THE PRIMORDIAL RECORD

Chapter 1443 Elura's Test

Chapter 1443  Elura’s Test

Elura’s branch on the Tree of Life, whether by accident or design was situated right above the Eldar branch, and similar to the Eldar branch below it was teeming with an infinite number of leaves each holding different realities, and Rowan wondered with the power of his mother’s bloodline and all the time in existence, what would she have managed to accomplish on an entire branch of the Tree of Life.

With the revelations from Seed about the powers of his mother, he could almost imagine what she could be capable of, and the possibility of such power in her hands was alarming.

Rowan could catch a glimpse of what she had been able to do with this power, and they were stunning, from the small glimpses he could catch, there were billions of cities stretched across multiple dimensions, each vast, yet inextricably connected, multiple massive industrial complexes the size of universes producing unknown products, endless fields filled with armies, conflicts, competition, life, death, everything was here and in such depths and detail that his mind could hardly wrap around everything he was seeing, and Rowan felt that Seed might have even understated the depths of Elura’s power because the prosperity of her branch on the Tree of Life was nearly equal to those of the entire Eldar branch, meaning that she was single-handedly as strong as nearly all the greater powers of the Land of Miracles, and according to Seed all major powers had a majority of their stake in the Eldar branch.

Was this the meaning of being a descendant of a tear from a Primordial? Rowan could begin to understand how his presence could shake the Land of Miracles even before he could display what he was capable of.

From what Rowan could infer, it would not be an easy venture to manage a branch on the Tree of Life, when each branch could be likened to the entirety of existence, even for an Old One such a task would likely drain so much resources from them and require so much time that Rowan knew that except they banded together to pool their resources into a single branch, most of them would not have any means to compete with Elura.

‘Tree of Imagination… Here I thought that my soul energy was a cheat code to endless resources, and here, what does she have to do to acquire power? Think really hard. I never thought there would come a day when I become envious of someone else’s ability.’

The hand of Seed on Rowan’s shoulder tightened and they descended towards Elura’s branch at the speed of an Old One which Rowan discovered was still several times faster than his greatest speed, and he did not even know if Seed was still holding back, however, he understood that during times of battle, there were many factors that could influence speed as he could simply make space so dense for his opponent that moving would be a battle all on its own.

Rowan was becoming aware that his perception of the powers of an Old One might be a bit distorted due to how his occurrence with them had gone so far, but he was sure that with what he was about to witness inside the Land of Miracles, it would be a good thing for him to begin to fear Old Ones again, however, that fear would not stop him from acting when the time arises, he only needed to be careful of his decisions going forward.

Meanwhile, it was fun to observe how Seed moved through space and time with a part of his consciousness, while the other parts furiously contemplated what he had to face ahead of him.

They had passed through countless dimensions on Elura’s Tree of Life, heading towards the core of the branch that was closest to the trunk, and even with the Speed of Seed, it took twelve hours before they began to near the core of this branch and the single greatest leaf on it.

Elura must have found a way to fuse multiple leaves, so she created a massive dimensional space that was ten times the size of any leaf here. In this massive dimension, there was only a single central structure, and it was a great statue made out of wood.

Rowan was almost reminded of the Statue of Liberty from his previous life when he saw the statue, but this one was extremely exaggerated in size; it was of a female, obviously Elura, whose size was so massive that it could be as well the single largest wooden structure and statue that Rowan had ever seen.

The two hands of the statue were raised up to her waist and hovering on the palms of the statue were two great worlds that glow like emerald gems, seemingly filled with an endless amount of life force, Rowan sight zoomed towards the world on the left palm which was the size of a supermassive universe where he could see Elura standing and waiting and beside her was Maeve, whose sight was focused towards his position because she could sense him but due to the distance between them she could not see him yet.

Rowan’s nose wrinkled, smelling the blood of Maeve, before he became an Eclipsed Creator such a thing would not have been possible, but after his multiple titles that had upgraded his destructive and predatory potential beyond all common sense, he could detect nearly all forms of conflicts and when it was related to Maeve, one of the first warm hands he had known not only as Rowan, but also as Romion, this triggered his bloodlust and his origin bloodline kept in check by his Will nearly erupted out of his body, becoming fully complete, but his heart went cold when he knew that this was his mother’s plan, she wanted him to lose control.

Restraining himself from completely activating his Origin bloodlines was already difficult enough as it was; if he added this blooming rage that had filled his senses, he could destabilize his plans.

When he had first met Elura, he had been filled with rage, albeit a bit controlled, but it did not stop him from furiously attacking her until she revealed her full might making him back down, at that time he had thought that he was a bit clever to avoid her wrath, but now he saw that his actions had been nothing but a joke in front of her. Elura had not been a fifth-dimensional immortal, but an Old One, and the only chance he had for survival at that point was because Seed was curious about his status as a Breaker and wished to use him as a weapon against other Primordial powers that even Old Ones would not be able to affect, he had simply been a tool in the hands of these two, and now nothing had changed, except he was stronger than any of them had anticipated and so Seed had volunteered more information about the state of affairs, giving him a so-called choice but also not forgetting to remind Rowan that he would kill him instantly if he was to go against his wishes.

Rowan had not truly understood the powers of reality, and he was paying for those mistakes; his present situation was borne out of his ignorance, and it was one he had no choice but to endure. However, no matter how much he lamented his position, he knew there was still an opportunity for him to rise.

Rowan sighed and Seed looked at him with curiosity, “Oh, you can detect what happened here a while ago, even though you cannot see through the Temporal field of this dimension, ah, I will give almost anything to know what goes on in that mind of yours at this instant, child.” “I was simply thinking about something you said to me not too long ago,” Rowan said, “you said the more things change, the more they remain the same, in the long run, nothing ever changes.”

“Hmm, I’m sure I did not phrase it quite in that manner, but I see your point, your first true test is about to begin. The first time you saw her, you were almost rabid like an animal, not knowing the full depths of reality, and now after a thousand years and more dimensional levels under your belt, how much have you changed? What would you do Rowan, when your subject has been tortured by your mother?”
