Chapter 3219: Mother Mirasia

Chapter 3219: Mother Mirasia

The sheer magnitude of the titanic tree, thousands and thousands of kilometers in the distance, was truly titanic. Despite the fact that much of its body was beneath the horizon, it still towered over everything else, drawing attention over vast expanses of area.

“That is Mother Mirasia,” Veruschia informed with an admiring and respectful tone. “She is one of the eldest Mothers of Nature in existence. She stands tall and proud over Genora, watching over her children as we stumble and fall in our pursuit of the Nature Path.”

Rui could feel a tremendous amount of power within the depths of each Mother of Nature as well as a profoundly powerful intelligence, both of which greatly exceeded even the Elder Tree, a quasi-Transcendent entity in and of itself.

Its gigantic body contained mass worth tectonic plates, containing its own gravitational field, even if very small. Despite the silent darkness of night that covered much of West Genora, the sheer glory and magnificence of the massive tree could not be denied by its extraordinary stature.

Its massive trunk extended deep into the skies, reaching the outer edge of the atmosphere as branches with leaves that extended thousands and thousands of kilometers in radius were protectively covered a large amount of area on the continent.

“Incredible…!” Amare gasped. “So this is a Mother of Nature!”

“Indeed,” Veruschia replied. “This is their true form. They possess great power and equally great wisdom within their depths. We regard them as the pinnacle of the Nature Path, with no greater height in sight.”

Rui’s eyes lit up with curiosity at those words.

Even as he gazed at the powerful Mother of Nature, he could sense that, as extraordinary a lifeform as she was, she still did not possess the equivalent of a Transcendent Realm. She did not possess the power to intervene in the very fabric of reality itself.

Regardless, the sheer scale and stature of the mighty tree begged the question of whether she truly needed to in the first place. Her extraordinary and immense power meant that she was capable of incredible destruction, surpassing any quasi-Transcendent monster. Rui even felt a small but faint hint of danger from the Mother of Nature, which meant that she was extraordinarily able in combat as well, even against a small target like himself relative to her enormous scale.

“Come, let us continue inward towards your designated living quarters,” Veruschia gently coaxed them. “You will have plenty of time to explore our home and even converse with our Mothers of Nature.”

They continued their journey inward into the Genora Continent as they went deeper and deeper into the endless forest. Rui tried expanding his senses as far as he could across the entire continent, only to find that his senses were hazy and distorted.

“You have anti-surveillance measures,” he realized.

“Yes, these are our measures to disrupt long-range surveillance and satellite surveillance from our enemies,’ she replied informatively. “Our trees and plants are all genetically modified to include anti-sensory botanical biotechnology. It allows us to preserve our secrets from outsiders and especially from our enemies. It also preserves the sanctity of our sacred homeland. Be honored, Prince Rui, for we rarely allow outsiders to come this deep into West Genora.”

“I do appreciate this gesture of goodwill,” Rui replied as he continued trying to gauge the forest below them.

Although his senses were hindered, they were not entirely disrupted.

He could sense the sheer, rich diversity of life that was spread across the entire forest.

Not just small critters and birds, but a rich fauna that occupied the flora of the continent. It made sense, after all, animals were an important part of chemical cycles that sustained flora and vegetation. It was the Elder Treethat was bothered with a Garden of Salvation to preserve species that were important to its survival.

However, it wasn’t just fauna he sensed.

He sensed elves.

They lived inside trees.

The larger, giant trees served as homes for these elves, who didn’t bother creating separate infrastructure. They merely genetically modified some trees to grow wider and hollow, allowing them to reside within them as they had in their little settlement on the Panama Continent.

“Remarkable,” Rui replied. “Indeed, you have seamlessly and entirely integrated civilization into nature. I have never ever seen anything like this in my entire life. I have never seen such sophistication and complexity in one’s technology in a civilization that is not urbanized and has not conquered its nature.”

“For us, nature is something to harmonize with, not conquer,” she informed him with a knowing tone. “We do not seek to destroy Mother Nature, instead we seek to work with her, elevate her, and elevate ourselves with her. And thus far…” View the correct content at

She smiled at him.

“It has worked out extremely well. Genora is one of the most secure continents, and we elves are regarded as impregnable. That doesn’t mean that we are necessarily the most powerful, but indeed, we have proven that our way of life prevails.”

“I have great respect for what the elves have accomplished,” Rui admitted. “Indeed, there are things that we humans can learn from you.”

“And we from you,” she complimented, turning forward. “Come, we have arrived at the living quarters that we have prepared especially for the two of you.”

WHOOSH

They slowed down as they arrived what was perhaps the most picturesque little home either of them had ever seen. It was a little hut that was situated atop a mountain, surrounded by lush, green, grasslands that spread as far as the eye could see. Beside it was a lake with pure, clear water.

The air was fresh and cool, rejuvenating one with a single breath while fireflies twinkled in the darkness of the night sky.

“This…” Amare whispered with a stunned voice. “This is the most beautiful place that I have ever seen in all my lives.”

Even Rui couldn’t help but be frozen in place at the breathtaking beauty of the view that stretched out before him.

It was like paradise.
