire body, forming a strange dome where they couldn’t move apart for more than a second.
Yes, their bodies were now glued, something that Amaya had been fantasizing all this while and…
And it felt much, much better than what she had in her mind.
Very quickly, clothes were ripped apart, their naked bodies rolled over each other and then,
“Annnh~”
The devourer moaned as she slowly got devoured.
Time passed. Since Amaya was now a Transcendent, she could last much longer than before, something she took full advantage of.
She didn’t even bother regenerating the broken chains after a few years. With Nux right next to her, her messy mind had finally become clearer.
A heaven.
That was what Nux’s embrace was for her.
And it wasn’t just her. The rest of the women, who Nux went to after Amaya, were all the same. They were scared, nervous, and were in constant pain for the past five thousand years. Nux felt his heart ache every time he saw them in this state.
He spent as much time as they wanted with them. He stayed with them even when they were asleep simply because these women refused to let his hand go, even in their sleep.
For the next few centuries, he didn’t give two shits about the Supreme Worlds, that Soul Father of his, or even Azriel, the Universe, and the Time Laws.
The only thing he cared about was his wives and how to calm them down.
Time passed just like that, and only after about 800 years had passed did Nux finally let go of his wives, and the first question was asked,
“What did you learn inside the Temple of Time?”
Felberta questioned, curious.
Nux laughed. He then told them everything that happened and how he had to ’create’ his own unique Time, and as he continued, the women frowned.
“So the five thousand years you spent…
They were all useless?”
Astaria raised her eyebrow.
“Well…
Yeah.”
Nux nodded.
The Power of Time was complicated. Even if he formed his own Time, its rules would not apply to the Main Universe. He wouldn’t be able to use any of the Time-related powers against beings of the main Universe because the two of them would exist in different Times.
All the women turned silent.
What could they even say? It wasn’t like Nux knew this was going to happen. Blaming him for this is foolish.
“So… are you going to create Time?”
“I will, yes.
For the Universe to be functional, all Primordial Energies are needed, especially the Energy of Time.”
“But…”
Suddenly, a frown appeared on Amaya’s face.
“But doesn’t Time already exist in our Universe?”
She questioned as she glanced at all the women around her and,
“We all spent five thousand years in here, we cultivated and even broke through. If the concept of Time doesn’t exist here, then everything shouldn’t be this smooth, should it?
How did only five thousand years pass?
Why did the Time Flow?
If Time didn’t exist, why weren’t we trapped here for Eternity?
And…
What do I devour if I devour the Time around us to freeze time?”
The woman shot a bunch of questions, questions Nux already had the answers to.
“It is a borrowed framework.”
“What?”
“Borrowed Framework,”
Nux repeated as he then started explaining,
“There are a few forces no Universe can survive without:
Time, Space, Cause and Effect.
When our Universe was formed, it was Empty, but it wasn’t truly ’Empty’. Even the weakest, simplest of dimensions need the above-mentioned forces, let alone a Universe. That is how essential these forces are.
But because of how essential these forces are, every being understands their simplest of concepts.
Any human, even a mortal, is able to perceive time. I was no different, so the Universe used my perception of Time and made it its own.”
“So if it used your perception…”
“Yes, it copied Time from the Main Universe.”
Nux nodded.
“But again, it was just a borrowed framework, like an echo. It was not an established Time set by me, the Universe.
It was only a temporary measure, something that can never be used as one of the Primordial Energies. After all, if two Universes have the same ’Time’, they will collide.”
“So… how are you going to form your own Unique Time?”
Felberta questioned with a curious look on her face.
Since it was about creation, she was extremely interested. She was also waiting to see if she could be of any help in any way, something that Nux could see with how her eyes were shining brightly.
He chuckled at how adorable his wife was as he then shrugged,
“Well, I have differentiated between thousands of ’Times’ when I cleared the final Trial.”
“But there aren’t just thousands of Universes, you said it yourself.”
Melia pointed.
“There aren’t.”
Nux nodded.
“There are many, more than what any of us could think of. If I follow their pattern and create something similar, but different from the Times I comprehended, I am sure that our Universe will then clash with another, making it impossible for me to continue.
I need something…
Entirely Unique.
Something that doesn’t exist, even once, in trillions and trillions of Universes.”
The moment she heard those words, Edda laughed out loud,
“Trillions? Just say you aren’t going to create Time in the first place and will find something else to replace it.
That sounds more plausible.”
The perverted maid grinned. The rest of the women stared at her, narrowing their eyes at her, not liking her pessimistic attitude, but suddenly,
“That is correct.”
Nux nodded.
“Huh…?”
The women frowned, Nux on the other hand, grinned.
“I am not going to form Time. It is impossible to form a uniquely structured Time considering the absurd number of Universes there are…
So,
I am going to create something different.
Instead of trying to form a structured Time, I am going to form an unstructured Time,
A Sentient Time.
A Time that feels, responds, and empathizes with every being of the Universe.
A Time anchored, not to the Universe, but to its residents’ emotions.”
“What…?”
The women blinked, and Nux’s grin just widened as he closed his eyes and got to work.
