Velgrath Expanse in the Cygni Continent…
It was the widest plain that could be found on the eastern side of the continent.
And today, it would play a significant role and go down in history as the Conqueror’s Summit.
“It looks like everyone is here to showcase their strength,” Prince Valen of House Pavareth said with a smile. “What do you think, Sister? Who will come out on top in today’s conference?”
“It’s too early to tell, brother,” Princess Aracelle replied before sitting on a luxurious chair that had just been set by one of her followers. “But one thing is certain. Today, they will know that House Pavareth isn’t a pushover.”
Prince Valen chuckled because that was the truth.
House Pavareth had brought two Pseudo-Majin Princes to this meeting, highlighting the combat strength of House Pavareth.
Of course, they also brought an additional three Rank 8 Sovereigns to make a lasting impression.
Jinns liked to show dominance through power, so revealing their cards at the start would make the other factions understand how powerful they were.
They were one of the first factions to arrive at the Velgrath Expanse, aside from the Velmoria Royal Family and Houze Azrakith.
“Show-offs.” Princess Laventia clicked her tongue as she glanced at Princess Aracelle, who was seated beside her brother, looking like the princess that she was.
“Now, now, don’t pout, little Laventia,” a beautiful lady said with a smile. “Our family doesn’t need to use brute force to win wars. Let them stroke their ego while we collect spoils on the battlefield.”
“You’re right, sister,” Princess Laventia replied. “We’ll just let these uncultured swines fight each other to the death.”
“Hey, are you badmouthing us on purpose?” the Prince of the Grunari Kingdom, Prince Morrim, asked in annoyance.
“What’s the problem in calling swines, swines?” Princess Laventia sneered. “Or would you rather be called a Pig? If so, I do apologize, Mr. Piggy.”
“You slut sure knows how to run your mouth!” Prince Morrin growled.
The Grunari was a Kingdom of Boarkins, which was located on the Central Continent of Gomorra.
Although they look brutish and barbaric, they were very sensitive to the terms pigs and swine, because for them, it was an insult.
Since the Velmoria Kingdom was located on the Eastern Continent, they didn’t have the opportunity to interact with the Boarkins until now.
Clearly, Princess Laventia was someone who only cared about her neighbors and disregarded the rest.
She was the typical princess who bullied the weak and feared the strong.
The Velmoria Royal Family had brought a Rank 9 Sovereign and five Rank 8 Sovereigns.
While the Grunari Kingdom brought one Rank 9 Sovereign and two Rank 8 Sovereigns.
When it came to military power, it was very obvious that the Velmoria Royal Family was far superior, which prompted Princess Laventia to talk high and mighty to the Grunari Prince.
“Your Highness, don’t take the words of this slut at heart,” the General of the Grunari stated. “These wenches only know how to run their mouths and are very good at it. Why don’t you ask her to service you so she can put that foul mouth of hers to good use?”
“Hah! You’re right, General,” Prince Morrin laughed. “Hey, slut. Put that mouth of yours into good use and make me feel good. I guarantee you that you won’t be disappointed.”
“Hah!” Princess Lavinia laughed out loud. “I know you are a country bumpkin, but I didn’t expect that you’re delusional as well! Hahaha! Go and look for a pig as ugly as yourself. I’m sure it won’t be hard for you because you’re a pig!”
Before Prince Morrin could even reply, a playful voice reached everyone’s ears.
“It’s getting so lively here,” Prince Xylen said with a smile. “It’s a good thing you allowed me to come, General.”
“Mmm.” The General of the Azrakith Court nodded. “Just don’t stir up trouble, Your Highness. I don’t want to clean up your mess for you.”
Prince Xylen shook his head helplessly because the one calling the shots right now was the famed Bloody General of the Azrakith Court, General Xelnaav.
Just like House Pavareth, they also had two Rank 9 Pseudo Majin Princes and four Rank 8 Sovereigns.
They were making sure to let everyone know that they came to this war prepared, so the other factions should not get in their way.
One by one, the thirty factions, comprising thirty kingdoms and empires in Gomorra, gathered.
But that wasn’t all.
The mere presence of the creatures standing behind their backs was enough to intimidate the Monarchs of Pangea, making them wish that they wouldn’t face them in the battlefield.
Thirty-eight Rank 9 Sovereigns.
