“So, how are we going to explain what happened today? You knocking everyone in the castle down to find Rey and Ray?” Isdis looked at Arad, who was standing in the back behind Rey and Ray.

He looked at the door, “Let’s just say I had some private problems with them. If a maid had any problem or mishap or needed anything, I’d help them in private.”

“So if anyone wanted to know what exactly Rey and Ray. I can tell them that once they do something, they can trust you to keep it a secret for them.” Isdis smiled. Arad’s plan was simple, but it should be effective.

Rey and Ray then looked at Arad. Rey was the one to speak first as she looked around, “You called all of your incarnations. What will you do about that?”

Ray smiled, “I can send them back for you.”

Arad chuckled, “Ah, thank you. But they had already left. They should be almost returning to where they were.” The moment Arad returned, he sent his incarnations to the half-angel kingdom and the university. He still has many things to do.

Finishing the diplomatic problems with Lucifer comes first, and then he’ll have to go and check on Gabriel.

Then Arad has to go and visit the draconic queens. He met the Metallic Queen before, so she should be fine. But the Chromatic Queen might be angry at him. Her pink daughter is beaten to a pulp and knocked out in his lair. After all, Gamond rinsed her like a towel.

Then, the allegedly dangerous quest. Giving Cerilla a ride to the top of the world tree. Arad doesn’t know what kind of dangers await them up there, but he is certain they won’t be easy to deal with.

Lastly, he has a very important meeting with his brother in the Arctic Northern Kingdom. After which, they’ll fly out of the world to meet their mother, who is allegedly carrying this mortal world in her stomach and flying through the vacuum of space.

Arad couldn’t believe that everything that happened inside the mortal world was happening inside her stomach. Even now, they are inside her still. If he flew into space and kept going up, he’d eventually find himself swimming in the endless void of her stomach.

Arad still had to finish everything he had to do here before that. Otherwise, Isdis and his wives would strangle him to death. The royal weddings and the draconic battles would have to be right at the end, after visiting Gojo and before leaving the mortal world to hunt for worlds.

Arad swallowed the dead world that Rey and Ray teleported him to, but that world was already destroyed. Arad could only use it as fuel, which made him understand that he needed to keep the world’s core intact at least.

“I’m going out. Someone has to help with the cleanup. You can deal with those two.” Arad waved his hand and left, leaving Rey and Ray with Isdis. She looked back at them, “Let’s get the work done first. We’ll talk about everything tonight over a large mug of tea. I’m sure you’ve left many small details untold.”

The two maids looked at her and smiled, “Many details. Right?” Rey looked at Ray, “Indeed, too many details.”

Back at the half-angel kingdom, Arad finally returned. He landed right outside the borders and teleported into the castle with a void step, landing right in his room. Inside there, he found Diana brushing little Kali’s hair. Mira and Aella were nowhere to be seen, but Tina and Valeria were playing with Serin in the corner.

“How did it go?” Diana asked with a worried face, but Kali laughed before Arad could even reply. “Does it matter? If they don’t bow down, I’ll beat them until they do. It’s quite problematic to have someone above Arad.” She can’t have the overgod getting controlled by two drakainas and played by them. It’s not just a family problem but a universe-wide disaster if that happens.

The overgod, the one who rules the universe, must be free of all shackles. She is Kali, his weapon of destruction and the one that’ll shatter those shackles if they ever dare to appear.

“It went as you’d expect from an adult dragon facing two wyrms. I did as well as I could but was destined to lose. But in the end, they threw the fight away and gave up.” Arad sighed, and Kali nodded, “They were smart.”

Arad looked at her and asked with a worried face, “You’re serious?”

Kali lifted her tiny fist and opened her palm. At that moment, Rey and Ray appeared in the middle of the room, confused. They looked around with puzzled faces, but Kali’s voice quickly drew their attention.

“Congratulation. You seem to have been smart enough not to get yourself killed.” She jumped from her chair and approached them.

The two drakainas looked at her, “So it was you.” The two froze in place for a second, and then Ray spoke first. “If you, the goddess of destruction, are content being beneath Arad, only a fool would attempt to be above him.”

Rey smiled, “But we didn’t give up because of you. We are now living as maids serving Isdis, so by extension, we’re serving Arad. The fight was more or less us showing Arad what we could do and him showing us what he could do.”

“Good, then I’ll ask you one last question. Do you know how I teleported you here?” Kali smiled, looking at them with glowing pink eyes.

The two maids looked at her. A little girl with long pink hair and a frail-looking body.

“No,” The two replied at the same time.

“You two are technically orphans, so you fall under my domain the same way you fall under Yog’s domain. I’ve already marked you, so if you get in any trouble, I’ll be able to help you.”

Both Rey and Ray now got Kali’s mark, and not the destruction one, but the orphan mark. It wasn’t a mark that granted damaging powers, but it granted other useful abilities that would help them in their daily life, powers that they’d have to figure out and learn how to exploit. Mana dragons loved nothing more than playing with magic. This was Kali’s gift to them as a congratulation for finally joining in.

“And I’ll strangle you if you hide the biscuits jar from me again.”