This number was completely unprecedented, putting the invasion of the Antares and Rigel continents to shame.
Back then, it only took three Rank 9 Sovereigns for Antares to fall, while it took five Rank 9 Sovereigns for the Rigel Continent to be conquered.
The three Earth Dragons had ganged up on their competitors, eliminating them to become the true victors of the Rigel Continent.
However, everyone understood that after this war ended, only a few of those Sovereigns would remain, for everyone would try to eliminate each other to become the rulers of the continent.
Although four Factions had brought two Pseudo-Sovereigns each, the majority of the Jinns weren’t worried.
Why?
Because the enemy of their enemy was their friend.
Standing out would mean that they would be targeted by more factions, so it didn’t really matter how many powerhouses they possessed at the moment.
Of course, House Pavareth, the Skavari, the Azrakith Court, and the Garuda Empire were well aware of this fact.
But did they care?
Not really.
They were here to prove that they had what it takes to rule over the other factions, so it really didn’t matter even if the small fries were to band together against them.
“Since we are all here, why don’t we start this discussion?” Prince Valen announced fearlessly. “We have our treaties, but we know that these treaties won’t bind anyone, especially those who have irreconcilable grudges with each other.”
Prince Valen glanced at the Skavari and the Marten Races, who were known to be mortal enemies.
The only reason why they were not openly attacking each other now was due to the fact that they didn’t want to be taken advantage of by their competitors.
As races that managed to expand their territories in Gomorra, they were at least capable of looking at the bigger picture.
“I’m sure all of you are here to carve your own place in this world,” Prince Valen stated. “But in order to do that, we need to first deal with the defenders of this land before we can claim it as our own.
“My sister told me the history of this world, and I find it quite amusing. The Antares and Rigel Continents had fallen with just a handful of Rank 9 Sovereigns, and we have thirty-eight of them gathered here right now.
“You understand what I’m talking about, right? Unless the humans have drastically improved their ranks over the past decades, they are no match against us. However, it just so happens that the top fighters of this world are only six people. There are ten thrones, but they don’t really pose a threat to us.
“Frankly, there is no one in this world that can threaten us, so how about we just form teams to attack the humans and get it over with? We can just split the lands after we eliminate every single one of them.”
Suddenly, a chuckle reached Prince Valen’s ears, making him shift his attention to Prince Xylen, who was looking at him with a smile.
“It is best if you don’t underestimate the humans of this world, Prince Valen,” Prince Xylen said. “While they might not have strong warriors that can match our armies, they do have Zion Leventis.”
“I have heard about him.” Prince Valen nodded. “A rookie who can’t even raise his rank but still managed to lead the humans into a ‘small’ victory against the Jinns of the Rigel Continent.”
Prince Valen made sure to highlight the words “small victory” in his statement, making Princess Aracelle subtly clench her hands that were resting on her lap.
Hearing someone look down on the one she chose to become her significant other made her feel frustrated.
But she knew better than to make her thoughts known to everyone who had gathered for the conference.
“Small victory, you say?”
The interruption made everyone glance in the direction of the person who spoke.
However, when they saw the person standing there, Princess Aracelle, Prince Xylen, Princess Laventia, and Kessari, who was masquerading as Prince Zorren, gasped in shock.
“Good day, everyone,” Thirteen said with a smile as he gave everyone a brief nod of acknowledgement. “The name is Zion Leventis, and I have come to laugh at all of you.”
After saying those words, the teenage boy rested his hands on his hips and laughed out loud.
His laughter was filled with disdain, as if mocking the Jinns for even having this summit in the first place.
The two Pocopocos on his shoulder laughed with their Master, making all the Jinns look at him in disbelief.
“Y’all smell like burnt socks and ego stew!” Pica laughed.
“Sis, do they roar to talk, or talk to roar?” Pico asked. “Either way it’s dumb!”
“They say jinns are eternal… So are trash fires!”
“Um, that guy Prince Valen tries to talk diplomacy, but he sounds like a blender stuck on gravel!”
The two Pocopocos once again laughed in disdain, making Prince Valen glare at them, while Princess Aracelle did her best to keep herself from giggling due to the insults hurled at her brother.
No one expected that the “greatest threat” that they were about to face was right before them, alongside the two annoying Pocopocos, who were clearly asking for a beating.
